In past episodes on the podcast, we have talked about pillar pieces of content. And we've talked about it in two different ways. We've talked about the idea of having different pillars of content on your blog, on your podcast, and also on social media. And we've also talked about the idea of content pieces doing the actual heavy lifting because it shows how your content then leads naturally into your product or service that you offer. Now, you know that recently we've been talking a great deal about how to make sure that you feel more confident when you are asking for the sale. When you create content based on these four pillars, it is going to be a natural next step so that you can stop feeling as if you are a sales car salesman and instead showing them that it's the natural step. So, what exactly are these four pieces of content that we're talking about? There's authority content, which is going to establish you as the go-to expert. You're going to give examples of you are going to have actual examples of how you can use what you are teaching in practice. You're going to have teaching posts. You may have myth busting. It's going to be behind the curtains, insights. This is going to help you build credibility so that your audience trusts your recommendations. This is where we're doing more of the teaching side of things. The second is going to be connection content, where you're going to humanize your brand. You're going to use a lot more storytelling and showing how the problem that you offer is going to provide them value and is going to provide them with a solution. You can also, in this type of content, share customer journeys of clients or students that you have had go through your product or service to show the direction that they have gone in. And it what it does with this type of content is it builds relatability. They end up feeling that you get them because you've helped others along the journey, because maybe you yourself have gone along on this journey. The third piece of content is going to be problem-aware content. Now, this is going to call it the pain point that they're experiencing. So you may be telling them if you've ever felt stuck, if you've ever wondered why, this is how you're going to start it off so that you can then build urgency and then they see themselves in the problem because you're telling them, hitting on the pain points that they have. So this is where you're able to take them to the next step naturally and then show how you have the solution to their problem. The fourth piece is going to be solution bridge content. It's going to show how your offer solves their problem. You're going to maybe provide case studies or client results or step-by-step previews of your course or product or ebook, whatever it might be. This is going to help build clarity. They're going to see your offer as the natural next step. Now, this is a brief overview of the four types of content that you can be using so that you can show them that it is the obvious next step for them so that you can stop feeling like you're asking and start feeling like you're guiding them. The confidence that's going to come from knowing your content already does most of the work for you. Now, if you are wanting to be able to walk away with these four pieces of content solidified in how you're going to put it out, then you're going to want to join in in the four days to turning visibility into sales challenge. You'll walk away with them ready to go. So your offer never feels pushy. Instead, it's going to feel natural and confident.
