I pretty much knew right"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":464.55,"endTime":468.51,"body":"away upon, you know, entering"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":468.51,"endTime":473.13,"body":"law school that my interest was"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":468.51,"endTime":473.13,"body":"being in a courtroom, you know,"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":473.13,"endTime":475.2,"body":"the thought of like,"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":473.13,"endTime":475.2,"body":"representing banks and big"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":475.2,"endTime":478.8,"body":"companies that really appeal to"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":475.2,"endTime":478.8,"body":"me. I just wanted to do"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":478.8,"endTime":481.74,"body":"something exciting, because I"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":478.8,"endTime":481.74,"body":"was a bit of an adrenaline"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":481.74,"endTime":485.82,"body":"junkie, although I didn't"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":481.74,"endTime":485.82,"body":"realize it at the time. So I"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":485.82,"endTime":488.4,"body":"graduated from law school, and I"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":485.82,"endTime":488.4,"body":"moved back to New Jersey and I"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":488.4,"endTime":491.19,"body":"started practicing in New"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":488.4,"endTime":491.19,"body":"Jersey, primarily as a criminal"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":491.19,"endTime":494.94,"body":"defense attorney. I mean, I'm"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":491.19,"endTime":494.94,"body":"handling criminal offenses,"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":494.94,"endTime":498.09,"body":"everything from traffic"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":494.94,"endTime":498.09,"body":"offenses, to detail DUIs, to,"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":498.63,"endTime":502.71,"body":"you know, serious felony cases,"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":498.63,"endTime":502.71,"body":"not quite murder cases, because"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":502.71,"endTime":505.5,"body":"you don't usually get those till"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":502.71,"endTime":505.5,"body":"you're like 10 to 20 years into"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":505.5,"endTime":509.49,"body":"your career. But, you know,"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":505.5,"endTime":509.49,"body":"pretty serious felony cases"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":509.49,"endTime":512.19,"body":"where clients were looking at"},{"speaker":"Chris Spear","startTime":509.49,"endTime":512.19,"body":"1020 years in prison."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":513.21,"endTime":516.21,"body":"Yeah, so I did that for"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":513.21,"endTime":516.21,"body":"five years, was fairly"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":516.21,"endTime":518.88,"body":"successful. I mean, it was"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":516.21,"endTime":518.88,"body":"fulfilling, but I was also"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":518.88,"endTime":523.44,"body":"burning out as it happened. And"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":518.88,"endTime":523.44,"body":"I didn't really know at the"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":523.44,"endTime":526.65,"body":"time, that was what was"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":523.44,"endTime":526.65,"body":"happening. But I mean, looking"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":526.65,"endTime":530.67,"body":"back now definitely happens. And"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":526.65,"endTime":530.67,"body":"so you know, that kind of like,"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":530.7,"endTime":536.19,"body":"gradually got to a point where I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":530.7,"endTime":536.19,"body":"just didn't want to be work."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":537.21,"endTime":539.34,"body":"Didn't want to do much other"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":537.21,"endTime":539.34,"body":"than, like, watch television or"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":539.34,"endTime":544.59,"body":"get off my couch. So I at the"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":539.34,"endTime":544.59,"body":"time I was practicing with a I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":544.59,"endTime":547.2,"body":"have like kind of a dual"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":544.59,"endTime":547.2,"body":"situation going on. I have my"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":547.2,"endTime":552.06,"body":"own small, firm solo practice."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":547.2,"endTime":552.06,"body":"And I was also working for"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":552.06,"endTime":553.56,"body":"another attorney doing some"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":552.06,"endTime":553.56,"body":"work."},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":554.61,"endTime":558.03,"body":"So I wound down my practice, I"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":554.61,"endTime":558.03,"body":"basically, you know, finished"},{"speaker":"Unknown","startTime":558.03,"endTime":562.74,"body":"out my cases.
