Show Notes

This week on Party’s Over Podcast, we had the chance to interview Dr. Meg Jay - yes, we said DR. MEG JAY, Author of The Defining Decade, the book we’ve been raving about since the very beginning of the podcast. Meg is a Clinical Psychologist and an Associate Professor of Human Development at the University of Virginia where she specializes in twentysomethings. She earned a doctorate in clinical psychology and in gender studies from the University of California, Berkeley. And, as you know, she is the author of not only The Defining Decade, but also Supernormal.

On this episode Dr. Meg Jay shares with us what her life was like and why she decided to write the Defining Decade. The Defining Decade is all about how to make the most of your twenties and why it really sets the foundation for your life. The book is written with examples from Meg Jay's clients lives which allows for different relatable scenarios.

Dr. Meg Jay wrote The Defining Decade nearly 10 years ago, but recently re-released the book very recently to include more relevant examples. These updates to the book include new statistics, social media and how that plays a role in your twenties, new stories, and more.
