Struggling to make your marketing efforts pay off? You're not alone. Many business owners find themselves creating content without direction, hoping something will eventually stick. But as I often tell my clients who marvel at how easy I make marketing look – the secret isn't shortcuts. It's having a strategic plan.

The problem with most marketing approaches today is the disconnection between content creation and business goals. We produce blog posts, podcasts, and videos without clearly connecting them to how our products or services solve customer problems. This leads to scattered social media posts and confusing email campaigns that fail to convert. When you create with intention, understanding where your audience is in their journey and how you can guide them toward solutions, everything changes.

Strategic marketing eliminates the need for pushy sales tactics. When your content clearly demonstrates understanding of customer problems and offers straightforward solutions, people naturally want to work with you. This aligned approach – where content, social media, and email marketing work together toward a single purpose – is what separates successful marketing from frustrated efforts.

Ready to transform your approach? Join our Marketing Momentum Sprint (August 25-28) where I'll guide you through creating a clear marketing plan with practical schedules and actionable steps. No more throwing content at the wall hoping for viral success. Instead, build intentional marketing that consistently delivers results. Standard and VIP options (including group coaching) are available at JennyMelrose.com/marketing-momentum. Stop spinning your wheels and start building marketing momentum that actually grows your business.

Speaker 1:

One of the number one things that I hear from clients is that I make marketing look so easy. It seems as if it takes me half the time than it does anyone else, and often I get asked what corners am I cutting? What am I doing differently that others are possibly not looking at? And the honest truth is, I go in with a plan and I think that that's what most people are missing. We go in with this idea of marketing in our head, that marketing is social media marketing. We're going to put it out onto our socials. We are going to put out our content that we're driving out.

Speaker 1:

The problem is is that oftentimes, when content is created, it's not done with intention. It's not done with this idea of what are we trying to get people towards? How are we fixing their problem with our service or product that we offer? And because we're not thinking of that product or service, the content is then not in line with that. When you are creating it via that one specific piece of content whether that is blog, podcast, youtube and then what ends up happening is the social that we then promote is all over the place. It has nothing to do with maybe even the content, and sometimes definitely not with the product or service, and, in turn, our email marketing is a mess service and, in turn, our email marketing is a mess.

Speaker 1:

Everything that I do is done strategically, and I want to teach you how to do that. You need to place emphasis on knowing what it is, that where you are trying to take your audience. This is why, over the past couple months, we've been talking about this idea of a customer journey. Where are they? What problem do you solve? How can you bring them further along to help them solve that problem? So, when we are looking at this, we can make sure that the content that we are creating for them shows them that this is what they need. We know how to give them a solution. When you actually do that, it makes them say yes, it makes them want to know how to work with you. There's no questions left. There's no feeling like you have to be salesy and pitch things. Instead, people just want to be a part of your world and hear more from you, because they can see that you're going to give them a simple solution.

Speaker 1:

This is what you want, and in order to do that, you have to make sure that the content you are putting out is in line with the product or service that you offer, as well as the email marketing and social media that you are going to put out as well, is promoting the one piece of content are going to put out as well is promoting the one piece of content. If this is something that you struggle with and you want that clear-cut plan, I'm telling you get involved in our Marketing Momentum Sprint that I'm hosting August 25th through the 28th. It is going to give you that plan. It's going to give you a schedule. It is going to give you the momentum, the baby steps that you need to take to continue to move forward, to build your business, because you have a marketing plan that actually makes sense.

Speaker 1:

That's not simply just throwing spaghetti against the wall and hoping that people are going to find you, hoping that a reel is going to go viral or that a pin is going to take off. That's not what we're doing. We're being strategic and I'm going to show you exactly how to do that in this four-day sprint. So if you go to JennyMorriscom, forward slash marketing, dash momentum, it is going to get you signed up to be a part of that. We are doing four days. There will also be a VIP option for you to be able to get involved in, with a group audit and coaching as well. That would be Friday, as in addition to the four days that you already be paying for with the sprint. I cannot wait to see you there.
