Welcome to a quick overview of coaching automation. And you know, what's really been interesting is we have been talking to companies about coaching automation. So what is coaching automation? It is literally automating the coaching process. You know, there's this old cliche you can't be in two places at one time. I actually disagree with that. You can actually be in two places at one time and facilitate coaching.
Speaker 1So let's say you're a leader of 10 people and you want to improve the fiber of teamwork and you've got some people who are negative. You've got some people who want to be future leaders and they're pretty positive. And then you've got some people in the middle of the road who haven't decided of their attitude or their mindset just yet. So here's my question how would you coach all 10 of them? What if you could send out weekly thoughts, quotes, lessons, videos, coupled with coaching questions? You want to ask driving self-awareness, driving a positive mindset, driving the fiber of the teamwork, driving the fiber of the teamwork? What if you could do that as a leader or your leaders could do it without any in-person time? See, the difference between coaching automation and artificial intelligence is pretty simple. Artificial intelligence is driven by a prompt. Coaching automation is really driven by the questions or the answers we want to know about our people or the actions we want them to take. Now, just recently, in the last 90 days, we've been working with clients, automating sales lessons, automating the onboarding of new employees, and we're using coaching and automation together to drive that.
Speaker 1A really great case study is we actually shared this with a leader who was new to management. She was nervous about management. She was nervous about being perceived as a good leader and typically within the first six months, people make or break their leadership careers by their first time leadership position. So what we did is we automated the coaching process their first time leadership position. So what we did is we automated the coaching process. And what we did is we focused on really good things, such as who's a teammate that exemplifies this video, who's a teammate that represents this quote, which are some of the automation lessons that we sent.
Speaker 1So when you send content, you then couple it, you combine it with questions and after about three to four months, the HR manager came up and said man, she is doing a fantastic job, and I said you know, we've automated something. She goes yeah, she was telling me. She said do you do that with onboarding. I said we're doing it with two clients right now. See, coaching automation is automating the process of coaching without the physical presence of a coach. Now that does not mean we should not be present and coach. You know, one-on-one or in our teams we need to coach, we need to have that personal connection. Yet if you can supplement it with coaching automation, what you're ultimately going to do is accelerate talent development and retention.
