The Tuesday vibes show 16th of March 2021 with on Death
This week on the #Tuesdayvibes show we discuss death...
We've all felt the impact of loosing a loved one. When we think of our own death it brings up alsorts of feelings, emotions and responses. Although most religions have rites of passage for the dead, their teachings about death itself are few and far between.
Religions' vagueness and mystery surrounding this subject is reinforced by death being a taboo topic and death is still hidden in many cultures.
The Buddha himself described death as the 'the greatest of all teachers', 'the sickness' and the most important example of impermanence.
Everything changes, we know that everything around us is changing. Our mind changes from moment to moment.
But our mind operates on fixed ideas.
For example good people will never act badly and a new car should not break down etc. And this difference between
the fixed thoughts of mind and changing reality causes all the problems of
non-acceptance that we have.
This week on the #Tuesdayvibes show we aim to #raiseyourvibration by talking about death and the benefits of an awareness of our mortality.
Join Amanda Joy Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Director of Studies The Northern College Of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Tara MC Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT) and Psychotherapist as we look on the bright side of death.
