Exclusive access to premium content!Q2 can feel like a fresh start, but the fastest way to grow isn’t to hustle harder, it’s to get clearer. We’re sharing the exact questions we use to review the last 90 days so we stop guessing and start planning with evidence. If you finished Q1 feeling energized in some areas and completely drained in others, this conversation helps you sort the signal from the noise.
We walk through a practical quarterly review that highlights what worked, what didn’t, and what was quietly costing you focus. That includes taking an honest look at the numbers you set, why “missing” a target doesn’t always mean you failed, and how to set realistic goals based on your audience size, engagement, and conversion patterns. We also talk about midstream pivots, shiny object syndrome, and why a simple “parking garage” for new ideas can protect your 90-day plan without killing your creativity.
From there, we zoom in on energy management and momentum. You’ll hear how to identify what drains you, what feels like it’s clicking with your audience, and the biggest bottleneck that’s slowing your business right now. We finish with seasonal planning, because your goals only work if they fit the reality of your calendar, client demand, and life responsibilities.
If you want a clearer 90-day plan, better quarterly business goals, and a calmer path to growth, press play. Subscribe, share this with a friend who’s planning Q2, and leave a quick review with the one question you’re using to reset your next 90 days.
Q2 Start And 90-Day Plans
SPEAKER_00Q2 started last week. And I know you do not have to have a 90-day plan that goes exactly by quarters. I know that some of you start your 90 days in different spots, but no matter what you are doing right now, I want to make sure that if you have completed your 90-day plan from Q1 and you're looking to refine and define your vision, knowing exactly where you're going for the next 90 days, I want to give you some questions to walk yourself through. So the very first thing I want you to ask yourself is what worked from quarter one? What did you see was actually fueling you, giving you energy and money at the same time? And then I want you to look at what didn't work. Be honest. What did you feel like just fell on its face and wasn't quite what you're expecting? And this isn't a matter of looking at it as I didn't hit my numbers, especially if your numbers were a little large and someone, me, might have told you that your numbers were a little high and you came down a little bit, but you were still a little crazy with the numbers that you put out there. And here's the thing that you have to understand. Sometimes when you create your numbers for what you are expecting to hit and you've never done it before, your number is gonna be a little high. And that's okay. You have to figure out what is realistic with your audience, with the list that you have, with the way that you have been engaging them and the way in which they're going to convert moving forward. I also want you to ask the question: where did you pivot midstream? Was there a spot where you felt like you kind of went with a shiny object and it took away your focus? And be honest about this because pivoting can often be an issue if it's not part of your 90-day plan and it's going towards a goal that isn't part of the plan for the quarter that you're working on. And then I want you to ask your question of what drained your energy. Be honest here. I actually went through and did this for myself and then went back and said, yep, I definitely still felt really drained with this. And it's don't know that it's the right path for me in whether I should be focusing on this as a way in which to get content out there when I know that there's a much faster way for me to do it, especially when I'm looking at seasonally what I'm going into. So it's something to really start to look at. What drains your energy? And then what created momentum? Where did you feel like this is working? This is clicking, this is exciting. I can see that my audience really is excited about this. And then, if you're being honest, what was the biggest bottleneck in your business right now? What kind of felt like I did this, but I wasn't really sure where I wanted to go with it? I want you to reflect on these, journal, walk yourself through these before setting your goals as you are moving forward for your next 90 days. Because if you can answer these questions for yourself, I think you're going to see that there's a couple different things that maybe you thought you were going to continue to focus on, but you need to shift a little bit and take a look at what might be next. We've talked about in the past that it's important to have a parking garage where you can put shiny objects in to look at for the upcoming quarters. I want you to do that. Now, as you go to plan the next 90 days, I also want you to be realistic with what you have going on seasonally and within your life seasonally. So if we are walking into a quarter that's normally very busy for you because clients come to you more often, they're needing more of your help, then you have to make sure that that is planned. Or if maybe your family is in need right now of more of your time and energy. So make sure that you are looking at all of this when you are setting your numbers and setting your goals for the next 90 days.
