Episode 20: The Reality of Grief During Unexpected School Closures
Show Notes

Join Professional School Counselor, Beth Pelc, and I as we discuss the impacts school closures have on educators. There is a real sense of grief and loss, especially with shutdowns occurring with little notice. Students and school staff alike are grieving the loss of rites of passage, graduations, school concerts and what has been normal routine for so long.

Beth and I discuss the stages of grief as how it relates to this specific time of sudden school closures, a "new" normal and how we can process these feelings.
