It was the answer to"},{"startTime":145.04,"endTime":149.96,"body":"prayer. It was the moment of"},{"startTime":149.96,"endTime":153.98,"body":"great euphoria. It was a moment"},{"startTime":149.96,"endTime":153.98,"body":"of great victory. It was a"},{"startTime":153.98,"endTime":157.76,"body":"moment of expectation for the"},{"startTime":153.98,"endTime":157.76,"body":"future and vision. And then"},{"startTime":157.76,"endTime":163.66,"body":"there were also Christians who"},{"startTime":157.76,"endTime":163.66,"body":"saw this as a you know, scary"},{"startTime":163.66,"endTime":169.96,"body":"and you know, something to"},{"startTime":163.66,"endTime":169.96,"body":"grieve. I know, I know there"},{"startTime":169.96,"endTime":174.76,"body":"were some Christians who were"},{"startTime":169.96,"endTime":174.76,"body":"who were really needing to talk"},{"startTime":174.76,"endTime":178.3,"body":"through what their feelings"},{"startTime":174.76,"endTime":178.3,"body":"were. After that, many people"},{"startTime":178.3,"endTime":182.58,"body":"were both despondent and"},{"startTime":178.3,"endTime":182.58,"body":"frustrated. And so you have"},{"startTime":182.88,"endTime":185.34,"body":"here. So we here, we have"},{"startTime":182.88,"endTime":185.34,"body":"followers of Jesus who are a"},{"startTime":185.34,"endTime":188.58,"body":"part of this mix. And so that's"},{"startTime":185.34,"endTime":188.58,"body":"why we asked the question, like"},{"startTime":188.58,"endTime":191.52,"body":"we did, what do we do with"},{"startTime":188.58,"endTime":191.52,"body":"President Trump? Because we want"},{"startTime":191.52,"endTime":195.12,"body":"to now take a pastoral"},{"startTime":191.52,"endTime":195.12,"body":"perspective on it. We want to"},{"startTime":195.12,"endTime":197.4,"body":"take a biblical perspective on"},{"startTime":195.12,"endTime":197.4,"body":"it. We want to take an"},{"startTime":197.4,"endTime":200.3,"body":"empathetic perspective on it. We"},{"startTime":197.4,"endTime":200.3,"body":"take a historical perspective on"},{"startTime":200.3,"endTime":203.72,"body":"it and try to to navigate our"},{"startTime":200.3,"endTime":203.72,"body":"way through moving forward?"},{"startTime":204.08,"endTime":204.32,"body":"Yeah,"},{"startTime":204.32,"endTime":206.96,"body":"not everybody's gonna like this,"},{"startTime":204.32,"endTime":206.96,"body":"but the ultimately, the"},{"startTime":206.96,"endTime":210.74,"body":"responsibility of Christians is"},{"startTime":206.96,"endTime":210.74,"body":"to be unified as a body of"},{"startTime":210.74,"endTime":215.48,"body":"believers, and it's to have the"},{"startTime":210.74,"endTime":215.48,"body":"same approach, which I know"},{"startTime":215.48,"endTime":218.6,"body":"that's never gonna happen among"},{"startTime":215.48,"endTime":218.6,"body":"all nominal churches, but I'm"},{"startTime":218.6,"endTime":220.42,"body":"saying as as a Christian"},{"startTime":220.42,"endTime":223.36,"body":"movement. So Unity is different"},{"startTime":220.42,"endTime":223.36,"body":"from uniformity, right? It's not"},{"startTime":223.36,"endTime":226.18,"body":"that we all think the same"},{"startTime":223.36,"endTime":226.18,"body":"thing, but we are all unified in"},{"startTime":226.18,"endTime":229.6,"body":"that we represent a different"},{"startTime":226.18,"endTime":229.6,"body":"kingdom. We represent the"},{"startTime":229.6,"endTime":234.52,"body":"kingdom of God to this country,"},{"startTime":229.6,"endTime":234.52,"body":"and we represent the mindset of"},{"startTime":234.52,"endTime":238.48,"body":"worldview of Jesus. And we want"},{"startTime":234.52,"endTime":238.48,"body":"to bring that to bear,"},{"startTime":238.9,"endTime":242.7,"body":"regardless of who's in power,"},{"startTime":238.9,"endTime":242.7,"body":"which party wins, and we want to"},{"startTime":242.7,"endTime":247.56,"body":"make sure that we are, you know,"},{"startTime":242.7,"endTime":247.56,"body":"our first allegiance is to the"},{"startTime":247.56,"endTime":250.14,"body":"kingdom of God and to one"},{"startTime":247.56,"endTime":250.14,"body":"another as a part of the family"},{"startTime":250.14,"endTime":250.26,"body":"of"},{"startTime":250.26,"endTime":252.78,"body":"God. Yeah, and this, so I was"},{"startTime":250.26,"endTime":252.78,"body":"saying that though, because this"},{"startTime":252.78,"endTime":256.2,"body":"is true, regardless as to"},{"startTime":252.78,"endTime":256.2,"body":"whether you are you lean, you"},{"startTime":256.2,"endTime":258.6,"body":"know, liberal or conservative,"},{"startTime":256.2,"endTime":258.6,"body":"whether you're Democrat or"},{"startTime":258.6,"endTime":261.32,"body":"Republican or libertarian or"},{"startTime":258.6,"endTime":261.32,"body":"whatever else you are like,"},{"startTime":261.32,"endTime":263.78,"body":"regardless as to what your"},{"startTime":261.32,"endTime":263.78,"body":"political views are, or how we"},{"startTime":263.78,"endTime":266.66,"body":"should handle the border, how we"},{"startTime":263.78,"endTime":266.66,"body":"should handle foreign policy,"},{"startTime":266.66,"endTime":269.96,"body":"how we should handle the"},{"startTime":266.66,"endTime":269.96,"body":"economy, or dei or any of this"},{"startTime":269.96,"endTime":274.34,"body":"other stuff. I think the"},{"startTime":269.96,"endTime":274.34,"body":"responsibility of Christians is"},{"startTime":274.34,"endTime":277.22,"body":"to have a Jesus perspective."},{"startTime":274.34,"endTime":277.22,"body":"Yeah. So we want to talk about,"},{"startTime":277.22,"endTime":283.3,"body":"what is that Jesus perspective,"},{"startTime":277.22,"endTime":283.3,"body":"and how should we react and live"},{"startTime":283.3,"endTime":286.42,"body":"as both Christians, but also"},{"startTime":283.3,"endTime":286.42,"body":"Americans, because, you know, if"},{"startTime":286.42,"endTime":288.04,"body":"you are an American, you"},{"startTime":288.7,"endTime":291.34,"body":"you're a citizen with the right"},{"startTime":288.7,"endTime":291.34,"body":"to vote and right to participate"},{"startTime":291.34,"endTime":292.12,"body":"in the process, yeah,"},{"startTime":292.12,"endTime":296.08,"body":"and the right to try to enact"},{"startTime":292.12,"endTime":296.08,"body":"change, if change is necessary,"},{"startTime":296.08,"endTime":298.48,"body":"and all this stuff. So, so where"},{"startTime":296.08,"endTime":298.48,"body":"do we start? That's, I don't"},{"startTime":298.48,"endTime":304.02,"body":"even know where to start with"},{"startTime":298.48,"endTime":304.02,"body":"this. It's so broad. I mean, ah,"},{"startTime":304.92,"endTime":307.44,"body":"everybody know, if you're"},{"startTime":304.92,"endTime":307.44,"body":"listening to this podcast, you"},{"startTime":307.44,"endTime":311.34,"body":"already know why President Trump"},{"startTime":307.44,"endTime":311.34,"body":"is so polarizing. He said these things"},{"startTime":314.28,"endTime":316.56,"body":"and did these things and made"},{"startTime":314.28,"endTime":316.56,"body":"all these people angry, like"},{"startTime":316.92,"endTime":319.68,"body":"everybody knows or why he's so"},{"startTime":316.92,"endTime":319.68,"body":"loved, or, yeah, I made all"},{"startTime":319.68,"endTime":322.16,"body":"these other people happy. I"},{"startTime":319.68,"endTime":322.16,"body":"didn't finish my sentence there,"},{"startTime":322.16,"endTime":325.76,"body":"but I've seen so many, I mean,"},{"startTime":322.16,"endTime":325.76,"body":"Trump looking like Jesus"},{"startTime":325.76,"endTime":326.84,"body":"posters. Honestly,"},{"startTime":326.84,"endTime":330.02,"body":"I don't know that there's ever"},{"startTime":326.84,"endTime":330.02,"body":"been a politician in my lifetime"},{"startTime":330.02,"endTime":334.22,"body":"that is as loved as Donald"},{"startTime":330.02,"endTime":334.22,"body":"Trump. I mean, the level, there"},{"startTime":334.22,"endTime":337.28,"body":"was a great love for Ronald"},{"startTime":334.22,"endTime":337.28,"body":"Reagan. In many places, there"},{"startTime":337.28,"endTime":340.36,"body":"was a tremendous love for Barack"},{"startTime":337.28,"endTime":340.36,"body":"Obama, I would say, kind of"},{"startTime":340.36,"endTime":343.96,"body":"almost an awe and respect for"},{"startTime":340.36,"endTime":343.96,"body":"Barack Obama. There was that"},{"startTime":343.96,"endTime":346.66,"body":"same kind of level with Bill"},{"startTime":343.96,"endTime":346.66,"body":"Clinton. I don't know Bush ever"},{"startTime":346.66,"endTime":347.2,"body":"had that,"},{"startTime":348.22,"endTime":353.62,"body":"least not my bush, yeah, but,"},{"startTime":348.22,"endTime":353.62,"body":"but, but Donald Trump inspires"},{"startTime":353.62,"endTime":358.96,"body":"passion, yeah, on both sides,"},{"startTime":353.62,"endTime":358.96,"body":"rabid Rabbit. I think we could start"},{"startTime":374.58,"endTime":377.7,"body":"and say whether there was a"},{"startTime":374.58,"endTime":377.7,"body":"president Harris or President"},{"startTime":377.7,"endTime":382.16,"body":"Trump, and previously, when"},{"startTime":377.7,"endTime":382.16,"body":"there was a President Biden, our"},{"startTime":382.16,"endTime":386.12,"body":"first responsibility is to want"},{"startTime":382.16,"endTime":386.12,"body":"them to succeed, not necessarily"},{"startTime":386.12,"endTime":391.1,"body":"succeed in their agenda, because"},{"startTime":386.12,"endTime":391.1,"body":"that may or may not be something"},{"startTime":391.1,"endTime":396.5,"body":"that aligns with a biblical"},{"startTime":391.1,"endTime":396.5,"body":"worldview, but to succeed for"},{"startTime":396.5,"endTime":400.4,"body":"this country, like to do things"},{"startTime":396.5,"endTime":400.4,"body":"that are good for the well being"},{"startTime":400.4,"endTime":403.72,"body":"of The nation that we're a part"},{"startTime":400.4,"endTime":403.72,"body":"of, and in that we should pray"},{"startTime":403.72,"endTime":407.14,"body":"for them. We"},{"startTime":417.76,"endTime":420.66,"body":"should be praying for the kings"},{"startTime":420.66,"endTime":423.18,"body":"and those in authorities that"},{"startTime":420.66,"endTime":423.18,"body":"they would lead well, so that we"},{"startTime":423.18,"endTime":427.14,"body":"could all lead peaceful and"},{"startTime":423.18,"endTime":427.14,"body":"blessed lives right in and not"},{"startTime":427.14,"endTime":429.96,"body":"be caught up in unnecessary war"},{"startTime":427.14,"endTime":429.96,"body":"or strife or whatever"},{"startTime":429.96,"endTime":432.72,"body":"it's in. Either way it's happened,"},{"startTime":487.8,"endTime":489.96,"body":"either way, it's a good thing."},{"startTime":489.96,"endTime":492.78,"body":"Yeah, it's a good thing, right?"},{"startTime":489.96,"endTime":492.78,"body":"So if that be, if that happened"},{"startTime":492.78,"endTime":496.56,"body":"because Trump came into office"},{"startTime":492.78,"endTime":496.56,"body":"and negotiated it ahead of time,"},{"startTime":496.56,"endTime":499.2,"body":"or that happened because Biden's"},{"startTime":496.56,"endTime":499.2,"body":"administration did, or maybe"},{"startTime":499.2,"endTime":502.34,"body":"they both contributed to it,"},{"startTime":499.2,"endTime":502.34,"body":"either way. Sure that leads to"},{"startTime":502.34,"endTime":505.82,"body":"peaceful and quiet lives in a"},{"startTime":502.34,"endTime":505.82,"body":"region that's been filled with"},{"startTime":505.82,"endTime":510.62,"body":"turmoil for more than a year. So"},{"startTime":505.82,"endTime":510.62,"body":"praise God for that. It's those"},{"startTime":510.62,"endTime":514.04,"body":"kinds of things we we hope for,"},{"startTime":510.62,"endTime":514.04,"body":"regardless of who's in office."},{"startTime":514.1,"endTime":517.94,"body":"Yeah, that good things happen in"},{"startTime":514.1,"endTime":517.94,"body":"the world that are a benefit to"},{"startTime":517.94,"endTime":524.5,"body":"everyone. Yeah. And so we pray"},{"startTime":517.94,"endTime":524.5,"body":"for our leaders that way. Then I"},{"startTime":524.5,"endTime":527.68,"body":"think after that, the next thing"},{"startTime":524.5,"endTime":527.68,"body":"would be, is to look at our"},{"startTime":527.68,"endTime":532.9,"body":"leaders with the proper"},{"startTime":527.68,"endTime":532.9,"body":"perspective.
