Over the last couple years in Insiders, we have been talking quite a bit about legacy, about the impact that you are going to leave on people through your business, whether you are helping one or you're helping thousands. What sort of legacy does it lead? When you solve a problem for one person in one home, it most likely impacts that entire home and hopefully you're teaching something that they can then teach to their family members, to their children, to their grandchildren, whoever it might be. It's a legacy that you continue to pass on by solving the problem successful and one that we see as impactful. In what we are doing, we need to make sure that we are leading with integrity, that we are leaning into the niche that we're supposed to be working with, that we're not afraid to pivot or rebrand to make sure that the people that need us the most are really hearing us and learning how to improve and fix their problem really hearing us and learning how to improve and fix their problem.
Speaker 1:Now, I've seen a lot of people continue to cast wide nets. They want to make it so that they're for everyone, but the ones that are most successful, that are leaving an empowering legacy behind them with their business, are those that have niched are those who have gotten really specific about why they work with certain audiences and why they don't work with others. It becomes apparent in who they are speaking to, and their audience immediately qualifies themselves. Once they read a little bit of their content, or listen to a little bit of their content, they immediately connect with them and see themselves in what is being put out there. So, in order to lead with an integrity, you have to be true to what it is that your purpose is. Who are you trying to serve? Why are you trying to serve them? How do you continue to make their lives better and how can you incorporate this idea of legacy? How can you teach them to pass on what they are learning through you so that it will benefit everyone?
Speaker 1:Now I know, for some of you might be thinking what sort of legacy can I possibly leave and what are they going to be able to teach? Anything can be as simple as learning how to knit a blanket. Knit a blanket or how to go through and make sure that their garden is going to be have plenty of tomatoes for the summer. Whatever it might be that you're teaching to them in order to make their lives easier, can they also pass that on? And if they can, then that's the legacy that you're leaving. You're giving people an opportunity to continue to grow, to improve their lives, and that's what we need to make sure that we really hone in on focusing on how we are going to help them solve their problem, so that they continue to solve it and want to come back for us for whatever else their needs might be.
