Feeling stuck in your business? The final installment of our Reset to Rise series delivers the breakthrough you've been waiting for. Today we tackle the essential practice of rebuilding from alignment – that magical place where your actions flow naturally from your goals and create sustainable momentum.

The journey begins with a powerful mindset shift: replacing guilt with gratitude. When we dwell in guilt over past business missteps or delays, we remain trapped in a cycle of negativity. By consciously practicing gratitude for lessons learned and progress made, we free ourselves to move forward with clarity and purpose. This transformational approach connects directly to our previous discussion about overcoming guilt after setbacks.

Your business actions speak volumes about your alignment. We explore why randomly checking tasks off your to-do list without strategic purpose creates busy work rather than meaningful progress. The most successful entrepreneurs understand they're not behind some arbitrary timeline – they're exactly where they need to be in their unique journey. This perspective opens the door to pivoting toward audiences, platforms, or products that generate genuine excitement and better serve your vision for 2026 and beyond.

Product creation provides another critical alignment checkpoint. If designing your membership or program feels draining before you've even launched, that's a clear signal to reconsider. The most successful offerings energize both the creator and the client, providing value while feeding your passion. Sometimes gaining this clarity requires external perspective – trusted advisors who can read your energy and illuminate the right direction.

Speaker 1:

This is the third and final day of the Reset to Rise series that we've been talking about this week on Unhinged. Today we're going to be diving into making sure that we are rebuilding from alignment. We went through yesterday and did the three-step process to make sure that you're actually processing what it is that you are feeling and using data to really make sure that is actually the truth of what is happening within your business. So if you haven't done that, make sure that you go back to the three-step process. And then, of course, the first day we really talked about this whole idea of being able to look at acknowledging how you are stuck, and we gave you a journal prompt. But today we're going to talk about rebuilding from alignment, because we want you to get that excitement back where you have unlimited energy and want to continue to do certain projects and tasks within your business because they are aligned to the goals that you are trying to accomplish. And, of course, we talked about that a little bit yesterday. The first thing that we're going to want to make sure that we do is to replace guilt with gratitude, and it's interesting that, of course, we're coming back to this, considering last week I had an entire episode about the guilt that I felt over the golf cart flipping and how it was hard for me to move on because of that guilt until I replaced it with gratitude. So we're really going to make sure that we do this. The next piece is going to be making sure that our action is aligned with our goals. We're not just going to start randomly checking things off our to-do list if they're not in line with what we were trying to accomplish. You need to also remember we again we talked a little bit about this in another episode on A Hinge over the summer you are not behind. You're exactly where you need to be. It may just be time you may need to pivot. This might be the season where you need to pivot into that audience that you really see as your ideal customer. Or it might be the time to pivot towards the platform that is a better fit for what is working now and going forward into 2026.

Speaker 1:

We've talked a lot about this idea that you have to make sure that you are getting in front of your audience Can't simply be blog posts. It needs to be your voice. They need to see you. You need to give them an opportunity to truly get to know you, to understand how they are going to move through the customer journey, deciding whether or not you are the right fit for them and then actually taking that action. So you're going to want to make sure that, as you go through and do this, that you are pivoting towards what you feel the most energy from and is aligned with your customer that you are trying to reach, even if it's a different product. We've talked about this as well, that sometimes you have to pivot from that product that you thought was your signature product. It might be time for something different. It might be something that is really going to get you excited and energized and is a good fit for the audience and what they're asking you for.

Speaker 1:

Now, as you go to maybe design this new program, you also want to make sure that, when you were designing the program, that you feel excited about what it entails. If you are creating a membership and it sounds daunting and draining to you, that's not a good start. You need to make sure that it's something that you can get behind, that you can get excited about and know that you're going to be able to stick with, because it continually feeds you and supplies your audience with what they need. Because, again, if you're creating a product and it's something that you are charging for, it has to provide value for your audience. So you need to make sure that, when you are putting together the assets of it, that not only do you get the energy, but they are going to see the value in it.

Speaker 1:

And if it's not something that you're getting energized by, it might be time for you to take that out of the list. Maybe it's looking at it from a different perspective and talk to others to get a feel for it, because they can often read your energy and understand your business to know what might be the right direction. Now we've talked about this idea of reset and rise all week and I want to make sure that, if you are looking to make sure that when you step into 2026, that you are ready to rise within your business that you take a look at Insiders Retreat. I would love to have you there. We still have open applications. We are going to go to Merle's Inlet, south Carolina, in November and we will be creating your 90-day plan to hit the ground running in 2026.
