His racing career began in a unique way - playing Grand Prix Legends on the sim. His results wowed Zoltán Zengő the owner of Zengő Motorsport, who gave him a chance to test a racing car on the Hungaroring in 2005. He was 21 years old. In 2006, his first full year behind the wheel of an actual car he won the Hungarian Suzuki Swift Cup championship.
