When we begin an adventure of ANY kind we must have an initial plan and the willingness to adapt or you are just left digging blind. Whether it be a health or fitness journey, building a business, or just a personal goal...
You don't need to have every step planned out. In fact, if you try to do that you will never move forward or take action. Know the end goal. Create a starting plan and just begin taking action. The next step tends to present itself as you go, but you must be willing to study, test, and adapt to what your adventure needs.
