Exclusive access to premium content! What if the fastest way to scale isn’t hiring, but teaching AI to think like the teammates you wish you had? We walk through how we stopped being the bottleneck and started building a small “AI team” with clear roles, rules, and outcomes—so work ships faster and stays on brand.
First, we map the mindset shift from using AI as a brainstorming assistant to treating it as a trained specialist. You’ll hear exactly how we define a role for an email marketing expert: three to four sentences plus a PS, a pain-led opener, a tight promise, and a clear call to action. We explain how we load audience profiles, product details, and content links so the model reads first and writes second, keeping context accurate and voice consistent.
Then we break down a separate sales email specialist that handles short promo windows. We share the cadence and content of high-performing sequences—tease, story, proof, urgency, and last call—and how we anchor each message to real benefits and objections. From there, we extend the approach to full sales pages with a reliable structure: hook, problem framing, promise, mechanism, proof, offer, risk reversal, FAQs, and CTAs. With a few iterations saved into custom GPTs or Claude skills, you can return any time and produce assets that need only light edits.
We also cover the practical setup: why paid plans matter for saving custom configurations, how to keep role checklists for consistency, and when to split responsibilities across multiple specialists. The result is a lean system that preserves your voice while reducing cycle time and context switching. If you’ve been waiting to hire before you launch, this approach helps you move now, learn faster, and invest your energy where human judgment has the highest leverage.
If this was useful, follow the show, share it with a builder who’s stuck in the bottleneck, and leave a quick review so more founders can find it. What role will you train your AI to master next?

SPEAKER_00As business owners, you often will realize that you end up being the cog within your business that gets things stuck. So, in order to get past that, you potentially have to start thinking about how do you delegate, how do you build a team. Well, I want to shift your thinking. You don't necessarily have to hire. You could use AI to help you with these tasks so that you're not the cop. You're getting through it, you're passing it on. You are getting it done that much faster and having more time. So, in the past, you've heard me talk about AI and how I see it as an assistant. I'm gonna ask it to help me brainstorm. I'm not gonna ask it to write specific content. I'm not going to ask it to design a course. That is still going to be all me. I'm gonna ask it to brainstorm an outline, and then I am going to create the content based on that outline because I already did the keyword research. I know that this is what people are looking for. So I'm gonna make sure that based on that outline, it's specific to my people and what I believe and have seen works. So when we are looking at AI, in order to become an assistant, that is what I have done in the past. Now, what I'm starting to do is actually starting to see AI as a specialist, wearing specific hats for me within my business. Now you can do this within ChatGPT, you can do this within Claude if that's what you're using, whichever AI platform you're using. In ChatGPT, you're gonna use a custom GPT in order to do this. And that custom GPT you want to think of as that specialist. So if you had an email marketing specialist as a person within your business, what would be the things that you would need to tell it in order for it to be able to handle that job on its own? And that custom chat GPT becomes that email marketing specialist. So I would need to make sure that it understands how often I'm emailing my list, what I want the content to be based around, what structure do I want my email to look like. As many of you know that are on my list, my emails are short and sweet to my people. They're normally three to four sentences with a PS. Well, those three to four sentences also have a structure within them. They ask a question by hitting on a pain point, then they talk about with a very, very short summary of how the content I'm trying to send them to is going to answer that question or pain point that I've asked in the first sentence. And then I'm sending them to the content. That's the call to action. I'm trying to get them there. So there is structure to the way in which I email my people, and I've always written it this way. I find that I want my people to say, yes, this is meant for me. This is what it's going to help you with, how this content is going to actually solve that problem, and then go get it. Go read it, go watch it, go listen to it, go do the things. And then my PS, depending upon what I am doing, will either quickly summarize and have a call to action within it in order to grow the content that we've already talked about in the past three sentences, or I might be, if I'm running a promotion on one of my products, I might have that as part of the PS. So there's structure. I'm gonna teach this to my custom chat GPT that is meant for my email marketing specialists. I'm also going to make sure that if I haven't already told them specifically who my audience is, that I do that. I'm very specific on who it is, what they are trying to improve upon, and I'm gonna make sure that it already has the information about my products and services and the content and how it connects to those products and services. So that when I ask it, because it now has all this back information, I can go in, provide it with an article, and tell it, read this article, then write me an email that I have already trained you on on how to write. Write an email for for me, for my audience. Now, the URL that I'm providing it with is normally to one of my articles that has the blog post, that also has the YouTube video in it. So I'm telling it beforehand, read it first, then write me that email. And then that's my custom chat GPT for my email marketing. Now, if I wanted to have it so that that is my more like I send out three emails a week, it's normally to content on my website to continue to engage my audience. Now, if I wanted to have sales emails that were going, that would for me would be another custom chat GPT that talks specifically about what type of sales emails I want to write, what how many, and to what product for what length of time. And it already, of course, would have all the background information about my audience. You always have to make sure that you've already told it that at least once. And I'm hoping that if we're talking about custom chat GPT for sales emails, you've already done that. But once you do this, now anytime I have a product that I'm doing a mini launch for or I'm doing a promotion for for a shorter window to get it back in front of my audience, all I have to do is go in and say, okay, based upon the sales sequence that I have taught you that is part of my sales marketing in order to do promotion for a product, I want you to write me a sales sequence for this product. Read this sales page, provide it with the URL, and then write me four or five, however many sales emails I have already trained it to do, so that I can send these to my list in order for that promotional window to work. That would be also a custom GPT that I would have for myself. That now I have one for email marketing and I have another one for sales email marketing. You could do this for everything within your business. Running sales pages, specifically teach it what you want to have on a sales page, and then go through and provide it with information about the product, who it's meant for, where they are in your funnel, if they're in the very beginning, if they're towards the end, if they already have other products and services, and have it create that sales page. And then once you get it to a point where the sales page is coming out the way that you want it to, you have tweaked it, that becomes another custom chat GPT. So I want you to start taking this from beyond an assistant and thinking it as a specialist, but you have to create these custom GPTs. Now, if you are on the free chat GPT program, you're going to need to want to do, you're going to want to do the paid because that way it will save those custom GPTs for you so that you can just pop back into them at any time. Claude is going to be similar. Now, Claude doesn't call them custom GPTs, obviously, they call them a little something different, but it's still, I think they call it a skill. I believe that's what they call it in Claude. So you'd be creating a skill that would also be a specialist, just like we just talked about with GPT. I want you to start really thinking about we my listeners have gone from seeing chat as something that could kind of help brainstorm to becoming more of an assistant that knows more about your business and really understands it, to now becoming specialists within specific pieces of your business. This is where you take your business to a next level. And instead of having to delegate and pay someone else, you're using ChatGPT, Claude in order to help you do it.
