Exclusive access to premium content!Feeling like your hair is on fire while your to-do list grows longer? We’ve been there, and today we share the one question that cuts through noise fast: does this move me closer to profit, or just make me feel busy? With Q1 already underway, we walk you through a clear, lean path to refocus your 90-day goals, streamline your content plan, and make confident moves that compound.
We break down how to turn scattered marketing tasks into a measurable buyer journey. Starting with strategic content that solves a real problem, we show how to guide the right audience toward a targeted lead magnet, nurture with purpose on your email list, and present an offer that naturally feels like the next step. You’ll learn why platforms that compound—your website, email, and YouTube—should anchor your plan, while social plays the role of a feeder, not the home base. We talk practical metrics too: opt-in rates, open and click-through rates, and conversion checkpoints that tell you exactly where to optimize.
Overwhelm often hides the simplest lever: focus on one offer and build a weekly cadence that supports it. We outline a repeatable rhythm—one cornerstone piece, three distribution snippets, one list email, and one direct ask—paired with dedicated sales blocks that keep revenue work front and center. If you’re feeling too close to your business to see the path, we invite you to get outside perspective and map the next right steps with us. Business owners often come to me when they are overwhelmed. They feel like their hair is on fire, they're spinning too many plates, they're dropping things, they're forgetting things. And that is normally the time when they have the least amount of confidence. They don't know what path to take, they don't know what step forward to take. And in this new era, 2026, I am offering one question that I want you to ask yourself. And it's is this moving me closer to profit or just making me feel busy? I want you to start examining that when you are going through specific tasks that you have decided are part of your 90-day goals. If you were at your 90-day goals in November for Q1, we are almost through the one-third of Q1, right? We're almost towards the end of January, is the end of this week. So because of that, I want you to look at the tasks that you've put in there and make sure that that question really does sit home. Is it making you feel busy or is it bringing me closer to profit? And many of you, we have talked about the idea that it can be a long haul when you are building up your website, when you're building up SEO, when you're interlinking content, trying to create that spider web for people to be able to find you and to then purchase your products and services. So I really want you to think about what you are going to be doing to make sure that it's not just about being busy, but it's about moving closer to profit. Thinking about where am I ultimately trying to go and how I can get there. Now, if we talk about profit, we talk about the idea of having a product or service. So in order to have that product or service, what do you need to do in order to warm people up to the idea of that product or service that they need to purchase from you? Well, most likely you need to have content that you are creating for them so that you can make sure that you are getting them onto your list and then offering the product or service that fully solves that problem. So I want you to really start thinking about if I'm creating content, is it done in a way that is strategic or is it done in a way that's just meant to attract people that are you're not looking to nurture? Is it being done on social media or is it being done on your website, YouTube, things that people can actually use? So I really want you to start taking a look at what it is that you're doing and start to make these strategic steps forward. And if you're not sure, because let's be honest, we are often way too close to our own business. I want you to book a discovery call with me. Go to jennymellers.com. You're gonna see that there's an opportunity to book a free discovery call with me. And let's talk about the path that you need to take and see what programs or services I can provide for you so that you have that clear path and you can confidently move forward in your business towards more profit. This is the time to be doing it, to be able to look at what do I need to do for the rest of 2026? Not six months from now, nine months from now. Let's really look at it right now. You're confused, let's get you on a path that makes sense.
