Big goals are exciting; unfinished plans are exhausting. We’re pulling back the curtain on the retreat takeaways that turned lofty intentions into a 90-day plan you’ll actually finish, without dropping the daily work that keeps your business alive. If you’ve ever set too many targets and then watched your podcast, client delivery, or email list go quiet, this is the reset your calendar needs.

We start with the three-goal rule and why capping your focus creates more output than adding more ambition. Then we map each goal into projects and small, shippable tasks that fit inside your real week. You’ll hear how we schedule operations first—clients, content, sales, team routines—so the plan reflects your actual capacity. From there, we layer in projects with clear definitions of done, time estimates grounded in experience, and buffers for reviews and roadblocks.

We also dig into seasonal planning. January to March might be heavy on renewals or delivery, which means smaller, high-leverage goals can outperform a risky launch. We talk through list growth strategies like list swaps and speaking, while still protecting production for content you rely on. You’ll learn how to track dependencies, reduce context switching, and use simple weekly reviews to ship on time. And if accountability is your sticking point, we’ve built in live co-working and worksheets so you can ask questions, get unstuck, and leave with completed work—not just good intentions.

Want hands-on support? Save your seat for the Vision to Plan Intensive the first week in December and let’s map your next 90 days together.

SPEAKER_00:

As I said yesterday, I am sharing some of my biggest takeaways from Insider's Retreat. And if you're not familiar, we worked on our 90-day plans in person for four days where we really dove into it, made sure that we knew the tasks, the projects that went along with it, and actually mapped them out to know exactly when they're going to be completed and when they need to be done by. So if you are someone that really wants to have that 90-day plan and you weren't able to make the insider's retreat in person, we are going to be doing a virtual vision to plan intensive the first week in December. It will be one hour each day for four days where you'll get a lesson, a worksheet that will go along with it. And then within that hour, we're going to be doing a co-working session so that you can ask questions and get it done. No more being given the homework and telling me the next day that your dog ate it. Instead, I'm going to hold you accountable on that video call to actually get it filled out so that if you do get stuck, I am right there working with you to get it completed. So if you haven't already saved your seat for the Vision to Plan Intensive, you're definitely going to want to do that. Go to the description and save your seat now. So let's I want to talk about the next biggest takeaway that I had from the retreat though. And in doing this, what I realized is that oftentimes we create 90-day plans. We have three goals max. That's all you're ever allowed, in my opinion. And when we write those goals, we then look at the tasks that are going to be done with them. And I think we often what happens is we forget that we'll we still need to run our business. We still need to do the things that may not be part of our goals. So let me give you an example. One of my goals is to continue to increase my email list. And I have all sorts of projects and tasks that are gonna go into that. Some of them include doing list swaps, some of them are trying to speak at different conferences to make sure I'm attracting my ideal audience. There's all different types of tasks that I'll be doing for that. Now there are everyday tasks that I still need to continue to do in my business, like my podcasts, that are not necessarily directly connected with continuing to grow my email list. I still need to continue to produce my podcast. So in having that as part of an everyday task, part of my weekly task, my monthly tasks, it isn't necessarily part of my goals. And I think that that's something we often forget that yes, you're creating these 90-day plans and you're only giving three goals. And like I told you yesterday, the goals do not be need to be huge, impactful, monumental, mind-shifting ideas in your business. But instead, it just needs to be sometimes to complete something, whether it is that course that you've been waiting or the opt-in that you've been working on. And the reason why these goals cannot be all mind-bending and changing of your business is because you still have to continue to run your business and do the everyday things that are part of your business. I still need to see clients, I still need to run masterminds, I still need to write my emails to my list. So you have to keep that in mind when you are writing your 90-day goals, that you actually, when you are planning it and putting it into, okay, I'm gonna be doing this week one, I'm gonna be doing this week two, that you have to be doing other things within your business as well. So this is why it's really important that when you choose your 90-day goals based on how busy you are from that time of year, January we're talking about 2026 to March of 2026, what does your schedule normally look like, personal and business, so that you can plan accordingly when you are plotting out your tasks and figuring out how you are going to meet your goals? Now, again, this can be something that can be extremely overwhelming because you know you want to hit your goals, but how do I determine how long something should take me? And how do I put it into my actual schedule that I'm using weekly? If you are someone that could use the extra hand holding and you are not able to make insider's retreat, then I want to make sure that you join the Vision to Plan intensive. I am going to be there with you. We're going to complete worksheets and like I said, we're gonna have co-working sessions so that you can ask the questions that you need to ask and actually get it done rather than taking in the information and then never following through and getting the work done. So save your seat, join me that week for the intensive.
