The sodomy"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":216.15,"endTime":221.52,"body":"is known by the name of the city"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":221.52,"endTime":227.85,"body":"as homosexual says sex, right."},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":221.52,"endTime":227.85,"body":"And so there have been laws all"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":227.85,"endTime":231.93,"body":"over the world against sodomy."},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":227.85,"endTime":231.93,"body":"So So most people when they"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":231.93,"endTime":235.77,"body":"associate the judgment that God"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":231.93,"endTime":235.77,"body":"pronounced on Sodom and"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":235.77,"endTime":240.78,"body":"Gomorrah, raining down fire, and"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":235.77,"endTime":240.78,"body":"brimstone on them with the sin"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":240.78,"endTime":246.96,"body":"of homosexuality. But actually,"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":240.78,"endTime":246.96,"body":"I just heard a professor he was"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":246.96,"endTime":250.08,"body":"talking and he pointed out the"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":246.96,"endTime":250.08,"body":"fact that the sins of Sodom are"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":250.08,"endTime":254.43,"body":"described in another passage,"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":250.08,"endTime":254.43,"body":"Ezekiel chapter 1649, says this,"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":254.43,"endTime":257.91,"body":"this was the sin of your sister"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":254.43,"endTime":257.91,"body":"Sodom, she and her daughters are"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":257.91,"endTime":261.12,"body":"arrogant, overfed, unconcerned,"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":257.91,"endTime":261.12,"body":"and they did not help the poor"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":261.12,"endTime":266.43,"body":"and needy. And so his emphasis"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":261.12,"endTime":266.43,"body":"was the reason why God destroyed"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":266.43,"endTime":270.27,"body":"Saddam was because of their"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":266.43,"endTime":270.27,"body":"greed, and their self"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":270.27,"endTime":275.88,"body":"gratification. And they're, you"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":270.27,"endTime":275.88,"body":"know, injustice, that whole"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":275.91,"endTime":279.0,"body":"angle, which is something that I"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":275.91,"endTime":279.0,"body":"had never seen before in the"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":279.0,"endTime":282.09,"body":"Scriptures about Saddam. But"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":279.0,"endTime":282.09,"body":"there are some other scriptures"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":282.12,"endTime":284.85,"body":"that counterbalance that, that"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":282.12,"endTime":284.85,"body":"talk about some other things."},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":285.48,"endTime":290.37,"body":"And this led us into the whole"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":285.48,"endTime":290.37,"body":"question of, you know, maybe"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":290.37,"endTime":295.26,"body":"this has to do with some other"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":290.37,"endTime":295.26,"body":"sub stories like what we talked"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":295.26,"endTime":297.78,"body":"about with the supernatural"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":295.26,"endTime":297.78,"body":"being is called the Nephilim. So"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":298.62,"endTime":302.76,"body":"that's why we ended up here So"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":298.62,"endTime":302.76,"body":"why did God destroy Sodom and"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":302.76,"endTime":305.88,"body":"Gomorrah is the question we're"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":302.76,"endTime":305.88,"body":"going to address. So that's, that sets"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":316.35,"endTime":320.7,"body":"the table for us."},{"speaker":"Dave Leake","startTime":321.21,"endTime":323.49,"body":"Yeah, I'm looking at"},{"speaker":"Dave Leake","startTime":321.21,"endTime":323.49,"body":"all these verses about Sodom and"},{"speaker":"Dave Leake","startTime":323.49,"endTime":325.68,"body":"Gomorrah, there's a lot of"},{"speaker":"Dave Leake","startTime":323.49,"endTime":325.68,"body":"verses about it's,"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":325.68,"endTime":327.72,"body":"it's, it's a theme"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":325.68,"endTime":327.72,"body":"throughout the Scripture. In"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":327.72,"endTime":330.84,"body":"fact, Jesus addresses it"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":327.72,"endTime":330.84,"body":"multiple times. And he's"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":330.84,"endTime":336.0,"body":"contrasting things. And he'll"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":330.84,"endTime":336.0,"body":"say things like Matthew 1015."},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":336.3,"endTime":339.42,"body":"Truly, I tell you, it'd be more"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":336.3,"endTime":339.42,"body":"bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":339.42,"endTime":343.26,"body":"on judgment day than for that"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":339.42,"endTime":343.26,"body":"town that wasn't recognizing his"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":343.26,"endTime":348.42,"body":"presence. So Kip hernia, he"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":343.26,"endTime":348.42,"body":"says, Matthew 1123, you'll be"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":348.42,"endTime":351.57,"body":"lifted to the Heavens, no,"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":348.42,"endTime":351.57,"body":"you'll go down to Hades for if"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":351.57,"endTime":354.63,"body":"the miracles that were performed"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":351.57,"endTime":354.63,"body":"in you had been performed in"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":354.63,"endTime":358.32,"body":"Sodom, it would have remained to"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":354.63,"endTime":358.32,"body":"this day. So Jesus refers to"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":358.32,"endTime":363.72,"body":"Sodom and Gomorrah as one of"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":358.32,"endTime":363.72,"body":"God's moments of judgment, that"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":364.35,"endTime":368.7,"body":"validates the fact that God will"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":364.35,"endTime":368.7,"body":"have to judge other places,"},{"speaker":"Jeff Leake","startTime":368.73,"endTime":371.67,"body":"right?
