Ever notice how a tiny flicker of defensiveness can take over a whole room? We start with a simple family Bible study and follow that thread into the heart of spiritual practice: dropping the need to be right, relaxing the body, and letting forgiveness do what debate can’t. From there, we unpack projection with clear, grounded examples—approval seeking with a parent, the urge to “save” someone at our own expense, even a playful moment with a thermometer reporting whatever the mind expects.

I share why true guidance arrives when we stop striving and start relaxing, and how “spiritual family” isn’t a club but a felt alignment that lifts everyone involved. We look at sickness and pain as symbols without causes in the world, and we reframe prayer: not “send peace over there,” but “help me see truly right here.” When we withdraw causes from the world, fear loosens its roots. Miracles become involuntary recognitions that none of the story’s content is ultimately true, and actions flow naturally—sometimes offering help, sometimes setting clean boundaries—without guilt or self-sacrifice.

We also wade into charged territory—politics, punishment, even the question of forgiving the unforgivable—to show how judgment boomerangs as self-attack. “Turn the other cheek” becomes a demonstration of invulnerability, not submission. The throughline is authorship: you’re not at the mercy of events; you’re meeting your own projection and choosing again. That choice is simple and immediate: defend the illusion, or rest in the love that never left. If you’re ready to trade striving for serenity, pity for joyful giving, and argument for true communion, this conversation offers a practical path back to peace.

Aloha and welcome to Wisdom Dialogues with Hope Johnson coming to you from Bullhead City, Arizona. And if you're watching this video, this uh the photo in the background is a good depiction of Bullhead City, Arizona for me. River and casinos. There's also beautiful mountains and clouds, apparently. A lot of my family lives here. My mom lives here, and her husband, and my aunt, my mom's sister, and my little sister Felicia. And then I have some other family that's close by in Las Vegas. So I've been having lots of fun with them. I even got to attend a Bible study of my mom's, which was just really sweet. You know, it's like there's a sense that there's a lot of dogma because there's defending a book, basically, the Bible. And uh something in the Bible says something about if you add one word to this, uh I don't know the exact quote, but if you add one word to this, something bad is gonna happen. So that was the reflection that I got. And what I can see in that when I recognize uh like defense of any kind, any form, any form at all, is noticing where we tend to become defensive about anything that seems to uphold our self-image, and that's really what defense is all about. We're trying to protect a self-image, it's never about uh getting to the truth because it's coming from fear, defensiveness is always coming from fear. That's why it's awesome to be able to check in with the body's energy field and notice where uh this is calling for love. Let's say calling for forgiveness. So if I were to get to get offended and become defensive, too, of you could say my book, let's say it was a course in miracles, because a course in miracles has been a major uh spiritual practice for me, and it's something that I teach and stuff like that. So if you have two people in defense, two people defending their own beliefs or their own form of what they think is right, there can't be any communion. But it just takes one person to be in communion. You could say to be in holy relationship, and that's just embracing your own experience. Like when you get the perception, oh, someone's defending a concepts, a concept, and you're aware of your body's energy field, you know you don't need to get defensive to. It's obvious that that is not going to be helpful, but when you're unaware, the knee-jerk reaction is to become defensive, even become defensive, you know, to uh someone saying that what you're doing is actually harmful, right? It's actually uh leading astray, you can say. Um, it's not really uh it's not really the highest spiritual thing that there is, you know, like anything like that. Um you know, and our spiritual practice, our spirituality, our relationship, you could say our relationship as God with the self of form, which is basically everything that we made, including the images of the people in our life and everything like that, being in relationship with them really means being in being in relationship between God and the created. See, because in this illusion, you are as consciousness relating with form, so you have all the power of God relating with form to not get involved and embroiled into any kind of conflict with the sons of God, anyone in the sonship. There's just no reason to get into any conflict. So, what it came down to in the Bible study, you know, one thing that there was a total agreement on, and the way it ended too, was whatever it is that allows us to release our burdens, that's perfect. Whatever it is, and you know, there's different stages as far as stages of learning, too, and no one's really ahead or behind. It's not like that, it's just one movement in consciousness, it's really just one movement of awakening and consciousness, and it's always changing and transforming, but always giving us exactly what we need to see through the illusion. So any kind of thoughts that arise that say, this is wrong, I don't want it, I didn't make it like this, you know, I had the perception uh of wow, my mom doesn't even see what I'm sharing. Like, wow, she doesn't even see what I'm sharing. And, you know, to me and to the people that uh uh that they get what I'm you could say, get what I'm sharing, pick up what I'm laying down, you can say, it's very, very clear. The message is very clear and very simple, and it leads to freedom in an instant. So when it comes to any thought like that, what like why don't they, you know, why don't why don't they show me it's irrelevant? It's actually irrelevant, it's not about that, it's about how you it would experience that. Would you experience it as a small self that needs someone to transform in order you for you to feel better? Or would you experience it as the creator, which you're not separate from the creator? So even if you still perceive yourself as separate from the creator, that's okay. Um, and it and really that's okay. You just look at it like this the creator gave you the power to create just like him. You could say that. So if you see yourself as a limited individual, that's a misperception. The creator gave you the power to create just like him, which involves a relationship in joining with the truth. So when we join with the truth, we can see and we can help everyone else to see too that the relaxation is really what's called for here. It's not like some kind of battle of philosophies, you know. That doesn't matter. Uh it doesn't, it doesn't really matter even if someone believes that they're going to hell. Let's say someone believes that they're going to hell, okay? Uh, because they did so much bad stuff. Uh, and and here's the thing that happens in the unconscious, unwatched mind. Thinking that there is a place, hell, where you are sent if you do wrong is an indication that in your unwatched mind there's a fear of going there in yourself. And that's the whole reason why there's projections of people who are apparently bad or sinful or wicked. Wicked was the word that I heard. Yeah. And it's true, the ego, you could say the ego is wicked, and at the same time, it's also uh not anything that has power over anyone. So even to perceive the ego's wickedness, which is like strategies to try to get something for itself, judgment, murderous thoughts, all of that, to see that and recognize that it has no power at all is to see it truly. And then it just looks kind of funny. It just looks kind of bizarre that the ego would uh think that you would actually be able to gain anything by following that train of thought. See, so it goes back to recognizing everyone's inestimable value, everyone's inestimable, inestimable value in terms of awakening. Because when we're recognizing that, we're actually able to extend what's true. So it's kind of like we have to see past first. This is why forgiveness is so important, because forgiveness helps us see past the illusion that someone is attacking us. Okay, any illusion that uh that uh someone is attacking us. So oftentimes when we interact with our family members, we get the sense that we are being attacked. And that's because it's a habit to do that. Okay, there's perceiving something that's familiar and it for and it triggers a memory of a bad feeling. And so it's our habit to do that. It's not because, oh, they're just shitty, that's just the way that they are, and that's the way they're always gonna be, and everything like that. No, one thing that my mom shares and shared in her Bible study is that hope lives this. You know, my mom says, hope lives this, what we're talking about in the Bible. She actually lives it from day to day. At the same time, some of what hope says is there's a real there's a real split there. There's a some of what hope says is wrong, you can say, just to put it in a short, uh, short way. That's the that's the perception I get. Some of the stuff I say is wrong and even kind of crazy and uh, you know, off the rocker. And there was even some uh some mention of some higher-ups actually controlling the information that I'm getting and sharing with everyone. So uh so there's there's like you notice that there's a split there because there's this recognition that I actually live the Bible, but apparently I'm talking something that's not uh really true. So that that's fun because that's usually the opposite. Usually you're talking and not living it. So, you know, that's fun. Um, having also having that interpretation, you know. And um yeah, I can't really think of anything that anything in particular that would give her that impression except demonstration through uh just living that there's no blame, you know, there's no there's no blaming anyone. Um, there's no uh there's no shame, there's no second guessing, there's no self-consciousness, right? Self-consciousness meaning like conscious of the way uh you look in a way that's like I don't want people to see me, they might think this or something like that. Um, and that's something that you know is uh seems to be present in my family tree. Um yeah, and you know, forgiveness is a thing because there's been some things that you know, from my mom's point of view, that that that would be very hard to forgive. But she saw that forgiveness is really just no problem, it's not a burden at all, it's a release, it's a relief that I don't have to hold that. It's a relief that I don't have to hang on to any idea that someone in the family did something to me. Yeah, and it's a relief to be be able to uplift. One thing is, you know, just uh being present to whenever anyone is ex exhibiting, you can say, exhibiting or experiencing suffering, you know, letting them know, just pointing to the truth, like with my mom is the kind of thing that she can handle, which would probably be okay for anyone, is you know, you don't really need to do anything, but be your happy, joyful self, and everything else is taken care of. Everything in the world is taken care of. You don't really have to do anything because there's a sense of burden that comes through a lot of people, um, especially our family members, I'm sure a lot of you can relate, will be uh quick to let you know about what's burdening them because they're close to you. So your just awareness that what they think is burdening them is actually their choice, and the experience of it is perfect for them. And from there, you can be guided on what to say. That's the thing, just allowing the words to come, uh, you know, for the first time you do it, it's probably like, oh, I hope what comes out is okay. But you don't even have to do that, just watch what comes out and embrace whatever feeling arises around that. When you embrace that feeling, that teaches you number one, it's okay. You're learning, you can be happy about this, however, it goes. Uh, you're learning how to join with someone so you can experience together the love of God. That's what we want all the time. We want to join and experience the love of God. See, and no one has to agree to do that, no one has to agree to join with you in experiencing the love of God. They've actually already agreed when they agreed to be created. You can say it's an agreement, you can look at it like that. The creator created a son, you can say, to know himself. So when you're created, when you agree to be created, you agree to know God. That's the purpose of your creation, and that's your perfect happiness. So once you made the thought of separation into a reality for you, now your world is peopled with all these people that are reflecting separation. So the way to bring them back to wholeness within yourself is to recognize the truth about yourself, and that's all and and that that also entails recognizing the truth about them, you see, because there's only one of us. The separation is something that we made. So if we can't see the truth about them, we can't see the truth about ourselves, and that's like God punishing us. It is, it appears like God punishing us. Now, I noticed that what people take as guidance from God is guidance on what to do in the world all the time. Okay. But what to do in the world is actually just arising from your willingness to relax. So if you seem to not do that thing that you seem to get a message message about to do, that's only because you were not willing to relax. It's not because you were not willing to strive, okay? Because the ego is always striving, like to get it right, knowing that you can't get it wrong because even your expression is the means for undoing the thought of separation, even your expression. So that means even reactions, let's say negative reactions, even if you do tend to lash out at someone, let's say, that's still your experience. You made it, it's perfect for you, it's perfect for everyone. No one can get an experience of you that they didn't call forth. Okay, so it's never up to you to try to change your own behavior, it's always up to you to see differently. And in seeing differently, and part of seeing differently, is that all of your behavior and everything you say is perfectly helpful 100% of the time, it's the truth because no one that's perceiving you can get the perception that they got of you without that coming from them, without it being a manifestation of what they thought to be true about themselves. Now, if you look at it and you go, I would like to embody more grace. Okay, good to know. Actually, that's known by you before you even put any words to it. Before you even put any words to it. I would like to embody more grace. So when you see that, you just notice, oh, good to know. That means that's a trajectory. This is going according to how much I'm willing to relax. The more I'm willing to relax, the more it is going toward uh being more graceful in my perception. In my perception, see, including uh all of my actions, all of my words, right? In my perception, because that's the experience that I'm having. Now let's talk about perception because you know sometimes people uh mistake like what what is what is this perceiving, right? And perceiving is all of the thoughts that you projected outward based on separation, reflected back to you. That's what perceiving is now. See, so much of experience is overlaid with an with a narrative that equals false perception. So then the feelings can't be embraced because the narrative is taken as something that's meaningful. It's as if we need to listen. We need to stop and listen to the ego's narrative. And if we're not listening to the ego narrative, that's where it allows some space for truth to come in. And not listening doesn't mean push it away. That's the thing. It's not like we want to push it away, we're looking at the ego's narrative and noticing what it's doing, the habitual strategy to try to keep us hooked in the game. In that instant, when you're aware that it is strategy, it's having no power over you. See that you can remember to laugh, laugh at the ego strategies because it's just trying to live. The ego's just trying to live, and you know, one reason you're laughing, it's not because the ego's dying. We're not killing the ego, it's not like that. There never was an ego to kill. Ego is really an energy that's set in motion, energy of thought, and that's set in motion, it's a thought of separation. So all thought tries to live, it goes forward and tries to live. So it's not evil or bad, and in fact, ego uh what underlines ego is love, it is perfect love. The energy that comes to sustain the ego is perfect love. So, what happens to that energy that goes to sustain the ego back to perfect love? So the ego really doesn't exist. It, what we set in motion like a program, is trying to keep its existence, always fearful, and you know it's always fearful of you knowing what's true because you will have no use for the ego. That's truly what it's fearful of. That's why the ego is fearful of love, fearful of loving like God. God loves past all of the illusions, all of the behavior, all of the uh the constellation of bodies that are drawn together and drawn apart and uh orchestrated in these ways for maximal healing benefit. Even the reasons you think you leave anyone, let's say uh leave a job, leave a relationship, leave a town, anything like that, even the reasons you think you do that are not true reasons. This is orchestrated. You're only being orchestrated in relationship, in interactions with those who are the most beneficial for awakening the entire sonship for for you, for them, and to all, because it's all consciousness. That's the reason why. At the core of all of us, we're exactly as God created us, and the core is the reality. What we have circling, these particles circling around, the beams of light that we are, are projected particles, and we're in relationship with the projected particles, so we can relate with all particles no matter what kind of relationship a person seems to want to have with us. We can relate with all particles, doesn't mean we have to uh be in relationship. The way I look at it is I'm gonna be in relationship. Uh you know, I'm I'm in relationship with all, of course. Uh, but in the world, you can only interact with so many people. So I'm gonna be interacting with the ones that are of most benefit to the awakening. And that's how it is for you, too. It can't be another way, even if you think, no, I don't want to interact with them, I'd rather interact with this person. So, whatever your resistance is, uh, your resistance to interacting with that particular person will be taking you onto other interactions for releasing your resistance to that kind of energy more and more until you can interact like that. You can interact with that kind of energy. There's no energies that need to be pushed away. You know, I've heard some uh pretty outlandish things, you know, uh just listening to whatever it is that's on people's hearts, you know. A lot of times they're gonna say some outlandish things, like there's evil spirits, you know, like there's um bad people in the world trying to get you, right? And to me, that's outlandish because of knowing that all things that are being perceived are coming from the perceiver. So it seems insane to me to make anything that I perceive out to be any kind of threat since I made it. Since I made everything, I'm the author of my experience. The way I'm authoring it at this point in time is anything that I see that seems to be a threat, is a misperception, it's an effect of thinking that something real, my being, could be threatened. So then it manifests a body that seems to be uh subject to the world, but even the body, even the physical form, can only be subject to the voice of spirit, which gives us all of the uh energy, and you can say uh health that we need, all of the sustenance, all of the means to do the will of God, which is aligned with our perfect happiness. Notice when what you know it's it goes back and forth, doesn't it? It fluctuates according to certain perceptions. You know, if your mind drifts to some event or circumstance in the world or in someone else's life or as in your own life, whenever it wanders like that, it comes with an upset feeling. That's an indication right there that that thought that you're thinking, that thought that you're following, does not have your best interest in mind. Look, if it doesn't have their best interest in mind, it doesn't have your best interest in mind either. Notice when you're upset with a person, the ego will throw out thoughts, how uh they're leading themselves to doom. They're leading themselves to some kind of destruction. Whatever they're doing is gonna have effects. Nothing we do can have any effect, it's only thinking. The thoughts that we take as truth manifest as form. They come as circumstances, they come as events, they come as people, they come as feelings. These are the messengers. So being grateful for the messengers, gratitude to the messengers. So there's an idea that the ego loves that you need to get better at something. Maybe you hear this message and you go, everyone needs to know about this. I gotta do something about it. Anytime you have a burden on your heart, you just need to be released from that. Let the doer the doership, the doing take place from a state of relaxation. Whatever it is you seem to do. And remember, even all of your reactions, all of your interactions, all of your words, let them be used as proof that you're beyond them. You're actually beyond all these things, and any experience is an experience that's right for you. From time to time I've had people share with me that some experiences shouldn't happen. Like I shouldn't have to go through bankruptcy, let's say. The system is rigged. Yeah, it looks like that to me too. It looks like the system is rigged, but it's more like the system is rigged. Yay! The whole system is rigged. It's a reflection. We're not meant to win at the ego's game. We're not meant to even play the ego's game. And you know, we do that in our mind when we believe that things are uh truly there affecting us. That's playing the ego's game. So it's constantly trying to manage these different things that could occur for safety. Notice that it's all for safety around this body, and our safety is truly in our being defenseless to the world, not in trying to defend ourselves. This is a mental movement, it's not in the behavior. A lot of the times people hear me say this and think that they should leave their doors unlocked or something. None of that stuff really matters, it's just an effect. What you want to do is see that when you are locking a door, this is just a symbol. My true safety is in my defenselessness, being defenseless to the things that seem to be threatening in the world. And the reason for that, the reason for the defenselessness is that your sight gets transformed and you see nothing as a threat anymore. When you're recognizing that you're the author of all of your experience, then nothing's a threat anymore. Whatever the ego talks, the narrative that's about the story, you don't have to pursue any of those thoughts. You could just see that they don't mean anything. You're here for the visceral experience. Let's say it's shame or embarrassment or something like that. Ah, let it come. Many times people just picture a memory, and that memory will bring on a certain feeling. This is very common. Picturing a memory, and a memory brings on a certain feeling, and immediately what the ego does, if you're not aware of it, you just get taken by this, kind of like a train. The ego goes, Oh no, no, I don't want to feel that. And tries to distract. And and a big part of the distraction is you go on to a thought train about that circumstance, situation, memory, person trying to work it out. Trying to avoid that feeling. They just come out. And it's not like I'm not interacting with that person in anymore. I'm not interacting in that way anymore. I'm not interested in playing that dynamic anymore. That's not a dynamic to for me. So as long as that person wants to play that dynamic, that's not that I'm not being called to. Uh the term spiritual family came up for me. The term spiritual family. Um, and that's like, where are we sharing frequencies that work that bring in light? Ah, that's beautiful. Let's interact more like that. See, it's beautiful, and we can come together like that. And it's not a matter of excluding any any of the other frequencies, and we don't really need to be interacting with all frequencies. See, uh, because it's one thing. So what we see together, when we're hanging out together and we're uh we're in a similar frequency, we're constantly uh, it's almost like we're climbing in consciousness, soaring in consciousness, receiving the goods for the whole world. There's nothing that we have to do to go out and spread this message. It's a matter of coming into the knowing again and again through this relationship that we're having. So the reason why I mentioned this is because I notice self-sacrifice being a thing on the spiritual path. And I even noticed this in my own self before, where, you know, I've gotten a message that, you know, you're done with this dynamic, you have you've seen through this dynamic, but then there's a thought that says, this person needs me for their spiritual growth. So anytime you see where there is a sense of sacrifice for someone else's spiritual growth, that's not it. And I noticed just from going through that again and again, okay, that this is why the dynamic is continuing. You know, even after I saw, oh, this is the this dynamic, it's not really uh it's not really calling me. Let's say it's not really calling me. Um, but what's calling me is this idea that this person needs me for their spiritual growth. And, you know, each dynamic like this is unique. So it's always a sense of this deep listening. What is the most fruitful? So for me, going through, continuing to relate with a person, you know, for the main apparent reason because they need me spiritually. Once I saw through that belief, the interaction stopped completely. Because that particular thought was reflecting an idea that love includes sacrifice. So when that idea was no longer necessary, that form of interacting was no longer necessary either. And it was just dropped. It was just like the obvious next step. Okay, so it's like whenever you seem to be in a dynamic and you're not sure what's going on, you keep on interacting with this person. You're going, this doesn't really feel good, real feel good. Interacting with this person doesn't leave me feeling uplifted. Right. Um, and you know, that's always that's always coming from you too. Whether you're interacting with this person is leaving you feeling uplifted. Let's look at that, okay? Because whether whether you it when you interact with someone and it doesn't leave you feeling uplifted, it's because you're not seeing something and not being authentic with yourself. See, I would find myself even uh verbalizing to another friend, I know it's like this in this dynamic, but he needs me, so I'm going. And when it was recognized, the Holy Spirit's got him, there's no need, all of a sudden, the whole need for the dynamic fell away. And that's that's uh kind of like a picture, like a microcosm about how the whole world falls away, about how all interactions that aren't reflecting your perfectly loving heart. See that interactions are not necessary, they become unnecessary. Interactions that are not reflecting your perfectly loving heart become unnecessary once you see through the underlying cause of these dynamics. So the people are all orchestrated just to show you where you have something that you believe is unmet, and you allow that to be met by the love of God. Also trying to get approval. I notice that I notice that action in my mind, especially uh being around my mom, you know, noticing I don't have her full approval. That's what the apparent appearance is, anyways, that I don't have her for her full approval. You know, uh, even a comment was made that I'm good at speaking, so it's easier for you know people to be led astray by me. So, you know, the having a perception and watching the mind try to go for that approval. And it's like, oh, I don't need her approval, all I need is to rest in the acceptance that everyone's experiences are perfect for them, and then uh non-approval, approval really are the same thing, right? They're really the same thing, they're really just showing you a reflection of your own thoughts. It's like, where do you uh believe that you need approval? Let's say that. Where do you believe that you need approval? You need more approval. You're already approved of by God, you are already created in the image of God, like God to create. What other approval do you need? Also, the movement in the mind to try to uh separate, make it as if something's wrong. Someone, in this case, a family member is really is great timing for this because Thanksgiving's next week. A lot of people are gonna be hanging out with their family, I'm sure. It's as if that person is attacking. That's really the sense that is that that the energy field reflects. It's like that person is attacking. So whenever I get the sense that person is attacking, I know their self-attack, their self-talk. It's making it so that I can't have fun, so that I can't play with that. It's like, oh, mmm, they don't approve. Diana made a comment here. Master in love. Uh, last time we were on an ACIM deep dive, we were doing the mastery of love. All needs are being met. So even by the perception of non-approval by a family member, all your needs are met. So a quiet thank you within yourself so that you can recognize your reaction. Notice your reaction. I like to notice my reaction in just a really playful way because I don't identify with it at all. I get the perception that I don't have full approval. I have a lot of approval, apparently. Uh, I just don't have full approval. So I get the perception I don't have full approval. I'm recognizing where my approval, even beyond approval isn't even the word, um, where the perfect love for me actually comes from. It doesn't come from my family, it doesn't come from anything I've projected. The only love is the love of God. So when there's an upset feeling, I get the perception I'm not fully approved of. That's my opportunity to see that that person is helping me know to accept the love of God right now. It's a call for love from our own mind to accept the love of God right now. So then it's like, oh, okay. Isn't that like, well, if you don't approve of me, if you're gonna make it like I'm uh harming people and leading them astray, then that means this. See, the ego just wants to take everything, err. Wind it all up, stir it up, make it into someone's doing something to you. But no, I just reflect back, just like with my kids. That's okay. Sometimes uh sometimes you seem to be really sweet to me, and other times it seems like you're pissed at me. It doesn't change anything for me, it's the same for me. I love you. Does it mean we might be hanging out less? Yes, it does. Because naturally, I'm drawn to those who are in my spiritual, uh, my spiritual family for the most part. There are times when I interact with different frequencies, but for the most part, I'm interacting with those who are members of my spiritual family, you could say. And that's always changing. And you know, I I say that as a way of pointing because really everyone is in our spiritual family. We're just one mind, we're really just one mind. Like I said, in the world, there's only so many people we can interact with within the illusion of time, there's only so many. So it's like taking care of the connection. Let's say taking care of the connection to source, your awareness of truth, your awareness of who you are, taking care of that. Opening up, we don't choose anything in the world, even who we're gonna interact at interact with, but opening up to pure freedom. So I had a sister share with me that she really doesn't like her partner, and I go, Well, you know, you don't have to stay with your partner, you know, because that's a thought that you have to, and she said, I don't I know, I just don't like to see him cry. I think it's been many years in the illusion of time, maybe like 10 years, of not wanting to see someone cry. So continue to hang around with them. I can relate, I can totally relate. We're making that a factor. I'm gonna keep on interacting because I don't want to see them cry. So it's as if there's some sacrifice in love. And see, it's not a matter of whether you should or should not leave a such a situation or a person. It's what concepts are holding you prisoner? What concepts are denying your freedom to join in truth? What concepts are making it as if you have to do something that depletes you. That depletes your energy, let's say. Not that you can really do anything that depletes your energy. But it's the idea I really don't like being with this person. Yet I have to because I don't want to see them cry. See, and that could that could be anything. I really don't want to go on that trip, but if I don't, people are gonna think like this about me. See your reasons, they deny perfect freedom right now. What is perfect freedom though? That's joining in truth, that's recognizing the truth of who we are, the truth that we all share. And that's receiving the love of God right now. That's what joining in truth is. You know, when you get a uh a perception of pain, someone reflects that they're in pain, emotional or physical pain. The way to join in truth is not to make them wrong. What the ego will rush to do is make them wrong. Or make them a victim of something like uh like genetics or um make them a victim of the world, or make it just you know, just make it as they've done something wrong. They haven't taken proper care of themselves, let's say. They went out uh and interacted with a bunch of people that seemed to be sick at the time, and they shouldn't have done that, for instance. Even agreeing that contagion is real, even in your mind. Oh, they caught that over there, they caught that disease over there. But recognizing the mind is all power and giving all power back to the mind allows seeing our power. Really, we need to see our power and recognize our power to create our experience, and that's what we've been doing. We've been, and this is such a new age thing to say, too. It's just that it's not really recognized as a practice that you apply through the particulars of your life, you create your own experience. The same goes in heaven as on earth, which you know, earth is basically what we call earth, um is basically like an overlay, it's concepts superimposed over heaven, so we can't see heaven. It's like our mind is taken up by these concepts. So to acknowledge heaven is to be willing to see it, the truth of who we are, through the illusions that seem to be. So the way that looks, like you know, in my experience, I had a family member just this week uh say that they're sick and having a thermometer right next to them and checking their temperature all the time to see, you know, I'm sick, uh I'm okay, I'm still sick, it's still this temperature. And it was so fun because, you know, at one point I took it. I wanted to see what my temperature was. The first temperature reading, it was like a hundred and one. It was like, whoa, 101. And then each time I use it, I get a different number, a different number come up, you know, and you know, just playfully just noticing this is reflecting mind. It's all it all it is is reflecting mind, just reflecting concepts. And I love that for me, it's so playful. First thing is I got a fever, apparently. 101 is kind of a fever. Um didn't get any other kind of sense that it was a fever, but uh that seemed to be the case. But it's simply, you know, I didn't tell her anything about uh her being uh her sickness really being a defense against the truth or something like that, you know. Which, you know, that's that's the thing when you're ready to see it. Um, that that sickness is a defense against the truth. It doesn't mean you're wrong, and that includes pain, emotional pain, and physical pain. It doesn't mean you're wrong. Uh and that's the ego's trick to tell you look, this is proof that you defend against the truth, right? Well, you're not really capable of defending against the truth, you're dreaming of defending against the truth. Maybe that'll give you like a little bit of distance from what the ego's speaking to you, right? Uh, you're not really capable of thinking against the truth, but you wanted that to be the case. So it seems like you can do that, right? So nothing's wrong. Uh, it's just reflecting back through my own mind, not through trying to make my interactions anything, but through my own mind that the sickness is a defense against the truth. And it's okay. This too shall pass, right? And just in my recognizing that it is a defense against the truth and it has no roots in reality, it actually helps loosen it up. It actually helps loosen it up for the person because you're not agreeing with them that they caught it somewhere in the world. You're actually returning all power to their own mind. So they don't have to be afraid of sickness. Um, and you know, when I get the sense of any symptoms, which I haven't had a sense of any symptoms, well, actually, there is a fleeting sense of something scratchy going on, uh, maybe like about a month or two ago. And immediately it's just recognizing, I was just recognizing that's what I'm projecting right now. It has no cause in reality, and then it was gone right away. So, what I've seen a lot of this where the the apparent sickness will lose its roots, it'll just lose its roots because in me, it has no uh it gets no nutrition, let's say. And the nutrition is making causes in the world, justifying sickness as if it has any cause in the world. And in fact, one thing a Course in Miracles talks about, and which I love too, even our thoughts do not have power as sinful as the thoughts may be, and you're listening. This means listening to the ego thoughts. When I say your thoughts, it's the same in the Course in Miracles too. When it's talking about your own thoughts, it's talking about the ego thoughts that you habitually listen to. Okay. So even if your thoughts aren't in tune with the spirit and are attacking yourself, the effect in the imagination, what we can we can perceive effects, the perceived effects are not real effects. They're only real to the perceiver. So even sinful thoughts, listening to ego thoughts that attack your worthiness, basically, result in fearful manifestations. Those things have no truth or meaning in reality. So that gives us the power to see past any illusion that says this person's negative thinking caused this symptom. You see how that's a guilty projection. Because to be able to perceive, to even perceive, to even have someone tell you that they're sick or they have a sickness, that's gotta be coming from you. You can't get the perception that anyone else is sick or anyone else is in pain unless that's coming from you. So it's in your recognizing that they don't really have the power to hurt themselves, even with listening to ego-driven thoughts. That really doesn't have the power to hurt them, it's only just believing in the truth of it that will allow us to have any kind of perception like that. That can be wiped away instantly, and even if they don't perceive that their symptoms have changed, the gift is still available to them in their mind. It's automatically extended to them the knowledge that they're all powerful and they're making this illusion just so that they can see and undo an underlying self-judgment that they want to be released from. Ah, Akahi, thank you for joining. I'm so glad you're here. Thank you for sending me love from Hawaii. I love that. Thank you. Glenn says checking body temp is tricky. Apparently, the bum is the best spot to check. That's how you know if you have a hot ass. Okay, Glenn. Yes, there was some conversation about that as well. Oh, there was. So, in the event that there's an experience of some kind of sickness that entails taking rest, allow that too. Just be embracing the thoughts, the feelings, the sensation, and recognizing that they're coming from you. Embracing is different than pursuing an ego thought, isn't it? Look, one ego thought, you got this because you ran yourself ragged. You worked too hard. If you believe that, you make yourself more vulnerable. If you simply embrace that this is the thought being presented right now, then you can recognize right away that's not a meaningful thought. That thought has no real effects, and the more we see that no thought has real effects, the more we cannot tolerate illusions. Our mind doesn't tolerate illusions, and this is in a positive way. That it doesn't tolerate illusions because eventually we'll see right past any sickness and alleviate all kinds of pain, whatever pain people are projecting. The only way to do that is to see that the projection, what we're perceiving, is projected from our energy field. And it's not up to you to alleviate their pain or their sickness. It's up to you to remember the truth. When you remember what's true, pain and sickness is alleviated in your mind, making it less likely, less possible that it be projected from your mind even onto another person. So people can be healed just by being in your presence in that way. Because you wouldn't make their sickness true. You wouldn't join them in attacking yourself in attacking themselves, knowing that that's truly an attack on yourself. There's no other way. One uh family member asked me uh if Hitler was on his deathbed and he asked God for forgiveness, do I think God would forgive him? And I said that would be up to him to accept the truth. God's judgment of us is always perfect. We're the perfect holy son of God, totally loving and totally lovable. There's nothing you can apparently do in the world to change that, but your mind is very powerful to believe that you don't deserve it. It can do that, it can believe in that thought, in that meaningless thought. It can't really think that thought. That's why it's a projected thought. Your mind can believe that it's powerless and make that its illusion. Make it the truth for the mind. Because illusions are true to the mind that believes it's separate. For instance, my neck pain, my diabetes, right? My liver disease, whatever it is. You know, you get to start in the first place. Your body isn't here as it seems like it's here. It's perceived. That means that your mind is making a whole body that has biological functions, reactions, apparent needs, apparent tendencies. Right. And it could be very useful. It's meant to be very useful. Whenever we get the perception that our body isn't quite good enough to serve our function, which is extending love, we close down. Our energy field closes down. The body is always perfect for serving for true service. Letting you could say letting the Holy Spirit use it. However he sees fit. Instead of you deciding what you want to do with it, what you want to get with it, for instance. So Akasha has a comment here. Thank you. B Lie B E L I E is coded in the word believe. I love it. It's the opposite of knowledge and wisdom, and she the way she writes that is wise dome. I love it. So we've been taught to regard lies as truth and the truth as untrue. It's like I'm entitled to judgment. I'm entitled to keep my judgments. Because God would judge this guy, let's say over here, Hitler. God would definitely judge him. God would withhold forgiveness. See, he he was expecting an answer that said God would withhold forgiveness because that's what uh he feels like of course God wouldn't forgive all those murders, but God doesn't see like a human like that. God doesn't see any murders. All God sees is his perfect creation having gone astray, gone on a trip of separation, and is experiencing terrifying things. God, whose will is perfect happiness for his son, does not withhold forgiveness from anyone. And when we withhold forgiveness from anyone, we automatically believe that we're guilty and we fear punishment. That's why the mind made of a place called hell. It's a way to avoid that fear by sending other people there, people who are worse than you. You know, inside the ego's rejoicing. Because the ego's been guilting you the whole time for your own behavior all this time. But thank goodness there's a guy like Hitler in history, he can go to hell for me. That way I don't have to go. She says, exactly, poor Eve, quote unquote Eve, believed what the serpent ego said, that eating the apple could ever be a source of guilt or shame. Remember, after she ate the apple, the certain serpent was like, Oh, now you did it. God is pissed at you. Now you're in trouble. You better hide. Because God's pissed now. That now you know the difference between good and evil. But the thing is, good and evil, knowing the difference between good and evil, that's false knowledge. And you can say Eve is still eating the apple. False knowledge. That was confusing to that particular family member that God would be forgiving of Hitler. And it was kind of like, well, no God that would forgive Hitler is my God. I know God's judgmental. And you know, and and it's funny because the words are it's not judgment. The words that are coming out, they're saying it's not judgment. God just does these things to people. God just does these bad things to people because he's helping them. But it's the ego that's saying, you have crossed God, you have destroyed the Garden of Eden. Now God wants to kill you, and then there's all kinds of evidence, apparently, if God created the world of separation, for one, there's death in it, there's murder. Eternal life. And there's no break in your creation. You keep creating, even while you're perceiving a world of separation and making illusions over your perfect creation, your creation is still ongoing. It's just that you don't see it. So that's why uh bringing illusions to the truth, seeing that your illusions are not true, is the way to true seeing. You're not really changing anything because what we perceive to be here that isn't as God created it is not here. It's not in existing, it's not as in existence, it's a misperception. So when there seems to be a misperception, what all we want is our perception to be cleaned. But even just thinking that anything is actually there is an opportunity for cleaning the perception. I'll give you another example because one of my friends, I was doing a radio show with a friend. I have been doing two radio shows actually. I've done uh two weeks in a row, and I have another one coming up on Sunday. It'll be Sunday at 10 a.m. Hawaii time or 1 p.m. Uh Arizona time. I guess Pacific time is noon now, um, on Sunday. And on the first one, there was at the end of it a prayer for a blanket of peace over Gaza. Okay. So I noticed that. And first thing I noticed, I was like, wow, that really doesn't resonate with me. I'm not feeling resonant with this to do a prayer for peace over Gaza, specifically. You know, um, it's one thing if I feel called or I feel a nudge from the Holy Spirit to specifically pray. Uh, but even in a prayer, the true prayer would be to help me see, help me see this differently. Why am I getting the perception right now that Gaza is not at peace? It must be my projection, it must be my interpretation. So, all prayer would be to see things truly. Asking for a blanket of peace over Gaza is already to assume that the suffering that you perceive, how do you perceive that suffering? You probably watch the news. I don't know. I don't watch the news. I have no idea what is apparently going on over there, which there's no there's no place or anything like that. It's all coming from me. So the prayer in my mind is to see clearly, is to recognize the value in everything. So then we had a conversation about that later, and um, you know, my first thing was um, yeah, we don't choose our own miracles, we don't decide where the miracles need to be given. I perceive them not being at peace, so I want them to be at peace. Uh, the miracle being called always is to see things differently, and the true prayer is for this true seeing, this Christ vision. That's what changes everything. Not deciding, let's make a miracle for Gaza right now. Miracles are meant to be involuntary, they're an effect, they're an effect of forgiving illusions. So, as we're not forgiving our illusions, say, uh, you know, maybe you watch the news. I don't know. You watch the news, you read the new news online or something like that, and it says something's going on over in Gaza. And you get the sense, oh shit, something's wrong. That's where the practice comes into play. That's where you're recognizing that what I've made of this uh apparent place called Gaza, which I'm projecting as if all these people are suffering. What are they doing over there? Killing each other or something? What is the story? That comes from me. So I want to see it differently. See, no one's suffering in reality. They may have the experience that they're suffering. People, people in Gaza are everywhere, really. It doesn't really matter where they seem to be. Um, people get the experience that they're suffering. Always. How do you help them? Use forgiveness to remove the blocks to love, the blocks to your knowing the love of God, so you're not adding to the suffering. Whenever you get released from suffering, that releases the world. Whatever release from suffering you get, you're releasing the world. So it's like, okay, okay, that's the way it is. All right, I see that. And then the next thing, uh he sees something. I think it's in a course in miracles, it says pray without ceasing. That's also in the Bible, too. Pray without ceasing. But in the Bible and in a course in miracles, Jesus teaches us how to pray. He already knows that the Holy Spirit, God, already know our apparent needs. The Holy Spirit knows what we think we need. We don't need to pay for pray for our needs to be met. That's the minutiae that's automatically taken care of when we find ourselves in true prayer, which is the prayer to see things truly, to see rightly. And you know, big part of seeing rightly is just in recognizing that what you're perceiving, you're projecting. And for me, I'm I'm not trying to correct anyone's mind. It's just I'm recognizing that this is not true prayer. This is not how I pray. Because to say that you want peace for anyone is already to say that they're not at peace, and you cannot hang on to that illusion that they're that they're not at peace and somehow make them at peace. You already made them not at peace. It's not true, they're just kidding. They're playing a game. Everyone's playing a game, it's like a video game. We're like characters in a video game. They're reflecting to you. They're suffering. Oh, this is so bad. Someone in your own experience might reflect to you. Gosh, since uh, I don't know, I did everyone get their EBT? I heard something about people weren't gonna get their EBT, but let's say they didn't. Oh gosh, things are so bad now that I didn't get my EBT. I don't have anything to eat. So in recognizing, they're just kidding. They're sustained by the love of God. They're just kidding. They may be fooling themselves too. But you're not getting fooled by this. You're recognizing that they're always sustained by the love of God. This doesn't mean you wouldn't help them, even hand them some money in the dream. It doesn't mean that. It's whatever you're whatever you're inspired, whatever the Holy Spirit would have you do. That's what you're gonna find yourself doing. Recognizing the truth in our brothers isn't meant to be used as a reason to not help them in the perception, it's not used as a reason to not offer help. It's not like that. If you're called to offer physical help in a physical form, money, food, whatever, make them dinner, teach them a skill, I don't know. Whatever is called, that can just be done without judgment, without the idea of sacrifice, the kind of giving that uplifts, the kind of giving that demonstrates we're equal, we're equal in our value to God. See, it's not giving out a pity, it's not giving out of self-righteousness, it's giving out a joy, is really the only true giving, even if you seem to be giving something material. It's the thought behind it. If you give out of pity, it's like killing them because it's adding to their idea that they have no true sustenance, that they've been cut off from their father, that they've been cut off from sustainability, from abundance, and that makes you feel cut off. It's as if all these people have to be fixed before you're feeling okay. As usual, I really appreciate it. Thank you, Glenn. He said, Why do Adam and Eve use Android to play video games? Because Eve violated the Apple terms and conditions. A fun game, like children still in the garden. We haven't left the garden. We've just made it look like something else. We've made it look like the opposite to the garden. We've made it look like this world where we go to die. We're on a death sentence, apparently. And let's try to make our world, let's try to decorate our world and control all the people in the world to make it all right for us as we're going on our death sentence. And this is how we undo even death. Death may be uh one of the last illusions or the last illusion. Who knows? But we're undoing this idea. Death is an idea that we made. We're undoing this illusion, this idea, by recognizing that the effects that we perceive of that idea are not really there, and the idea itself actually doesn't mean anything. I take the idea, well, everyone's got to die. I don't know. We seem to have an example of eternal life. You know, one through even let's say you don't even believe in Jesus. And you know, I don't believe in Jesus in that way either, that's silly. Like a uh, like, like just going, you have to believe, otherwise you're going to heaven. So you believe or going to hell, so then you believe out of fear. What Jesus represents is a certain consciousness that's accessible within all of us. You could say he represents to me, and may or may not represent that to you, Christ's consciousness. I told my mom and it kind of tripped her out. Apparently, I said, I am Jesus. She just kind of looked at me. I go, Yeah, we all ask Jesus into our heart in the in in Christianity. We asked Jesus into our heart. Seems like the rest of the time it's just coming back to the knowing that you did make that decision to let Jesus decide. Let for one way to say it. Let Jesus decide. This consciousness is within everyone. Let Jesus, you can say, let Jesus decide for me. That's an act of an aspect of myself that I can act that I can access. She just kind of looked at me like, hmm, she's straight face, fucking telling me she's Jesus right now. Yeah, I wrote all the books. We're the author of our experience. I wrote all the books that I seem to read and not read. I wrote the Bible. I wrote a course in miracles. I wrote a course of love. I wrote the whole scene. I even wrote the scene uh with a mom that seems to not be approving of me completely. And I also wrote the scene where I have a mom that's saying, you actually live the scriptures. I have a mom apparently saying, I've never met anyone who lives the scriptures like you. See? All meaningless. Because it's something I wrote, it's something I authored. And when we when we set ourselves up so that we need validation, we think we need validation. Oh, good, that's a win. Whew. That's a win. Then we get the opposite. We keep going back and forth. Oh, the couple points for me, couple points taken away from me, couple points for me, couple points taken away from me, right? Uh for me, I just get so much joy in expressing the authentic truth. This is what's this is what's true to me. I am Jesus. There's nowhere I can access Jesus except in my own mind. Where else could I access Jesus? Where else could I access any consciousness? Jesus is basically uh representing that name Jesus and the image of a man who lived about two thousand years ago is representing a certain consciousness that heals, and that consciousness is not separate from us. I found myself lately just noticing, um, and I've shared with you guys a lot, I think, about how my self-talk would be over many years. And um, it would be show me what to do, show me what to say, thank you, thank you, Jesus, thank you, Holy Spirit, thank you, God, thanking, gratitude all the time. Well, the past couple weeks, I notice in my mind going to thankfulness, thankfulness, even going to what should I do, and recognizing so clearly, I'm asking myself. No answer needed. I'm asking myself. So through the course of continuing to be grateful, continuing to um, you know, give my body the form, the self that I made over for just being truly helpful. All I want is to be truly helpful over the course of that. Eventually, it just became so clear to me there's no separation. And, you know, each time we have a realization like that, it's like um we access more consciousness, we access more of our power. And we go to, it's like we go through another door in our consciousness leading back home. Once we've gone through that door, it's like I cannot see myself as separate. I cannot even see myself as being separate from the one I'm asking to help me see. It's like, holy shit, that's me. Who else can let me see? Who else can really do that? All right, and then Akasha has a comment, and then propping up those external identity personalities, which we cling to, becomes a full-time job. Yes, that's right. It's like the ego that we made that we identify with while we're identifying as an ego, wants to protect itself. So all this energy is going to propping. Up the identity, getting the correct validation that reflects how I want to see myself. It occurred to me that a lot of people get into spirituality, in fact, because they want other people to think they're cool. It's like, wow, people think these spiritual people are pretty cool. I want people to think I'm cool. Once people reflect back to me that I'm cool because I'm so spiritual, I made it. And as that fluctuates, I get the sense that I didn't make it. But in always being here, always being present to my experience and recognizing myself as the author of all experience, I can allow my mind to be led by the aspect of my mind that knows the truth. It doesn't have to stay focused on the circumstances of the world to justify non-truth, to justify judgment. These are involuntary. Miracles are involuntary. That means you don't decide who gets the miracle. What's more guided is when you need to see a brother as yourself. When you need to see a brother in uh in their perfect creation as God created them. When you don't see someone like that, when you see someone is less than, when you have estimated their value, your mind is also estimating your own value. And you don't want that. You'd rather see them truly. So that becomes uh what you would do with all situations and circumstances and people who seem to be upsetting to you, who seem to be weak, who seem to be sickly, who seem to be mean. Yes, the watched mind. That's right. We were studying in chapter two of a Course in Miracles about the unwatched mind. So um what Jesus was inspiring us to do through that is watch our mind, watch our unconscious mind. Once it becomes watched, then we can bring those illusions to the truth. But in order to even watch our mind, we have to be willing to forgive our illusions. The things that pop up and trigger upset feelings, those are our illusions that need to be forgiven. And it's not about forgiving the physical thing, it's not like that. As in I forgive you for slapping me, for instance. True forgiveness is what I thought happened didn't really happen. Someone might go, oh gosh, well, what are you saying? Like, let's put this in the practical terms. You're at a party, someone decides they don't like you. Maybe they think you're someone else, and they just walk up and slap you. What do you do? If you don't already see it clearly that you orchestrated it, that was your hand that did the slapping, ask to see clearly. Okay, I need to see this clearly. Help me see, even help me see this clearly. Because, you know, even if you're not aware that your higher self is the one self is who you are, you could say your higher self or God is actually who you are. Asking for that, asking for true vision is something that you can be given because you want it, because it's naturally who you are. You naturally do see clearly. So when you seem to not be seeing clearly and you actually want it, you get it. Biblically, that would go to a verse that says, Ask and it will be given you. Because it's already there, it's already something that's yours. The truth is yours. Awareness of what is true is already yours. So what do you do on the surface? Who knows? Leave that to let's say, leave that to nature to play out. You pay attention to the mind. What isn't what is the mind making of this? Is the mind making of it that someone just came out of left field and slapped you? Or is the mind recognizing I authored this? Right? Nothing saying that you can't slap them back. It's a dream, it's a movie. Be curious about what manifestation's gonna come out of you instead of trying to manage it. Instead of trying to manage any outcome. Let the illusion be totally uh beneficial. When you look at it as beneficial, then it's beneficial. Oh, thank goodness that person slapped me. I needed that. I can't get a slap I don't need. Let's say an insult that I don't need, right? Turn the other cheek and get all slapped around, right? Akahi. That's it. And you know, when Jesus said turn the other cheek, he was not saying to give them the other cheek so they could slap that cheek. Okay, he was actually saying turn the other cheek to show them that you're not affected, that you're perfectly whole. Instead of showing them your wound, look what you did to me. Like that. It's demonstrating, it's a way of pointing to, demonstrating you're invulnerable in truth. You can't be threatened, you can't really be attacked. It's not the same as an ego way of asking for another slap on the other side of your face. It's not asking for more slaps. It's actually asking for more slaps, ironically. Is that irony? I don't know. Ironically, it's asking for more slaps when you make it as if you didn't cause it. Because then that's saying you're vulnerable. Glenn says, atonement, what I believe happened, never actually happened. Hooray. Yes, hooray. It's not the same as the ego's way of looking at it saying, Slap me again. If they think you owe them some money, give it to them. It's not gonna hurt you. There's no uh there's no injustice, there's no unfairness. You know, and when I say give it to them, it's not like you can make that actual choice in the field. You could just make a choice to look internally. What does it feel like to just give it to them and not be concerned about it? But they just here you go, and then not even be dis not even be concerned. It doesn't matter if you actually perceive yourself giving it to them or not, it's just in noticing, wow, just being unconcerned about the world, I could just extend love in whatever way feels amazing. Feels like perfect happiness. You know how it's not yes, at one mint, yes, yeah. You know how it's not in the action itself, the giving, but in the feeling behind it. So if you're paying someone what they think they owe you just to get them off your back, for instance, that's a different energy, that's a fearful energy. But when you're extending to them, you know, you're making this a symbol. This money that I'm paying you is a symbol. Let this be a symbol of our shared holiness, let's say. Let this be a symbolic of what a symbolic gesture of what's true, a symbolic gesture that we're totally valuable to God, and that I'm sustained by the love of God, and you're sustained by the love of God. So this pushing around of money, it doesn't really mean anything. So I don't mind if you think I owe you a hundred or a thousand dollars. If it seems to be at my disposal, and that's the way I can in this instance express through a symbol what it means to be loving, that's okay. It can go like that. I give my spirit free reign to use my body and my apparent resources in whatever way is the most beneficial, and whatever way it does manifest is the most beneficial because of that. It's always the most beneficial, anyways. But when your intention is for it to be beneficial, you can see it that way, and when you see it that way, it is that way for you, and miracles are flowing through in an involuntary way. A lot of miracles you may not even know that you make, that you allow, let's say. The miracle is so natural, it's your natural state of being. It's only the blocks to that that prevent the miracle from occurring. And remember what it means for a miracle to occur. That's where you're recognizing that this is a dream, you're establishing that. This is a dream, and none of its contents are true. That's the miracle because each time it's in the it's in the midst of there's real stuff here. The mind's constantly thinking past thoughts, which are identifying things in the world and what they mean, and all of that. So in each moment where there's a recognition and establishing in your mind that you're dreaming a dream, and none of this content has any meaning or truth to it, that's a miracle. See how they're not specific, they're so involuntary because you're just recognizing that that thing has no meaning. And through recognizing that that particular thing, so it's something small, right? It's a little thing in your life, let's say, could be big to you. That refrigerator not working today has no meaning. This is what opens your mind, opens the way for miracles where you perceive uh and you understand and know that this is a dream. And that's from instant to instant that changes. So it's coming into this knowing constantly by removing the blocks to love. Because as long as we're perceiving a world where there seems to be a sun outside of ourselves, I'm talking about the one that hangs in the sky, apparently. There seems to be a sun outside of ourselves, we are perceiving past thoughts. And those need to be brought to the truth, recognized as illusion. This is very simple. It's meant, it's it's just separating what's created from what is made. What's made is not eternal. So, what's eternal from what's passing away? Everything that's passing away is an illusion. That's a feeling is also an illusion that's passing away. But what's eternal, which we don't see anything eternal here, do we? Everything's passing away. They say the sun is also passing away. After so many millions of years, it's gonna burn out, apparently. The cosmos are passing away, everything's passing away that we perceive here. So, what's not passing away is awareness. What's not passing away is your ability to experience and be the author of your experience. That's the same in earth as it is in heaven, which is actually again the same place. One's just overlaid with illusion, but the same rule still applies. You can only see in in heaven, it's see it's seeing its true sight, or perceive in illusions the effects of your thinking. In heaven, the reason why you're seeing and it's true sight, because these are your true thoughts. Your true thoughts are not born in separation, so the creations that come from your true thoughts are eternal, they don't need to pass away because there's nothing wrong with them, and your creations are love. See, there can never be anything wrong in creation, manifestation, on the other hand, is proof of misperception, and when you're embracing your experiences because you authored them, because you wanted them, and you're using them to see through the illusion of separation, then you're experiencing holiness, and that's heaven, that's bringing heaven to earth. You see that? Experiencing holiness is bringing heaven to earth. It's what they say, bringing heaven to earth. It's actually making heaven more visible through the layers of illusion that has been overlaid, been superimposed on top of reality. Yes. Heaven is a place on earth. Heaven can only be now. One of the ego's biggest tricks is to make us believe that heaven's coming after we die. So that has us both afraid of death and pursuing death at the same time. That's how the ego works. Has us pursuing what we don't want. Thinking that we want it. And another ego thought around death is that that's when you get your rest. Ah, thank goodness I don't have to run in the world anymore. I can die now. But the running doesn't stop. That's why it's a trick. The running doesn't stop post-death. No one's resting post-death. It's not like that. There's an illusion of heaven that occurs based on your beliefs. That's how you see what you believed about the afterlife. There's an illusion that heaven occurs, but it doesn't take too long. It doesn't take too long before the ego starts chasing again. The ego chases you beyond death and has you manifest more lives so that the ego can continue to kill you as long as you would allow that. As long as you would allow the uh world to be real for you. As long as you would think it's a good idea to keep both worlds, keep the illusory world and keep heaven. What happens is you end up keeping the illusory world as a superimposition over heaven. You keep having perceptions in the world and not realizing that they're coming from you. I think that's hilarious. From some people, I hear uh what's what a great job our president is doing, the president of the United States. And from some people, I hear what a woman hater he is. All of this is coming from a mind that believes in separation, whether you know it's he's doing anything that is helping anyone in that kind of capacity like that, or hurting anyone, he's not helping or hurting anyone. Whatever way anyone seems to manifest is a hundred percent helpful for us. But when we don't see it as health helpful, we see it as a problem. I see it as a call for love whenever it seems like anyone is uh doing anything, or that my well-being depends on anything they do. Let's put it that way. It's thinking that our well-being or anyone's well-being depends on what some person in government is doing. And it's fun, it's it's fun witnessing how some people believe the same person is like a savior to the country, the savior to the United States of America. Another group of people are basically and relating to me so I can see it too. That's what makes it so fun. I love it. It's it's my author. I authored it like this, so I could see, so I could see that it's an illusion. I apparently experience people telling me that he's so bad, and in a way that they just expect me to believe and agree with that. That's what I notice. That's so fun, too, because I love it when it seems like there's expectations on me. I love that. I love being able to demonstrate to my own own mind that I don't need to give in to any of these expectations. I don't need to even pretend like I agree with an idea of what effect this person has on people. It's my thinking that made him up and also the people telling me about him. So they all are calls for love. Will you look upon me truly? And it's coming from my own mind. Will you look upon me truly? That's perfect for them, whatever they believe. Whatever they're choosing to believe right now, that's perfect for them. That's the experience they're having. It's not one bit true. There's no one outside the mind of God. There's not there's no one who's not perfectly cared for for and perfectly innocent. A lot of people are in the mental space of what should I believe? What's the most spiritual to believe? That's why in spiritual circles, there's a lot of group think. And I notice from going around to different spiritual communities, it's totally acceptable to be bashing the president. Even though everything that we're studying and everything that we're reading, and everything like that when we're reading together is saying the opposite. It's saying everyone is the holy son of God. And not recognizing how it hurts our mind to assume that something that we perceive outside of ourselves is actually out there making effects outside of our mind. See how when we recognize this, all these things like government and all that kind of stuff, the way it's set up, the way we set it up, becomes unnecessary. For me, I don't, I just don't get the the sense that I'm affected by it at all. Since I authored it. All the effects, all the seeming effects are also coming from me. It seems like, let's say, it seems like he made this law, and I don't know about anything like this, anyways. Uh, it seems to me he made this law, which makes it so that it's really hard for me to get a massage. He made massages illegal. Jeez. I would just see that has no power over me. Even laws of the world, they just have no power over me. I follow the law of God, and everything works out. The law of God is what? Jesus left two commandments and say them perfectly. Love thy neighbor as thyself, and love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, all thy mind, and all thy spirit, and that these two laws are the same. These are one and the same. So loving God is the same as loving your brother, or you can say your neighbor, however, you want to say it. And loving God has to do with receiving the love of God. See, that's the relationship. God created you to bestow his love on you so that you can reflect that back to him. That's the perfect happiness. God bestows his love on you, and you reflect it back to him in gratitude. That's creation. That's why you've never stopped creating. And there's a whole world that's created for you based on this relationship. God bestowing love on you, not because you've done anything to make yourself worthy, but because you're his son. You're his extension, you can say. There's no worthiness here. It doesn't even make any sense. The whole purpose God created you was to bestow his love on you so you would reflect it back to him and he could know himself through this relationship. There's no separation between you and God. In this dream, you are God's essence. Your awareness is it in relationship with yourself. Your create to create like God is to bestow love upon the Son of God without having them earn it or prove to you that they're even worthy of it. And that all has to do with an internal movement that is seeing. That's seeing it, seeing past the illusions that we made. That's how we bestow the love of God on each other. And so we can feel the gratitude reflected back to us. And it, you know, it doesn't necessarily originally come in form. Originally, when I started practicing this, I was not getting reflections of gratitude back from the form. It did not look like that, but I could feel the love of God. I could feel the gratitude coming straight from God to me, right? For the love that's extended to his sons. Now, God and me and the sons are all one mind. That's why it's creation. Why it's divine reciprocity. Whatever we give, we receive instantly. If we give shame, we feel shameful. If we give hatred, we feel hatred. If we give truth, we're aware that we are the truth. And that feels like perfect happiness, and it makes dreaming this dream so much fun. If you're not having fun, there's something for you to see in the unconscious, unwashed mind. Because this is meant to be fun, like children playing and enjoying the moment. Wayne said, I and my father are one. I tattooed this on my shoulder to remember this. Great. Great. I mean, a tattoo isn't exactly practicing it, but it, you know, it could be like a uh reminder if you look at your shoulder often. Or is that for other people to see? I don't know. But it's a matter of remembering this from moment to moment that I and my father are one. And all my father wants and all I want are exactly the same thing. That's to extend love. That's what makes me happy, and that's what fulfills God's plan. So, hooray, everyone! Thank you for joining Wisdom Dialogues. I'm so happy to be back with you. I love you. Um, I'm gonna be back tomorrow instead of Wednesday. I'm gonna be back tomorrow, and that's when I'm gonna do the ACIM deep dive. I might change it to an hour later just because one of my hosts seems to be working at that time. She forgot California time is different from Arizona time now. So I'll let you know over Zoom if I change that. And of course, on Substack, I'll just set it up for whatever time it is. So I'm gonna do uh just this week and next week while I'm here in Bullhead City. And then I'm going to probably take a couple weeks off. I'm gonna travel to Washington. I'm gonna be in Bellingham, Washington. I'm probably gonna go visit brothers and sisters over in Las Vegas, which I'm probably gonna have a lot more stories after that. It's so fun. Um, and then once I'm settled in Bellingham, it looks like I might be there for a little while, maybe like six months, maybe like five or six months. And I'll get on a roll there and I'll start I'll start doing my events twice a week. One of them is gonna be on Sunday. One of my friends requested Sundays who's in that area. And you know, I'm really flexible. Um, I don't have a big schedule. Um just scheduling my wisdom talks, basically, radio shows that I might do. I'm doing an event here while I'm in Bullhead City. I'm gonna um do it at this place called Venus Energy Center. I'll record that and put it on podcast. You can find all this, all these links and stuff on my website, hopejohnson.org. Also, feel free to donate to my uh to my ministry through my website. Donations are so much appreciated. They go toward what it takes to keep this going, as far as you know, hiring someone to do blog posts or you know, even extending it out more as the resources continue to come in. Uh, you know, I just automatically get inspired and go, oh, I could do this with it. I could do this, I can uh make this uh make make these posts now and and just kind of like add to it. You know, I already have a lot of content. It also occurred to me last night, gosh, I could just like uh disappear from the public view at any time. I mean, I have a whole body of work that's just totally um available on my website. It's not like it's necessary for me to continue unless the inspiration is there, and I just kind of like rested in that. Hmm, how does that feel to just drop from public and go internal? It really wouldn't make a difference, it's really no difference. If I'm listening to the Holy Spirit, it's perfect, so I'm always just leaving myself open to stuff like that, too. It's really fun. Yay! All right, Aikahi, thank you so much for sharing your selfless love and wisdom. Oh, I appreciate you. Oh, you haven't told me that lately. That's because I haven't been around you. I love you. Ah, thank you for all the love. Hooray, Caitlin. That was incredible as ever. Perfect reminders of truth. I love you. I love you too. And Wayne is giving a link to his show, Let's Create Miracles, on Sunday. Um, that's Sunday, 10 a.m. uh Hawaii time, and that goes live on kkcr.org. So you can click on kkcr.org to listen in on that show when it goes live. So thank you very much, everyone. I love you. And until tomorrow, mahalo, aloha, and a hoo-e-hour.
