Ahoy! We're the Leadership Legion Podcast. Our goal is to create a legion of nerds like us who want to become better leaders in our communities, in our organizations, and with ourselves. We do this by examining the words and actions of our favorite characters in nerddom, and understanding the lessons that they reveal to us with their stories. Our hosts, Adam and Travis, are consummate nerds who love to engage on this challenging and incredibly rewarding topic of leadership and do their best to apply these lessons to their lives. Adam and Travis are joined by Adam’s colleague Kate, also known as Calligraphie from Protagonist, to discuss the show’s first leader from a video game: Commander Shepard, the player character of the Mass Effect trilogy. Throughout the game series, the player’s choices determine the amount of morality/reputation points they gain: Paragon points for lawful good choices, and Renegade points for chaotic good (or, arguably, chaotic neutral) choices.
