The Wednesday Wellbeing show 31st of March 2021 with Paula Hynd
This week on the #wednesdaywellbeing show I'm chatting with Paula Hynd.
Paula is a highly specialised certified Rapid Transformation Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist, trained by Marisa Peer at her London School of RTT Therapy.
She worked with Marisa’s company More Than Enough in 2020, managing 120 RTT therapists globally and directing the team that provide services to clients within Marisa’s Find A Specialist Therapist team. This company is based in LA and provides therapy services to clients globally.
She is a trained clinical, sports and research dietitian and has more than 20 years clinical experience within the NHS at a managerial, expert and leadership level.
She has worked in specialist fields of Diabetes Reversal, Gastroenterology, Liver Transplantation and Renal Medicine and Surgery, Endocrine disorders, with children and adults in inpatient and community settings. She has produced many protocols and guidance for NHS patients and staff, conducted large scale research and improved services clinically in the field of liver nutrition, intestinal failure, metabolic disease including diabetes and mitochondrial disease.
Paula was a Senior Researcher within the Welcome Trust Centre for Mitochondrial Disease in Newcastle producing the first global nutrition guidance on mitochondrial disease (a rare genetic disorder). She also was Research Associate and Dietitian for the worlds’ first research trial which proved that Type 2 Diabetes could be reversed with weight loss, in Newcastle, England, UK.
She is trained with Counterweight UK, a member of Lowcarb USA, a Health Professions Council registered Dietitian and licensed RTT therapist. Paula also gained life coaching qualifications from US company Achieve Today (Salt Lake City), and completed their authorship programme – book on the way!
Her main area of specialty is using RTT therapy and diet to reverse type 2 diabetes and put it into long term remission.
She is a mum first and foremost, has raced bikes for many years internationally and internationally and when not riding her mountain bike or walking on the North York moors, is a passionate foodie who adores travelling and reading.
