What are the stories we are told and what are the stories we believe? In most newsrooms across the world there is a morning meeting where reporters discuss the most important stories of the day and which ones to put resources into covering. We live in a time where information comes at us fast. It’s hard to take a breath or know what to trust. Knowledge is power, and when you know better you do better. I want to explore the questions we need to be asking, the stories we need to hear and what exactly is the truth.

Charu Kumarhia talks to JT Kaltreider about how the pandemic inspired the edcuator to find a new way to reach children and let them know they matter.

JT Kaltreider, or most famously known as Mister Kay, is an elite early childhood educator with over a decade of experience in the field. He currently is in Drexel University’s Doctorate in Educational Leadership & Management program with a concentration in Global & International education. Mister Kay also received his K-12 Principal Certificate from Drexel and a Master of Education with a specialization in Special Education from The Pennsylvania State University. He dual majored in college and received his Bachelor of Science in Education with a PreK-4th grade teacher certification. JT is a National Marketing Coordinator for the Children’s Media Association and a member of the Diversity Content Committee. He wants all children to feel that they matter and a have a purpose in the world.
