Out in Isingiro District, on the rolling hills that host the Nakivale Refugee Settlement, something powerful has been happening. Village Health Teams and clinic staff have made it their mission to know every pregnancy. They visit homes, talk to families, and write each expectant mother into a register - tracking due dates, danger signs, and follow‑up visits. The idea is simple: if we can find mothers early, we can act early. And when we act early, we save lives.
