There is a wonderful verse in the Bible, 1 Peter 3:18 - "For Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God". Yes, Christ has suffered the momentous judgment of God against sin, opening the way for repentant sinners to avail of God's great gift of salvation.
