Sensuality is not what most people think it is. I’m talking about the raw, simple ability to feel what’s happening in your body without shame and without a story, because that felt sense is the fastest way I know to notice when you’re gripping a thought. When we grip thoughts, we project a world and then react as if it’s happening to us, and the contraction shows up as stress, numbness, and defensiveness. Relaxation is not a vibe here, it’s a spiritual skill that reveals more truth.
We dig into a practical distinction that changes everything: judging versus noticing. Judging says it should be different; noticing asks one clean question, “Do I like it?” That question becomes a compass for boundaries, relationships, and self-trust, especially when you’re wired for obligation or nurturing with a hidden expectation. Along the way we bring in A Course in Miracles teachings on forgiveness, the unwatched mind, and “your brother is your savior” as a way of seeing holiness instead of trying to fix anyone.
Then we take the tools into real life: world events that trigger disgust or outrage, the body as a signal of alignment, fear as sensation that can be allowed to expand, and gratitude as the baseline that restores clarity. I share stories about business conflict resolving through relaxed perception, a surprising dating trip guided by “does it feel true,” and even a provocative look at after-death choices and the ego’s need to be needed. If you care about spiritual awakening, somatic awareness, meditation, and mind-body healing, this one ties it together with blunt honesty and relief.
Subscribe for more conversations like this, share it with someone who’s stuck in stress, and leave a review if it helps you trust your own signal. What’s one place in your life where you can ask “Do I like it?” and tell the truth?

SPEAKER_00There it goes live. It's slower than it was.
Sensuality As Relaxed Awareness
Liking Versus Judging Without Shame
SPEAKER_03And then I gotta press this button, which I did. Oh, there it goes. Yay! Woo! Okay, we're recording. Things have moved around. There it is. Record to the cloud. Aloha. And welcome to Wisdom Dialogues with Hope Johnson coming to you from Lake Watcombe, Washington. Woo! Yay! Ah. Ooh, oh my goodness. You know, the first thing that pops up for me is sensuality. Oh my goodness. I'm not talking about sexuality. I kind of am, but not totally. Sensuality. Oh my goodness. It is just simplifying everything. And you know, I got into this a long time ago when I just noticed tension being held. This whole body sense, this whole sense that we are a person, um, that we're walking around in as projecting whatever a body, it is a manifestation that's based on attention. Wow. Because look at it. In order to perceive a world, you have to project it. It cannot be perceived without it being projected. And in order to project it, you have to be gripping thoughts. In a sense, we're all gripping. The only thing there is to learn is to see how you can be released from gripping, right? However, that is for you. You know, I seem to uh to do it, and really it's like realizing it, realizing, okay, all there is for me to do at any time is relax because relaxation lets me be aware of more truth. It's the tension that keeps it veiled, the tension is reflecting in the body's energy field. That's why I'm talking about sensuality. Because when there's contraction in the body's energy field, there's also this shielding to feeling. It's like defensiveness against feeling, right? So that's like just the simply being aware of how you feel and whether you like it without judgment. Do you like it? Without any judgment, it's so simple like that. You know, the ego will come in and go, well, that's not enough. But yeah, yes, it is. It is. You're you know, yes, there's more that you can know, and there's more that you can see, but as the simplest thing, just in the moment when there seems to be any tension, your willingness to recognize that the tension is caused by a thought, basically, what's been called a erroneous or miscreative thought, because it doesn't resonate, it's not congruent with the truth about you. That's the only thing that can cause a sense. Again, that's the root word, sensuality, sense that you do not like is a thought that is against you and is therefore untrue. So your simple willingness to see that the thought that's propping up that feeling, what's behind that feeling is actually untrue, will allow you to see past the surface. See, the surface senses, let's say, uh, let's say the eyes. The eyes, I think, are the most surface sense, body sense there is, uh, because it just picks up images that the brain is automatically interpreting is true. Or you could say the mind, because the brain doesn't really do anything, it's in the mind. Let's say the brain mind, okay, uh, is automatically making images that you seem to see real. So the simple denial that those images are real, and you know, denial is automatic. That kind of denial, this is what Jesus would call a worthy form of denial, okay, as opposed to an unworthy form, where you deny that that thing, person, situation, whatever it is, is coming from outside of your own mind. Your willingness to recognize simply that that is a projection, whatever it is you seem to see, it really relaxes the energy field, which allows you to sense more. The thing about tension is it blocks off the senses, it blocks off your ability to feel deeply the reaction to your thoughts about the experience. It's never a reaction to the experience, it's actually a reaction to thoughts about the experience. Okay. Oh, how fun, Dorga. Thank you. That's a great question. Um, did I open up the chat for you guys? Maybe I didn't. Let me see. I think I have to let you guys chat because then she went into a different place. Yep, I do. Okay, there you go. All right. Again, the question is make a distinction between judging something and deciding I like something or not. Okay, yes, great. I'm really happy for that question because that's a common thing that will make people not know that they like something or don't. And especially don't like it, because people get ashamed for not liking something, especially if it's it's something that they think that they made or they decided on. Okay. So the difference between judging and noticing, this see, you're not deciding whether you like, you're not deciding. Deciding is it's bringing in information uh like concepts. This is noticing. You're noticing how it feels to you. That is not a judgment. A judgment is saying it should be different, uh, it should be better, uh, they should do it like this. This is just simple, noticing if you like it or not. See, and then you're gonna start to see how you play into making the thing you don't like manifest. And you know, for me, what I've seen uh myself do is it's kind of like bury my head and and and kind of like be ignorant to my own feelings, what my own expression is, right? And so when I notice what my own expression is, like, hey, wait a minute, I don't like this. I'm not gonna fucking do it anymore. I'm not gonna believe the thought that tells me I have to do it. It's giving me obligation, and you know, we're all wired in these different ways as far as the self-aform that we uh that we make, that we project coming in. And we have these different tendencies. And you know, one thing that I noticed about the self-aform uh that I made is it tends to be very nurturing. Um, it seems like, you know, there's certain instances and certain people where it will seem like I need to nurture them in this way, but this ability to check in and notice, do I like this? That changes the whole thing. Because now I don't have this, it's kind of like a hidden sense of obligation. Of course, you know, on the tip of my consciousness, I'm gonna say, I'm not obligated to anyone. Fuck those guys.
unknownRight?
SPEAKER_03I'm not obligated. Uh, and and you know, uh, it's like these patterns are kind of like layered over and under different patterns, and we don't see them until we do. So it's like the self-image, whoever we think we are, maybe you think you are someone who doesn't uh uh who doesn't give in to that kind of energy, but then you may perceive yourself doing that, you know, and it and if you do, it's not wrong. Here's the thing about here's about here's the thing about the end of spiritual learning. Let's say the end of spiritual learning. Here's the thing about it. Nothing that comes up is wrong. Whatever comes up is helpful, whatever people play for you is helpful. Remember that projection makes perception, that keeps you free of pretending like you can judge. You know, you can't really judge. That's your mind being blank. You know, it's like even if you go, okay, look, there's a thought that goes, you know what? I wish they would be like that. All you need to do about that is have compassion for the self you made. It's like you're just accepting the self you made that wishes something was different. That's how it changes. It doesn't change by you judging the self that says it wishes it was different. That you know, and and what changes, your perception changes. That means your projection changes. The situation, the circumstances, the people, what they say that what they do, that is really just reflecting back to you what you've already projected. So whatever the means are, that's any kind of changes in the perception, that's always getting you exactly what you want. And we all want the same thing, you know. You could call it connection, you could call it connection to the source, right? And you can't get you cannot give connection to the source to another person, right? You can't give that to them, otherwise that would be denying them free will, right? And and you know, that's been asked to Jesus before. It's like, why don't you just fix us all right now? Why don't you just like wave your Jesus wand, whatever you have, sprinkle some Jesus juice on us, and make us not be fucking delusional. And you know what? He said that would devalue your mind so much because your mind is free, and that would make it like your mind is not free. You need a savior to come in and make you back to right. Like you have to choose the reality that you want, which one is not reality, one is a self-made reality. You have to choose the reality that you want, and you can only do that in the present moment. And in the present moment, like look at what you can be aware of in the present moment that's of the present moment. You could either be aware of thoughts that are going on about the past or the future, right? Or you can be in that relaxation mode. Let's call it a mode because you can always relax more, right? That's something I've been saying over the years. You can always relax more. There's always tension being held in the body's energy field, reflecting the tension that's required to uphold a world that appears separate. So there's always more, that's why there's always more relaxation to be done.
SPEAKER_00And forget about what you seem to be doing on the surface of things.
SPEAKER_03You could be apparently doing something that's not that relaxing, right? I mean, it's a matter of noticing what you sense, noticing how does it feel on your left ear, for instance. I mean, that's like the practice of it. You don't have to get real technical. How does it feel in the upper palate of my mouth? Right? What about the soles of the feet? If you followed that with me, you could probably feel sensation in those places. That's all it is. When you feel, see the thing about attention, when you put your attention to sensation, you cannot be pursuing a thought, and then those thoughts, those surface thoughts that are given you by the ego, make way, they dissipate, and you can see deeper. Like, you know, what I notice is like whole patterns, world, then they're world patterns, okay? These little patterns that we play in our daily lives with each other, with money, for instance, all these things that we play, these worldly patterns, they are part of a larger pattern that's projecting the whole world for everyone. We're not alone in experiencing these effects.
SPEAKER_00Right? Whatever effects we're experiencing, we're not alone in that.
Body And Mind In A Course In Miracles
SPEAKER_03See? So when we're willing to have a relaxation experience in the midst of whatever thoughts are chaos, other chaos. I mean, really, there's no chaos in the world, it's all our thoughts about the world, it's chaotic. Okay, because that's a that's a mistaken thought about ourselves in the first place that we're perceiving. When we are relaxing, you could say meditating too. That's another way to say it, because when you get into a deep meditative state, it has nothing to do with the posture, but when you get into a deep meditative state, that's like that too. You know, your awareness is not on thought. That's the point. It's witnessing thought, thoughts are passing. And you know, what I notice in myself is I just see that what's talking is a narrator that's not me. What is talking is not me. Some of the thoughts, some of the thoughts I smile at, it's like that's fun thought, or or you know, to be beautiful, be like, ah, and some of them are and some of them are cruel. It's like, I don't believe that, you know. But but you're you're just aware of them, right? It's like it's like, oh shit, that's harsh. But it's like in a in a light way, in a light way, no matter what it is, you know, it you get a thought of someone dying, for instance, like, whoa, okay. Uh, I noticed too, if you don't watch shows, and this is just from experimenting with it myself. If you don't watch shows where there's torture or killing or rape or war, there's gonna be fewer of those thoughts. This is just from my own experiment. There's definitely fewer of those thoughts, like death, destruction, war, stuff like that. Um, also thoughts that come up like that person's a fucking idiot or something like that. You know, you just recognizing you're not making yourself guilty at all. That's not even you talking, dang. That's not even you. Uh so the thought just loses any credibility when you see it for what it is. And you know, that's really another way to say forgiveness, isn't it? See that it's just like you know, every thought that crosses your mind, it goes through a test. And when you're alert to it, when you're alert about it, it goes through a test. How does that thought feel? You know, and you know, when it comes to scene patterns, uh, these energetic patterns that we play in all these different dynamics, looking at it from an ego point of view, a lot of the times it could look like a person is like really uh an asshole, let's say. What a fucking asshole. What a big dickhead, whatever, right? When you relax through that perception, when you relax and recognizing that's also your projection, so you can still see the patterns without holding on to anything that says anybody did anything. It's important to see the patterns. Um, if you're seeing them, if you're not seeing them, that's okay. It's okay. Uh, just your willingness to recognize this is patterned, this is my habit. That's really that's enough. Some of us are gonna see patterns more than others. Uh that's just it's kind of like one of those givens, you know. It's like there's there's uh certain things that certain people are uh assigned, that's a good word, or appointed to play out. Yeah. So because it's like, and and it's like this, it's like if you're faithful in a little bit, that the insight that you get, meaning like if you can see a pattern and you can recognize, okay, that's a pattern, and so you're letting yourself and all your brothers off the hook, the ego's hook, constantly, you'll be given more insight. You get even more insight. Uh, but if you hold in your heart that things should have been different or they should have been better to me, or something like that, uh, then you know it's inducing, you're seeing the patterns is inducing fear. That's what it's showing. Basically, your your awareness of the patterns is inducing fear if it's if you're not letting go of these ideas like they're doing something to you. Because you got to remember that they agreed to play the pattern that you asked them to play. They're never ever. I'm talking about your brothers now, and that's anyone, anyone that you perceive in the world, anyone at all, right? They are deserving of. Nothing less than gratitude. Okay. Gratitude is like the baseline. If you don't feel gratitude for your brother, and you know, this includes anyone who seems like they have done any kind of harm to you, or you're holding uh any kind of idea like they should be different, even you know, like they're not far enough on their path or something like that. Um that's the thought to see. That's the moment to be released, that's the moment to get some relief. See, and the more relief you allow for yourself, the more you help everyone open up to a deeper sense of relaxation and more sensuality. You know, you you really do want to be more sensual with life. Notice how you're actually cutting off the senses when you get stressed. And look at what stress is, look at what it is. It's like hoping something goes a certain way, you'll gain from it, or at least you won't lose. Right? And it and it makes this bracing energy in the body's energy field. Is it like this bracing? And that's actually cutting off feeling, it's cutting off the feeling sense. You're meant to be aware of every single cell. Okay, so that means your awareness is meant to be uh coming through all parts of your apparent form, the form that you made. When there's blockages to that, you start perceiving as if there are problems. See? Because it's really what you're experiencing in the body sense, that's the first manifestation of thinking. So that makes it a really good signal. That's one thing we were talking about. Oh, yeah, you guys, I did a live. I don't know if you saw my post. I did a bunch of posts about a live that I was doing in different places. I don't know if you guys saw it. I was on with just a yogi this week on Thursday. And you can go to his channel on YouTube if you want to check it out. Just a yogi, it's called. Um, it was this week on Thursday. And he asked, you know, yogis definitely would have this kind of question. And this kind of question came up for me too, because we're talking about a course in miracles and the whole thing with the course in miracles, and you know, yeah, the whole thing with the course in miracles. You're not a body, you are not a body, and so the way that's interpreted by the ego, it's like as if the body should be disregarded. He's not saying that, he's saying that's not your real equipment. Your real equipment is in the mind, your real equipment is the mind. So he's like, How did you reconcile that? Like for a for the first years that I was into a course in miracles, probably about the first eight years I was into a course in miracles, I had a yoga practice. There was maybe two years in there where I was uh guided stop to stop just to uh feel what it's like to not have that as uh this stabilizing. You know, my practices have always been felt like this stabilizing uh activity. So from time to time I'm called to just stop and see if you're stabilized, anyways, and see what you need to stabilize without that kind of thing. And as you know, stabilize is kind of a funny word because it sounds kind of rigid, like stabilize, but really it's stabilizing in the truth, it's stabilizing in what the truth is, and that's real sense of flexibility with whatever it is that's arising, even if you're becoming stiff and inflexible in your perception. So, yeah, I go, you know, it wasn't it wasn't very much of a problem for me to see right away what Jesus was talking about. He was saying not to make the body real. You know, he wasn't saying that you can't exercise, he wasn't saying that you can't take supplements, he was saying that you give power automatically to things that actually have no power and to be watchful, to be watching the unwatched mind. Does he ever tell you to change the unwatched mind? I don't think so. I don't think so. I mean, he does say to watch it, so you can choose between what's real and what's unreal. But he also talks about between what you want and what you don't want. So, you know, he also talks about you need to know what you want and what you don't want, because you know, in the beginning of it, you do not know the difference between the two. The things that you actually want bring you pain. The things that you think you want bring you pain, right? And the things that you don't want are actually the things that would bring joy. So it's like completely backwards, is what he's saying. So once you uh once you develop this uh this ability to tune into the feeling sense, the sensuality. Uh, I I've uh I've encouraged some people who say they don't really feel into this sense. Uh I go, pinch yourself. When there's a thought that you don't like, you recognize you don't like, or even if you you're not sure if you like it or not, pinch yourself. That might help you see. This isn't a decision that you make, it's automatic because it because it's a signal. The body is like a like a teaching tool, and what's coming through it all the time in the in the way of feeling is signal. It's reflecting to you whether your thoughts are in alignment with what's true, what's actually true. You can see right away. Am I gripping? Right? There's always gonna be deeper grips too, until you see through the the illusion. Always is not forever. Always while you're dreaming. Right? Yeah, in a dream, you're on your way to awakening, and you could be on your way to awakening in a dream forever. It's only when you actually accept that you are dreaming, and whatever arises in your dream is the means for your accepting the true reality that's been created for you. That brings back the gratitude, doesn't it? That's what you need more of all the time. Gratitude, even for the thoughts that are like uh conflicted or confusing or anything like that. Look who that's occurring to. You know, look at look at what's what's aware of those thoughts. It's not an image that's aware of those thoughts. The thoughts are about an image, it doesn't have anything to do with you. See that the thoughts that occur to you, worldly thoughts, are always about an image.
SPEAKER_00Right? That's not you, that's an image that you made.
SPEAKER_03You know, I'll give you a really simple example. Today, I got the sense early on, it seemed to feel good. Ah, some block therapy, right? And then I seemed to start fucking around with some other stuff, and then I found myself going for a shower, and right before I got in the shower, a thought occurred to me that I was behind, that I wanted to have block therapy done by now. What was I even doing? Right, and I just smiled at that thought. Uh this is just like one example I'm giving you of how it is. I just smiled at that thought and recognize the truth that none of this is even happening. There is nothing here to really that thought makes no sense.
SPEAKER_04Whoa, my necklace is off.
Heart Transplant And Identity Shifts
When World News Triggers You
SPEAKER_03So that so you recognize that the thought itself makes no sense. There's nothing to argue about. It's not like, no, I'm on time, or I still have time, I could still do block therapy. Also, anything about time comes up. I've been uh remembering lately from a recent ACIM deep dive that we did. Time is under Jesus' direction. Just remembering that time is under Jesus' direction. You can't get you cannot get it wrong. There's never gonna be a misstep. What he's really asking us to do is watch what we're thinking in secret. So one of my friends has been sharing with me uh about this decision to get a whole heart transplant. He already tried a part of a thing where they put something in there, and apparently that didn't work out. So they're gonna do a whole heart transplant. And first of all, I think that's really fun. Uh it's interesting. Uh, it's it's gonna be interesting to see what kind of different perceptions come up when you take on another person's heart in the dream because apparently these organs are tied to certain thought patterns already. It's almost like they're receivers for the the thought pattern, so that'll be interesting, and it's not it, it's not like it changes anything about who we are, it's like this image that we made getting uh almost like an edit, right? Because the image isn't it the image that we made isn't just physical, the physical is a projection of a mental image. So when the physical changes, that's a trip. For one thing, it's an effect of a mental change. So it's like it's as if you've taken on another person's heart, and that comes with certain uh certain patterns and tendencies and different stuff like that. It's really it's deep, that's deep. I I can imagine just how much identity would be could be undone through that, because it's like seeing, wow, well, okay, if this craving tendency, um, like or dislike, right, is new and that's not me, then none of these other ones are actually me either. That just lets you be so much lighter with it all. It's just so easy to see. It's not like a like or dislike is right or wrong, then. And you can take this, what I'm talking about, and apply it to whatever seems to be going on in the world. Like, let's say these new uh, these new discoveries with the with the Epstein files. Now I'm seeing like all these people coming out like, what in the world? I was like, I can't believe I even talked to my son recently, and he was like, Mom, what the fuck? The things that are being revealed, right? So I was I was sharing with a friend. Um, she actually owns the place where I go restore hyper wellness here in uh Bellingham, where I get red red light therapy and stuff like that. And she was going, she was thinking I didn't um watch any social media or anything like that or have any information. I'm thinking that's because I'm just like chilled out and I'm not like having any problems. She's thinking I must not be getting any kind of news in any kind of way, right? I'm like, oh no, I'm on social media. Oh, yeah, I know about that stuff. Um and I go, it's good that you feel you get this feeling like you don't like it. It's yeah, you know, she's like, that really bothers me. It really does. And I go, that's good. It's it's showing you, it's revealing to you that you actually have the power to change it. You know that thought that says, uh, I'm gonna accept the things I cannot change. That is an ego thought, actually. Of course, everything is within your power to change. You made it. And see, the millions of years, the millions of lifetimes likely that you spent making it through that, you made yourself numb to it. See, so it had to reflect to you in this big way to bring up a big feeling to get your attention. Now you're like, wow, I hate that this is happening. So what I shared with this uh sweetie is that self that hates that this is happening, that self needs to be accepted exactly as it is. And that is a the that is the simple version that actually works. See, because there's this rejection of the self automatically. It's going, I hate this, but I can't do anything about it. That thing about accept the things you cannot change, your mind knows you're making this up. Your mind knows that is bullshit. So when you're hating the things that you cannot change, and at the same time trying to accept the things you cannot change, that is a conflict in your mind. It does not agree with reality. Of course, everything is in your command, you command this thing. That's why what we're seeing through is our own disturbances, and these disturbances are based on an image of self that's not true. Okay, you've got your image of self that you present to other people, right? The one that's forward facing the world, and that one most of the time is okay to you, maybe pretty good sometimes for some of you. But the one that that hides, you can't stand that one. You hate that one. The one that that one on the surface is uh, that's the shiny one that you prevent present to everyone, even yourself. That's the one that you might sit say is kind, that's the one you might say is gentle, that's the one you might say is pretty. It's smiling, okay. The one underneath that one, you can't stand that one.
SPEAKER_01And it's feeding the pattern, like you said, really.
After Death Choices And Not Returning
Dating With Guidance And No Obligation
Your Brother As Savior Through Seeing
SPEAKER_03Yes, and that's the one, right? Thank you, Natalie. That's the one that's feeding the patterns, okay? So when you're trying to justify yourself, you're really trying to hide that self from yourself. That's why Jesus says, uh, not in not in a course in miracles, I don't think, but in biblical Jesus. The moment you justify yourself, you're already condemned. Self-condemned. See, so it's like here's how the ego works. It wants you to see a better image of me. So I'll feel better, right? So it's gonna try to convince you, it's gonna try to convince you that it's not that I'm not that bad. Come on, I'm not that bad. Look at there's way worse things. Because getting your agreement with them that they're not that bad, then they can still hang on to what they hate and keep it buried. Because you're only talking about the surface self, the one that we keep buried, that's the one we really can't stand. And so when we get the perception that we can't stand something in the world, let's say it's child trafficking or something like that, that's an effect of the uh unloved, unwanted self, treacherous self projecting that pain outside of itself. See, so as long as you have the upset feeling, you've got something tangible you can use. I hate that this is happening. Great. That's where you embrace a self. And then we also had a conversation about how nothing is really happening, right? But the but that's not that's not true for the self that you made. The self that you made believes that it's really happening, that's why it gets body responses, that's why it's actually able to perpetuate the illusion over apparent an apparent span of time, because it actually the self that is made actually believes in the illusion. It's programmed to believe in the illusion. But that's in no way a bearing on who you are. It is no it it in no way, whatever the self seems to be, is no way has any bearing on who you are. That's why you can claim the truth anytime you want, even after your apparent body dies. A lot of insights have been coming to me about this, about post-death, okay. Um, you mean you never know when you're gonna have that experience where you're all of a sudden disembodied, right? And you're finding yourself uh maybe confused, maybe in darkness, right? So what people are doing is going to the light. What's happening over at the light, right? It's all imagined. What's happening in the light is you're getting a replay of your life. So I'm gonna give you something that's uh really important. And if you register this as really important, it's gonna come up on the replay of your life. What I'm telling you is don't come back. Okay, this place is nowhere, this world is nowhere. Don't come back. Okay, there's gonna be very loving beings. Once you're disembodied, this is what occurs. And you feel very light, and it feels like, oh, it's really beautiful. I really want to stay here. This is still imagination. Okay, you're still in. Your imagination there without a body. You don't need to have a body to have this imagination. So you're imagining that there's these beings, and yes, there's a sense of not having a body. So then everything is heightened. It's like really delicious. It's like really beautiful, really lovely. What happens is they replay your life and then they show you how you're needed in the world. This is what you wanted with the ego is to be needed. They tell you that you're that it's necessary for you to go back to earth and help these people that you love. And what I'm telling you right now, let this replay and in the replay of your life, and you'll make a different decision. Say no. No, I'm not going back to illusion. I only want to go home. I only want it's your choice. You don't have to beg for this. See what's happening is everyone's choosing to come back. They're they think they're important. They think they're they're important here. You don't have to do that. You actually, you actually, you know, it this just occurred to me in the in past weeks, it's kind of been unfolding for me, you know, just this insight about death, apparent death. Because before I got the sense I was shown that you have to see through your illusions before the body passes away. But what I realize now is there's still illusion after the body passes away. There's still illusion. You're in it, you're you're in like a different realm of illusion where you're still choosing, and the worst choice you can fucking make is to take on another life. It's not helping anyone, it's not helpful. Okay. Now, once you have already taken on a life, of course, it's helpful, right? Because you can use it. The reason why you did look at the reason you did take on another life, though. You you were confused. You wouldn't have done it if you weren't confused. You were confused about what this is, and those beings that you encounter in your uh afterlife, so to speak, those are still your split mind from a different aw level of awareness, but those are still your split mind. They're gonna show you something and they're gonna try to get you to make that decision to come back. You have a choice in that. Don't come back, no one needs you. I read the same thing in David Icky Ick I C K E book, except he believes that those beings are tricking you to come back, to keep recording re or reconciling your spark energy. Well, okay, so look at it, look at it like this. Anyone's who anyone who's tricking you, anywhere, anywhere, anywhere, is a reflection of your mind. Okay. I have heard about this dude before. Um, I haven't read any of his books, but I've heard about him. And I think he takes this world to be very real. That's my take on the dude. So he's gonna also very likely believe that those beings are outside of the mind that's projecting those beings that actually wants to be tricked. Recycling. Okay, keep recycling your spark energy. Yeah, I've heard that too. And you know what? That may be a manifestation that is actually people are like, we're gonna get their spark energy. You know, that may be the case. I'm not saying that's not true. Uh uh that that may be the case in the in the perceptual realm, right? Uh, but when it comes down to like patterns, dynamics, stuff like that, what's going on with the ego is it's just still ego trying to convince you in the way, like you wanted this. You scripted, you scripted it like this. You know why you scripted it like this with all these layers like this? You were so afraid of God's judgment and punishment, which is not coming, it's never coming. You were mistaken about that, and that's that's why we made the ego with all these safeguards to make sure we never get back to where we can be annihilated. It's this belief that we can be annihilated, and also, you know, here's another one for the ego. I just uh I just want to mention this for the ego. The ego does not need to be afraid of annihilation. This is not a fearful thing at all. As we're exposing what we made the ego for, the essence of the ego is just going back to knowing its own essence. Okay, it's like essence knows the essence knows itself. Okay. It's kind of like an aspect of the essence has become an ego in time, which can't even really happen. It's so dreamy, it's so dreamy. It's a belief, it's like we want it to happen because of fear. We chose this out of total dress because there was no uh there is no semblance of truth to our thinking or sanity to our thinking when we believed that God would punish us. As soon as we believed that God was would punish us, there was a veil of fear that went up and all kinds of strategy to try to get away from the fear, to try to run away from that. And where are we we running into a lifetime? That's where we're running to. Another lifetime. Okay, that's the and but when you go back to the death realm, you don't know that. They're not telling you that. Those beings in the death realm, they're not telling you, hey, the only reason this world is showing up at all is because you believed you were separate. You're not really separate, you actually belong in creation. They're not saying that to you. Nope. They're telling you about how you're you have a mission in the world. You don't need a mission in the world unless you make that stupid ass decision. You make that first dumb ass decision, and then you have a mission in the world. But the mission becomes, you know, something that can help you see, so that whether you find yourself in the land of the apparent living, which walking dead, let's say, or you find yourself in the death realm, you're able to make the decision that comes from truth, right? The decision that comes from love and not fear. But it's like you feel so good in this death realm. You feel like, oh, these guys just have my best interests in mind. They totally just want me to uh wake up and they want me to wake everyone else up too. And that's why they want me to have an another lifetime. Okay, I'm gonna go back. I liked one story where one dude told uh told that he didn't get it. He didn't see that yes, this was actually, like you said, trickery. It's trickery, it's self-trickery. He didn't see that it was trickery, but he said there hasn't been a day where he made that decision to come back that he wished he would have made the other decision. Right? That he wished he would have made the other decision because they give you free will. These they everyone does. You don't see it as well, and when you're embodied, when you're apparently embodied, it's like a uh the body acts like a big veil itself. Makes things out that aren't really there. The hero of the dream. Thank you, Natalie. Natalie reminded me just now. Uh, of course, in miracles talks about the hero of the dream. Look at that. Look what's going on in the afterlife slash death realm. You're gonna you're gonna be a hero this time. Right? I'm gonna go down there and I'm gonna be a hero. I'm gonna wake everyone up this time. I'm gonna help. I'm gonna be helpful, I'm gonna be a voice for the truth. There is nothing more helpful than you can be but back at home in your awareness. Remember, it only takes one of you, and that's you, to awaken everyone. That means that not only do you see who you're projecting in the death realm, you know, people say they see their grandma or loved different loved ones and stuff like that in the death realm. Not only do you see that, but when you accept your true home, everyone is home with you. There's no one missing, no one's missing. Aloha Thomas. I haven't seen you in a while. It's fun that you're on. Ah, thank you for joining. I love you guys. Thank you for being here. Yeah. Oh, so I have some news in my dating life. Natalie's cracking up. Apparently, I have a plane ticket. I'm gonna be going to Mississippi for a fun time. Yeah, I just um, yeah, just kind of like out of the blue. I've been on Facebook dating. Uh, been having a great time. I've shared a lot about my experiences on Facebook dating. Um, and then out of the blue, this sweetie contacted me and we just had a really nice energy together. And then we started talking with each other um on video, and it was probably we were probably doing that for like four days. He's like, I want to get you over here. And the next thing I know, he coordinated and and also paid for and everything, plane ticket and uh hotel for me, and uh, and even parking, uh, parking at the airport. And it's just has been so sweet. It has been so sweet, and you know, I like I told my mom about this, and I told a couple of my friends about this, and they're just like, what the heck? You know, some of my friends are just like, oh, that's cool. And some of my friends are just like, Are you okay? Yeah, it's like I feel into my guidance. I know what it is, I know when it's like this is great. Yes, this is a yes, because I can feel I can I I can sense whether and anything is uh in alignment, in alignment means do I like it, and also if I don't like it, in in alignment means honesty. I don't like it, and if I find myself still doing what I do not like, in alignment is willingness to recognize that I'm doing something I do not like in my dream, and it's totally okay. That's how these things change. We are totally capable of changing everything, even the foundation of this thing, even death, even aging, even taxes. I don't care. Sickness, we do have it. It just seems like our undoing of it stretches over time. It's okay. It seems like reflections maybe over time keep on coming back that are opposite of what we're saying is the truth. That's okay. They're not proof that the truth is untrue, they're proof that illusions are not true. Okay, they're proof that you the because you don't like it. That's really truth, proof that it's not true. You don't like it. You don't like it, it's not true. Right? You do if you do like it, it is uh let's say it's reflecting truth for you. And whatever you do like can change to don't like to. We reserve the right to change our minds. Oh, I thought I was gonna like that. So I told my friend, uh the sweet young dude, and you know, it occurred to me like uh, you know, this idea that you have to, I've seen through a lot of patterns with the sating thing, it's been amazing. Uh like you have to um give up something, you have to sacrifice something. And it's like, no, I'm I'm fine where I am. I like living alone, I like this. It's like I like everything, it's freaking sweet. I like everything as it is, right? And it's like, no, it's it's not, it's not like we have to give up the things that we like to try to get something else. We don't have to do that. I hear over and over again about people, you know, like they'll get excited about a certain like new romantic friend that they have or something like that, and then put their regular uh things that they are excited about on hold to hang out with that person. Yeah, it's very common, right? And when you when you think in that way, because there's no doing, it's thinking in a certain way. If you watch, you'll see where you abandon yourself. It's like putting all of this attention into a person thinking like they're gonna satisfy you more than you're already satisfying by having your life, right? They're not. So it's like it's like just noticing, really, you don't have to change anything. You don't have to say, I'm not gonna do that. It's really noticing. What do you think? It's really because understanding, you know, when you understand, and you know, this willingness with forgiveness to watch the patterns, when you understand, you're not gonna do the same patterns anymore. It's just really simple like that. You're not gonna keep on doing things you don't want to do so that you can try to get love. There's a lot of wiring though, and programming like that in the unconscious mind that makes us try to keep a certain thing. If it seems like you need to keep anyone, like don't be afraid of losing any friends, even if it's a new romantic relationship, older romantic relationship, whatever. Like be true to what is uh what is congruent for you, what it's truly congruent with you. Because what we do is we abandon ourselves what we actually like, thinking that like in the future we're gonna get more out of them. See, we can be very nurturing and loving towards someone with a secret expectation based on perceiving us as sacrificing. I sacrifice this for them, and then expecting them to be the same way for you, too. This is why these relationships don't work out, that's why people end up fighting, one of them, anyways.
SPEAKER_01Yes, can you talk to the the concept, the idea of course in miracles? Um, your brother is your savior. So, but gosh, the ego's interpretation of that, oh my god, versus the Holy Spirit's right, how that would be directed.
SPEAKER_03Okay, okay, so Natalie's question A Course in Miracles talks about your brother being your savior. That's all people that you interact with at any time. Okay, so what she's saying is the ego can really get hold of that kind of thought, and it's as if you're supposed to do things for them and make them feel better, make them feel okay, like if they're not feeling okay. Uh that's that's a trap a lot of people get in because they'll get so frustrated because it's like now I feel like shit, and that was not the point. That was not the point of it of uh your brother is your savior. Here's how your brother is your savior. It's up to you to be willing to see that he is holy, and that's you know, that's after the likely after you've perceived him as hurting you. See?
SPEAKER_01That's the likely change of events.
Forgiveness In Business Conflict
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that's the likely change of events, but that's how he's your savior. Because when you see him in his truth, you're actually seeing yourself in your truth. That's the way that he's your savior, and to exist for and with him is to be willing to see that he's perfectly untarnished, exactly as he's been created. Nothing has changed at all. That's why he's your savior. You exist for him, of course. That helps him because it opens up the way for him to see himself more clearly. He still has to make the decision to do it, but you're seeing for him in advance of his decision, right? And it totally helps you because now you're seeing yourself more truly. And as it really is a sense of relaxation, you might get a sense of dense energy leaving the energy field when you see your brother with more truth. Now, the way that looks is really simple. A thought crosses your mind about him being diminished in some way. He's not. One way you might see your brother diminished is you might have the perception that you hurt them. You cannot. You cannot see when you when you recognize you could not hurt them and the hurt that they're playing out is actually coming from their own misperceptions, right? You could actually see them in the light of what is actually occurring and help them to see that too. Well, that's going to be a huge relief for them when they see that the suffering is coming from their own misperceptions, that no one hurt them. Now, that's not saying you don't care about their pain. It's not like that at all. It's just that you don't have to perform anything, you're not under an obligation to make any particular expression that shows that reveals that you care. You are not under any obligation like that. Caring is an internal thing. Okay. Uh, you know, it's like you recognize that ooh, uh, you know, we are not alone in experiencing the effects of our thoughts and our seeing. We are not alone in experiencing that. So if someone comes along and is experiencing that with us, that's not like we did something to them. You can't do anything to them. They just came along. Actually, you can look at it like this playfully, joyfully, holding hands, kind of like they're skipping probe, right? Okay. Now put this in any kind of dynamic. Let's say it's rape, okay, just to get make it kind of extreme for you guys. I know that in your lives, you're not experiencing regularly, some of you are, but regularly rape. Okay. Uh you're experiencing things that seem to be way less dramatic than that. But the thing is, these are all equal. There, so it doesn't matter where you're working on it. It doesn't matter in what kind of thing you're working on it. So let's take rape, for instance, right? Beneath the surface dynamic where someone's being really mean to someone else and forcing them to do something against their will, right? Beneath that ident uh that that uh kind of nasty dynamic is like two children laughing and playing and skipping rope and playing out this illusion. Now look at it in the in your life where you know you get the sense that someone disrespected you. It's the same, it is the same. Now, maybe the one the one dealing with disrespect or some kind of slight is gonna think they're having an easier time forgiving than the one who was raped, but that's all a matter of perspective. See, and the real question is is would you be willing to see this way with the person who seems to have disrespected you? What if someone ripped you off? Would you be willing with someone who ripped you off? What about someone who slandered your character? Right? Maybe they diminished your character because of something they said or did. Would you be willing to see look at the scenario? Yourself and them like two happy children. I had a really um profound awakening that's popping up in my mind right now. It might have been about 2016 or so, where I got the perception I was I was deep into running my company Miracle Botanicals. Um and someone apparently took Miracle Botanicals products and was selling them on Amazon. And I'm like, how is this happening? Because we don't have this person as a wholesaler. How would they be getting Miracle Botanicals products? So I noticed this sense of you know, I was already tuned into feeling what things feel like. I noticed this sense of kind of being kind of like raped, like being taken advantage of in a way, where someone's like taking like my this is my baby, this is my product. I've put in all the time and all this effort, and now here's this person just coming and taking it all. Right. So I go, oh, this is a habit. So I got in the shower. This is 10 years ago, it's occurring to me now. I got in the shower and I was determined to see things differently. I was determined to see this person as a playful person coming to help me and that kind of stuff. So I had already, I think before I got in the shower, I had already fired off an email that was like, hey, I didn't give you permission. I'm the only one who can give you permission to sell my products. I did not give you permission to sell my products, right? So take a shower, relax, get into a feeling sense. Again, sensuality. That's what was the first thing that came to my mind with this talk. Get into a feeling sense that everything is perfect. There's really where it's at. It's not so so much what you tell yourself. You know, it's not at all what you tell yourself, it's like your feelings. Because, you know, this telling yourself that I'm talking about is on is like consciously telling yourself. The unconscious telling yourself is the one that's running the show, though, not the conscious part that keeps on making affirmations and stuff like that, right? So you really need to feel it, right? I felt it, I felt the truth that there was nothing harmful occurring here. And then it was really shortly after that. The next time I went back to my computer, um, there was an email from him saying he's sorry and taking all of those listings down off of Amazon, and that was the end of it. I never heard from anyone like that again, trying to take over my brand like that. I just was I just was like, hey, I'm the only one that can give you permission to do that. So also what that example is showing, and this is early on in my A Course in Miracles practice, this is only about two years in, right? I recognize something that I notice a lot of students don't recognize is that there's not any separation between me dealing with this person uh who seems to be stealing my trademark and whatever other practice I'm doing. That's actually part of the practice. You know, when it comes to Jesus saying, all your problems have already been solved, and this course can be applied to the problems you already have. The only problem, uh, the only reason you're not having relief from your apparent problems right now is that you're not consulting this course. If you were consulting this course uh and bringing your problems to what's being said right here in this course, you would see that your problems are solved, but you're not asking for your problems to be solved. The only reason you would see a problem persist is you're not asking it to be solved. So at that time I saw the ego come in with different angles. Like, uh, well, what if this is the end? You can't make money from miracle botanicals anymore. And it's like, I trust the, I trust the progress. I trust whatever's unfolding. You know, it's just like really easy for me to see that thought doesn't mean anything because I trust what's unfolding. Whatever's unfolding is in my best interest, even if it means I can't make any money off miracle botanicals anymore, because now he sold my trademark, you know? So any scenario, it's not like, oh no, don't think about that scenario. It's like, no, this this thought is crossing my mind. I want to see that it's meaningless, you know. And I shared with one of my friends uh about going on a trip to meet this guy. Uh, this sweet, gosh, what a sweetie. It's just amazing how this, this, the way he relates with me is just like really um I'm worthy of it.
SPEAKER_04Let's just say that. I'm worthy of it.
SPEAKER_03Um, yeah, it reflects it, it feels like it just reflects how um I'm being now, you know, it's just like really, really sweet. Anyways, the guy is apparently 35 years old, and apparently I'm 53 years old. We've had video uh chats and everything like that. And this thought occurred to me. I was relating it with uh to my friend. There's this thought it occurs to me that you know, he might see me in person and see more wrinkles than you see on video and spots and stuff like that, and be like, what the fuck did I just get myself into? My friend was like, oh no, no, no, don't even go there, don't even go there. And I'm like, no, no, it's I'm not afraid of any thought that crosses my mind. You know, it's like I see the thought crossing my mind and recognize number one, it's meaningless. Number two, I'm not threatened. I'm not threatened. So it's like forgiveness before anything can unfold. I could show up and he sees me and he's like, oh shit, I had no idea you actually look 53. Right? And he's like, and he's like, never mind. I just want you to get right back on that plane. I'm gonna be like, fuck you, bro. I'm in Mississippi now. I'm staying here. I'm not not with you, obviously. But you know, it's just you just break it down to something that you can see, you know, it's like, okay, here's a fear that I physically might not be desirable or attractive enough in person, even though you know, on video, he's like, What? I must be the luckiest person. He's like super grateful. That's another thing I like just really like about the relating. I just like, I'm like, wow, that is just so sweet. It's just so grateful. I'm like, thank you for uh paying for my flight and and paying for all the things that go along with this trip. And he's like, Oh, you don't even know. It's my pleasure, like just really super sweet like that. Um, but it's noticing that this fear of not being enough, not being good enough, that's just a habit. So it's not to say, oh no, no, no, no, don't think about that thought, don't go there. Because that actually buries it, right? Let the thought occur to you. Feel what it feels like. For me, when I get the sense that what if he does that, it doesn't even feel bad to me. It feels exciting, actually. Right? Call me crazy, but I'm actually very sane. You know, it actually feels exciting. It's like, oh, let's let's see how it is. Let's see how that feels. I'm just excited to experience whatever it is that arises. And, you know, it's like noticing it was it was like the first day we just started talking. You know, he said he likes dancing, he's really cute, you know. It just we've both established that we're both super attracted to each other. You know, it's established that very well. Um, he's he's very cute, and he's um he's just real, real sweet. And I know that if there's any kind of energy that looks like you know, he's not uh fully comfortable with being with me, even if it's because I'm older or for another reason, it doesn't really matter. It's like I understand, no problem. It's not a it's not like something I'm going into. It's like, oh no. But see, it's because I recognize that fear, I could see it, the fear arising. Recognize that there's nothing threatened. See that, and then it just turns into that's okay if that occurs. Then I'll just be hanging out in Mississippi for four days. It'd be fun. I've never been there. Jackson, Mississippi, it's called. Apparently, it's warm there, and I'm going there next month, so I'll be taking maybe one day off one of my talks some next month from the 16th to the 20th in there. And um, right now, I don't know what the temperature is next month, but right now it's like 80 degrees over there, so that'll be fun.
SPEAKER_01And I guess the heart, there's like a lot of blues music there.
SPEAKER_03Blues music. Yeah, we both like dancing. We both like dancing, so there could be a lot of dancing, and you know, we talked about sex definitely.
SPEAKER_04Um, because you know, it's like first thing with both of us, it's like, oh my goodness, you are definitely someone I could have sex with. That's what we're both thinking, right? So we just say that to each other. Like, you're you definitely look like something, someone, something. Yeah, let's say it that way too. You look like something I can get into having some sex with. So it's really innocent and playful like that, you know.
SPEAKER_03Um, and you know, I told him to, even though it seems like I would definitely have sex with him if he was anywhere close to me. Um, I said, I want you to know, neither of us are under any obligation to have sex. Okay, not under any obligation to have sex. Let's just say that right now. It seems like right now we're having video conversations, it seems like we really want to have sex with each other, but neither of us are any are under any of those, uh any of that obligation. And then let's just see how things go. Yeah, really simple and and playful and easy, yeah. And as far as you know, um any kind of term or anything like that, it was like, is it gonna lead to anything? I don't care. It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter. I'm in a zone or a mode where I and and you know, I have every intention is staying in this mode. We're just being open to what's presented to me. How does it feel? Do I like it? Does that sound good? Does that feel really there's it's a sensual, you know? We say, does that sound good? That's really good saying, actually, because sound, it actually a feeling is a sound when you break it down, it's resounding in the body's energy field. So you, you know, it's like you feel, does it feel better than me staying at home? You know, when he's asking me if I want to come over there, I'm going, hmm, okay, well, let's see what the offer is. Like, what is happening? I have my own room. That's nice. I have a plane ticket paid for, parking at the airport paid for all meals and everything when I'm over there, and a really cute dude to hang out with who's super, super sweet to me and uh says the sweetest, nicest things. Um, yes, that sound that sounds and feels a little bit better than being right here.
SPEAKER_04Just a little, but enough. But enough where I said, yes, I'll do it.
SPEAKER_03This just sounds like fun, it feels exciting, and you know what I see is there's no reason why the whole life can't be just a series of how does that feel? Do I like it? Right? And and that, and the reason is that when something you get to a point where when something is unlike, there's no resistance to it. It's okay. I accept that signal. Thank you. I accept that signal. You know, I found myself staying in situations longer than I thought I would, right? Because of not accepting that about myself, that I don't like that. And this person needs comfort. That's a story. That's a story.
SPEAKER_00No one's doing anything to us. Guaranteed you're gonna have a lot of holy encounters.
SPEAKER_01All kinds of people, yeah.
How To Let Fear Expand Safely
SPEAKER_03Thank you. That that's true, Natalie. She's saying you're guaranteed you're gonna have a lot of holy encounters with a lot of people. You know why? Because you're not caught up trying to make your life into something, you're letting life just move right through you and do whatever it likes. Right? It's doing, and and you know, one's one way to say that what we've been over recently with a Course in Miracles deep dive, Jesus said time is under his direction, right? So so there's nothing, there's nothing for me to do but enjoy and extend love, have holy encounters. I'm having holy encounters with people because I'm not trying to manage my own experience. I'm just accepting my experience for what it is. And and here's another thing: recognizing only good things can come to you. You know why they're all good? Because they are reflecting exactly what's useful for you right now. Only good things can come to you. You'll start seeing things, you'll start seeing that they're all good more and more, and feeling it. The more you feel in your body's energy field that things that come to you are all good and all helpful, the more you do that, the more you're gonna see it that way. Remember, perception is totally projection. See it as helpful and feel it, let yourself feel it. It might take a little bit of practice, but see, this is actually bringing things to reason. It's not like an affirmation, it's bringing it to reason because it actually is helpful. You're not seeing it as helpful, makes the same kind of manifestation have to keep wrapping around. It has to keep coming around because you haven't seen it as helpful. First, it's helpful, then it's funny. Right? And then you can laugh at it. It's really good. It's only when you don't see things as helpful, when you're not extending gratitude. Remember, that's the minimum of you feeling like yourself, is where you have gratitude. That's the minimum level of consciousness where you feel like you're you're yourself, right? So as long as you have gratitude, you're gonna be seeing clearly, really. Really, it changes your whole state when you go below the below gratitude. It it changes like if you were to look at it with one of those tools that can measure what your uh vibration is, there's just like a major drop as soon as there's not gratitude. And I've seen that with um getting the sense that I need to teach someone something, self-importance. Oh, I'm like, oh, that's self-importance when my energy, I could I could sense the drop in the energy as if I need to tell someone something or I need to teach them something that's not just automatically and in joy coming in joy. See, there's a sense of contraction, there's contraction when the ego's trying to teach, there's expansion in the body's energy field when the Holy Spirit is coming through. That's really nice. So I really love it. Now I have had experiences where the willingness is building to allow the Holy Spirit to take control of the situation, right? Where the willingness is building, and what I feel it like is the energy of resistance getting stronger in my body's energy at in my body's energy field at first because of fear, but the willingness to go through the fear, then it's like, oh, expansion. How do you go through fear? I want to uh I want to um articulate that to you. How I go through what I mean when I say go through fear. That's allowing the fear, fearful feeling to be sensed fully, letting it expand. Where is it? Locate it, right? You could locate the fearful feeling. Where is it for you? There's no right or wrong answer, by the way. Uh notice, notice where it shows up and then see if you could expand it into the whole energy field and soak in it. It can't hurt you. It's it seems Like it can hurt you only because you're trying to resist it, compartmentalize it, dismiss it, bury it, things like that. That keeps it threatening when you're actually allowing it to expand into your sense of self through the whole body form and feel it there, it becomes more like something enjoyable. And it is, it's really an interpretation. I've heard it said before when I used to do Kundalini Yoga, the Kundalini Yoga teacher would say something like this. It's only fearful because you're not seeing it as it is. It's a total interpretation. Some people might interpret the same feeling as pain, some others might uh interpret as excitement. And one thing, what that yoga teacher said was that was it stress, anxiety, fear? That's it. It all comes down to fear. Fear is really excitement without the breath. That's what he said. And you know, I was doing DVDs at the time, so I was replaying those DVDs over and over again. So kind of getting conditioned with what this yogi was saying. His name is Ravi, Ravi Singh, in case you want to look him up. He teaches Kunalini Yoga. And he would say some pretty profound things in those videos. And when I started Kundalini Yoga, that was well before a course in miracles, probably like eight years before a course in miracles. And some of the things he was saying at that time, I was like, whoa, I was it was like giving me pause, you know, and I was having I was having some insight into um deeper meanings when he's talking about things when we're we're flapping our arms forever, and it feels like, when is he gonna say it's done? Like, right? It's like wild, and and someone asked me about this on the yogi show too, Just a Yogi. Again, I was on Justa Yogi. That's a YouTube channel. I was on it on Thursday, this past Thursday, I think it was the 20th or something. Maybe it was the 19th.
SPEAKER_00Um yeah, we were talking about how.
SPEAKER_03When we say meaningless, we're not saying lacking power. Your thoughts are very, very, very powerful because you made them, they're made up, they're not about you, they're not your real thoughts, and yet because you've given them life, so to speak, they're powerful. That's different from meaningful. See that you want to make sure that you're seeing them as meaningless, but not powerless. Because powerless will make you dismiss them while they go on making your world like hell, like a nightmarish hell. You don't want that. Awakening is awakening to the loveliness that you are. It's not allowing your perception to tarnish your awareness of what you are. You know, it's to you as if as if it's up to you as if you can get that recognition from anyone else. You can't, it only comes from you, and you're certainly not gonna get it from your perception. Remember what perception is, it's coming off of a thought of separation. Does it improve as the thought of separation resolves? Yes, it does, but people get caught up the wrong in this in this way, like as if the perception didn't improve, therefore, I must be doing it wrong. No, this is giving you the opportunity right here. What you're perceiving right now, it's be it's giving you the opportunity to see it as a blessing here. How do you see it as a blessing? Again, because you guys need to need to see this again. How do you see it as a blessing? That's where it wraps back around to. How do you see it as a blessing? I'm saying you need to see it as a blessing. How do you see it as a blessing? You accept the self that sees it as not a blessing. Actually, that self needs to be accepted. As the as the self is accepted for seeing it as not a blessing, this is where the honesty comes in. I see this as not a blessing. What do I want? What do I really want? Do I want that thing to change or do I want to see it as a blessing? That's really what it comes down to. What do you want more? Do you want that thing to change or do you want to see it as a blessing? You got to decide. Because when you when you want to see it to change more than you want to see it as a blessing, you're getting neither.
SPEAKER_04And here's the thing. So that's why it comes down to willingness. You see the choice there, right? Right?
SPEAKER_03Do I want this a change or do I want to see it as a blessing? The ego is going to say, of course, I want it to change, and then I'll see it as a blessing. See how it is? It's backwards. When you see, once you see it as a blessing, it has changed. That's the thing. It's completely changed. It's changed for you. If it's not changed for you, you haven't seen it as a blessing. You're you're you're not doing it yet. And that's just because the willingness isn't strong enough. So it's okay. That's okay too. It's not like when am I gonna get enough willingness? It's like, no, just gently okay. It's like this. I'm not seeing this as a blessing yet. Good to know. That's it. I still want to see it as a blessing. Good to know. Oh, good for you. Do you want to see it as a blessing? Yes. Do I want to see it as a blessing more than I want that thing to change? You can use it on it on anything. Let's use it on President Trump. I love that. I love that example. Do I want to see President Trump? It depends on what you are, what you like, if you like President Trump or not in your perception. It doesn't really matter, either way.
unknownOkay.
Body Image And Wellness Programming
SPEAKER_03Do I want to see President Trump impeached more than I want to see him as a gift, as a blessing? And everything he's doing as a blessing. What do I want more? Do I want to see him as impeached? Just be honest. It's okay. When you're being honest, you're seeing more. Like, no, you know what? I'm not practicing a course in miracles on this right now. Fuck him. Right? Be honest. I'm not saying that for myself. Not at all. I see him as a blessing naturally. It's naturally. Um now the other side is right. Do I want to see President Trump smashing all the people, all the Democrats, let's say? That's the kind of kinds of memes I see. Do I want to see President Trump arresting, let's say, arresting all the Democrats? Or do I want to see the Democrats as a blessing? See? See, these are these are actually choices that are actually being made. These are actually choices that are actually being made. It's like, but it's it's a it's see, since you don't know you have this choice, you may be automatically, and the automatic one is gonna be for the ego one. It's gonna be for I want Trump impeached, maybe worse than that. I don't know. Or I want him to arrest a bunch of Democrats. It's not gonna be that I want to see anyone as a blessing automatically. That is a choice. That's a choice you have to make. So, see, this choice point is coming up all day long. You see that? When I just mentioned thoughts like this, you can see how it's giving you opportunities all the time. Now, for myself, I'm not having as many opportunities uh at this point, but I have had a lot of opportunities. Uh, now the opportunities are different. It's more like just opposite opportunities to see more habits that people are playing out and how they're affecting uh and how they're uh the habits themselves, the habits of thinking, are affecting worldly habits and are also being um taught to other people to pick up on those same worldly habits. Just knowing we can and we do have the power to stop playing the same habits. You know, it's meant to give you a sense of relaxation in the moment where you're really perceiving something that seems to be a problem or seems to be a threat. This is going to occur. Things are gonna pop up that seem to be a problem or seem to be a threat. Will you see them as a blessing? Will you remember this in the moment? Will you see yourself as a blessing when you're reacting to things in a way that you think you shouldn't? Will you be accepting of even the voice that says you shouldn't be reacting this way? Oh, it's okay. You shouldn't have said it like that. Oh, it's okay. Everything's all right. You know, that the more you're willing to see this way, the more you're going to uh keep on seeing it like this more until it gets to be your uh natural personality. It's kind of like becomes your natural way of being where you just see everything as a blessing. Oh, it must be good. It seems like it's not good, but it must be good, right? I just spilled something on the floor. It seems like it's not good, but it must it it must be good. You know, automatically that shifts the way you are with the circumstance, it makes it so that even when you go uh clean it up, it's a graceful thing. It's not like ah fucking uh rubbing it, complaining, thinking about other things. No, when I perceive something that seems to be a problem or seems to be something I don't want, it makes me more present. I slow down. I oh anything that seems to be a problem, anything that seems to be broken, even a car not working, even a website not working, anything like that, it makes me more alert because I'm aware that it must be projected, it must be coming from a thought of separation, and this perception of an apparent problem is giving me an opportunity to let it be undone. So sharing with uh with the owner of the wellness place where I go about some of this kind of stuff. And you know, it just came up, people are just at least in my perception, super open to you know there's nothing here. She was one of those. You know there's nothing here. She's like, I know, but I'm still freaking out. I'm like, okay, look at this, you know, let's check it a little, let's check this out a little bit. And you know, I saw like the look on her face, she's like, oh my god, I need to get so much better at this. And I go, you just recognizing that it's anything that you can even do is huge. This is huge. Look at it like that because what's happening when you're talking about it this way, like you're looking at yourself as not being good at it at all. You're actually locking yourself into that mindset that you're not good at it. So that makes it really, really hard. That makes you have to spend a lot of money, hire a bunch of people, all this stuff. I go, look, I talk for hours. I got over a thousand hours of talking about this kind of stuff. You could just listen to that stuff. And you know what? It's actually free. You could just, she's like, what? It's free? Are you kidding? And I go, no. And she's like, why would you, you know, I don't know. She said why. She's like, that is just so sweet. It's like the nicest thing. And I go, well, you know what? It's the only thing that this whole world is for. It's actually the only thing, and other people don't know it, apparently. I must have taught them not to know it, but other people apparently don't know it. So you, you know, you just have to know it for yourself. You have to know what the truth is for yourself. And she's working in this wellness thing, right? Where all these people are coming in, they're mostly giving IVs. I'm not, I'm not in there for the IVs. I'm getting, I'm in there for these other, they're more like ancillary therapies to the IVs, uh, compression, red light therapy, sauna, and cryotherapy, right? She's telling me that people are coming in all day long, just tired, tired of this life. Right. And she's like, they're telling me how you know they're just exhausted. They can't do this anymore. And I go, yeah, I know. I hear I overhear them all the time. When I'm in compression, I'm in a room full of people with my arms spread out like wings. It's kind of looks like I'm on the cross, as someone told me that before. It looks like you're on the cross. I can't move or anything. And I'm real relaxed because I'm getting compression therapy. So I'm like, really, it's just like in a state of meditation, basically. But I can still hear what people are saying around the room. And oh, yeah, I do hear that. And one of them, I'll just share this one with you guys because who knows? Some of you might have this going on too. There was a woman who seemed to be very large, and she wanted to get on their weight loss. They do this weight loss thing where they help you with IVs. Somehow IVs help you with weight loss. I don't know. Um, but she was saying, she was saying, my problem is I don't drink enough water. And I'm like, oh my goodness, I I I heard that. I'm like, hmm. Anyways, later on, it occurred to me that this is conditioning, this is programming. Um, guilty, it's guilty programming, that there's something that you're doing to make your body fat. No, that's not anything that you're doing, it's the way you're thinking, and that's one of those thoughts that would have an effect of making a body somehow unhealthy unhealthy, maybe fat. Um, but I don't do this enough. How much has that been programmed in in all different ways? I don't do this enough, or I do this too much. That's why my body is like this. Remove that. That's a miscreative thought because it makes cause and effect illusion. Cause really is in the mind. Your body looks the way it is because it's a reflection of your psyche. It's not because you do too much or too little of anything, it's really a reflection of your psyche. So I'm overhearing this whole thing where, you know, there's agreement that she probably doesn't drink enough water, right? And then there's um kind of like a, you know, a really nice, kind sales pitch to enlist the services. I'd really love to help you get to your goals and stuff like that. And it's just a phase of awakening. I see it as a phase of awakening where it's like these energies, these people are coming together for teaching and learning. That's the only way you're ever going to come together. So here's this nurse. She's well-meaning. She believes in the protocol. It seems to me that she believes in it. Maybe not wholeheartedly. Actually, definitely not wholeheartedly. None of us wholeheartedly believe in illusions. That's why they're shaky as fuck. Okay. So she's not wholeheartedly. There's a perception that she's into it, but not even really that strongly there, even, you know. Uh, but in my mind, in my consciousness, I'm completely certain about what's causing her perception that she weighs too much. See, that's it. That's the thing. It's not that her body is overweight. There's no such thing as that. That's make believe. Notice how I worded it. That's what's causing her perception that she's overweight. See, when the perception changes, The body can be the same exact size. And you just don't have a perception that anything's wrong. Right? If that isn't is uh manifesting as an unhealthy thing that feels bad to you, that's that's the thing. By letting you yourself experience what you do not like with total acceptance for the self that's not liking, let's say in this situation, excess pounds. Let yourself feel that. Remember, this is about sensuality. Um, feelings that you don't like are also part of sensuality because the sense, right? So it's feeling that sense, like over, I'm overweight, right? And I don't like it. Would I change it? Yes, I would. Okay. So then it comes to would I rather have gratitude for my body the way it is, or have it skinny. Right? When you see it, when you see it, the the choice is automatic. Of course, you want gratitude, right? Because chasing the skinny body is never gonna get you gratitude, and even if it gets you a a skinny body, it's kind of like whack-a-mole. You whacked one of your problems, and three more will pop up. You ever played that game? Whack-a-mole? Yeah, that's a good game, it's a good game to play because when you play that game and you're you know, you're waiting for moles to pop up and you're gonna whack them, three more pop up. It's like that with every with everything. So, do you want gratitude? That's sensation. Gratitude is something that you feel. Would you rather have gratitude for your body, or would you rather it be skinny in your perception? When you see it, you're not gonna unsee it. Of course, you'd rather have gratitude for what is right now. In fact, that's the only way it can make changes that are sustainable. That's the only way your mind makes sustainable change. See, the kind of change that people chase after by doing certain things and trying to get whatever, that's not sustainable. It's like you always have to prop it up. It's like the battle of the bold people. As long as they're on their program and they're doing everything right and they're suffering, they can be skinny. And then when they stop suffering so much and they start eating a little bit more, all of a sudden they're like, and then they're like depressed. One of my friends told me, this was many years ago, they said, God, it's like I work out so hard and I eat so well, and I sacrifice so much, and I just let myself go for one weekend, and it seems like I just blew up. Yeah, it's unsustainable like that. You're not asking for what you really want. See how the world is upside down and backwards here? You're not asking for what you really want. You do not want a different body, you don't want to go from fat to skinny body, really. You want to go from uh you want to go from illusion to truth. That's what you want, and then it's not gonna matter what body seems to be manifesting because you have used those upset feelings in relation to the body, bringing them to the truth, and that may be why when the thought occurs to me that this cute young dude might take one look at me in person and be like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_04Go back to Washington, it just makes me laugh. I don't have any fear of it at all.
Closing Thanks And How To Connect
