It's a very active area with sailing, rowing and kayaking on the Forth, a vibrant artistic community and a strong sense of identity which makes it slightly separate from the other parts of Edinburgh. Edinburgh Tool Library is coming to Portobello. For the first time, local people will be able to borrow those expensive tools they might otherwise have to buy. The first session will be this coming Monday.
