SPEAKER_01WC is on the air exclusively on KSJE. People are strange.
SPEAKER_04When you're a stranger, faces look ugly when you're alone, women seem wicked, when you're unwanted, streets are on you when you're down, when you're strange, faces come out of the rain. When you're strange, no one remembers your name. When you're strange, when you're strange, when you're strange people astray, when you're a stranger, it's a straight out of there When you're alone, when we're seeing with you, when you're unwanted, straight star of evil when you're down When you stray face to rain When you stray No one remember straight When you strain When you stray When you're trained, I just come out of the rain when you're afraid Noah in balance today when you're strange when you're afraid when you're strange Oh my you know um I love the doors and that was that's great.
SPEAKER_08And I didn't you know you sent me your favorites. I don't know that favorites, but the songs that you like. And they're not songs particularly that you guys perform, are they?
SPEAKER_06No, yeah. Just an eclectic mix of weird stuff that I like.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, well, I like it too, so I think it'll I think it will be just fine, honestly. Anyway, sir, um you uh you I m let's see, how did I originally Oh I met you through music from Asada. Yes. Your band was playing at that time, which was Tw Twisted Rebel. And that first song is let's talk about that song for just a second, and the situation under that song. So I um a few years ago, this was 19 uh 19. Yeah, no, 2021, uh, you came to the capo room uh for a Halloween show, yeah, and you guys were all you guys you uh were dressed to the nines in costumes. So we all had costume. Rin was in costume, she was a fairy or an angel or something. I was uh chef. You were um Harley Quinn. Oh yeah, oh yeah. And then, but uh everybody, and I think uh the time guy you were with the time was uh Joker. I know I think Tim was the only one not in costume. Tim and his wife.
SPEAKER_06He came as a rock star, he's gonna be.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, because I asked him, What are you dressed as? And when he told me, I was like, oh, I should have known. Because he is a rock star. But anyway, um, so that's kind of dissipated and you have kind of grown on. I I want to go back though, what how how did you start in music? I mean, what got you so into it?
SPEAKER_06I Oh gosh, okay. So my dad was always in bands for forever, and I remember being four years old and he'd have his buddies over and he could tell that I could actually hit a note. So yeah. So he would he actually got me to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with him with his band. Oh, wow. And I don't know, it just lit the passion there. I I remember I seriously was four years old, but I remember it. I remember just doing that.
SPEAKER_08I can understand that.
SPEAKER_06And so yeah, I think I had my first band. I moved to Albuquerque to go to college, and at nineteen I had my my first band there.
SPEAKER_08U and M, did you go to UN? Did you really?
SPEAKER_06Yep. Got my dual license, special education, general education.
SPEAKER_08Wow.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. And so yeah, I used to play all over in Albuquerque. It was a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_08That was the early days, which is where probably a lot of fun too. Oh yeah. Young and single, right? Or no?
SPEAKER_06No, no, not really.
SPEAKER_08No, okay, never mind that. Forget the single part. Well listen, I am I I've just I I I remember seeing a music from Asada, and we got we had Julie and the boys too. They they came on, they did a show with us. Um but I I have seen you a couple other times and playing with your band. And um you I I there's just something about the way you are with the crowd. I mean, I don't have you ever met a stranger? No. I love everyone. I I was gonna say, uh I well I and I'm very flattered that you have decided to take time out of your day to do this with me. But let me get this out of the way. It's the is the KSJE. Or this is K SJ E. And we are doing a wake-up call, and it's beautiful Sunday morning. Oh my gosh, it's July the 5th, the day after the fourth.
SPEAKER_06My kid's birthday.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, and you know you were telling me that earlier. Be sure you tell, is this your son or your daughter?
SPEAKER_06Both. Uh so my youngest son and my middle daughter, they share a birthday two years apart.
SPEAKER_08Two years how did you do that? Did you do that on purpose?
SPEAKER_06It was magic.
SPEAKER_08Did you did you do C-section or natural?
SPEAKER_06Natural. Exactly the same. Oh my gosh. Yep. One was due on July 4th, one was due on July 6th, and they both came on July 5th. So Wow. Fantastic. Two years apart. 2011, 2013.
SPEAKER_08Well, uh, tell them happy birthday from me. And thanks for um sharing their mom with me. Um but yeah, we you know, we're gonna talk a little bit more too about maybe making you part of uh fixture. So we'll let you decide that if you don't get beat up too much. Uh I'll make sure that I feed you, let's have a drink or two, like I do Ren. That's how I got Ren cooked.
SPEAKER_06We miss you, Ren.
SPEAKER_08Yes. Oh my gosh, I wish I had my dad waited some time in Japan.
unknownWe'll talk about that later.
SPEAKER_06And my dad did too.
SPEAKER_08Did he? With service, right?
SPEAKER_06Yep.
SPEAKER_08Dad Marine or Army or Air Force? Air Force. Air Force, yeah. My dad was a Marine. All right, listen, you gave me a bunch of great songs. I honestly I'm I don't know exactly. Oh, I gotta do this. Because she's one of my all-time favorites, and I just I just love the fact that you wanted to play her for sure. How about some Patsy Klein? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Sweet dreams of you.
SPEAKER_08It's hard. Whoa, we gotta hold off here. Let's I'm not quite ready for another song yet. But we're gonna play that one for sure. That's another one that you had uh suggested, right? Motherfucking. Yeah, by Dan Zing.
SPEAKER_15Danzig, yeah.
SPEAKER_08Is it Danzig? Danzig. Yeah, Glenn Danzig was it. Anyway, we'll get to that. And um Yeah, I'm not used to doing typically handles all of this. I don't know exactly. Well, I'm talking your ear off. Yeah, well, and you know, I I typically make people wait until we're on air, but we were talking a little bit of stuff that I wanted to it was kind of personal between you and me, but um Yeah, I guess I'm not near as uh animated as I am now. Nope. Well, we did enjoy some smoked angel fire, I think it is, whiskey that my uh oldest boy turned me into uh Christmas this past year. And I ran out, and so I had to go buy a new bottle yesterday, and I thought, well, shoot, if she wants to try it all, and I did not know you're a whiskey lady.
SPEAKER_06Well, it's definitely a sipping whiskey.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, oh yeah, no, it doesn't not it's not a mixing whiskey, it's not and even it doesn't taste that well with the smoke either. We did we tried I tried mine smoke. Anyway, that's kind of off the subject. K-S-J-E, this is uh uh 90.91033. I'm David, and we got lovely Sarah sitting over across from me, sitting in for Rand, who is gosh, in Japan. Lucky lady in Japan. And we are gonna hear she's gonna do a show from there in the next couple of weeks. Yeah, at least I that's kind of the plan. So we'll see how that goes. Alright, so you've been doing music since you were five years old, four years old? Yeah, four years old on stage even?
SPEAKER_06Well, my dad would have me fill in with his band. Well, not fill in, but he would let me sing with his band. But yeah, I've been I think like I started my first band at at nineteen in Albuquerque. And so Well, I didn't start it. I actually joined their band.
SPEAKER_08That's that's kind of you don't have to look for musicians because I've been wanting to put a band together. Because I I want to do a a couple of songs and you've you've been so kind when I've seen you out somewhere. But you don't just do it with me, you do it with everybody. You get out with the microphone and make 'em sing.
SPEAKER_06Yes, I do.
SPEAKER_08It's fun. It well, I some people don't like it, but you know, it scares them a little bit. You know, and when I do qu karaoke gigs, uh I will get the microphone out there and I'll make people sing. And I had one guy, he refused, he just flat refused, because I kept waving him over, right? So I get the the wireless mic and I go over there and I said, And I'm singing, right? And he's standing there. I said, And I and I I turned to him and I said, You know this song, right? And I'm doing it on a microphone. He goes, Yes. And I said, Come on, sing with me. And he started singing just while I was singing, and then I shut up and put the mic in his face. He went crazy. He did a great job. He wasn't good, but it was okay.
SPEAKER_06But you know, I've noticed that, you know, all taking the the mic out and people are trying to wave me off, like, no, I don't want to sing this, and then all of a sudden they just bust out like amazing.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that's the one that you take in the crowd. Yeah. I think I did that one too. Um but I do, I want I want to take a song. Uh uh, and it's a song that I think let me just preface this, and I do I think I've done this before in the show. I want to check and make sure we're on time. Ren keeps me back grounded. I can't we may have a pro I may have to get a timer that goes off. Anyway, um uh there's a song I I wanted to do a piece of my heart, a Janice Joplin tune. Years ago. I wanted to make that into a country song.
SPEAKER_06Not the Faith Hill version.
SPEAKER_08Oh, hold on now. I that's what I wanted to do, right? I didn't Faith Hill hadn't had it out. It hadn't been out as a as it hadn't been out as a country song.
SPEAKER_07And so I went to a lady that I knew and she's like, I'm not doing Janice Joplin, she screams, she screams I can't I can't understand it.
SPEAKER_08And I'm like, oh okay. And fast forward two years later, Faith Hill takes that song into the top ten. Yes, I don't like her version either. I mean it's okay, but I feel like with the right person, that would have been even better. It would have been a number one hit for sure. I have a song that I want to do. And you think about this? Have you heard of You don't know who Freedom Pain is? She did a song called Bandigold. And it's uh it's a great tune. Matter of fact, we may play it on the show if we have time so that you can hear it. It's a great tune, and I think and it's it's a pop song, and I think it'd make a great country song because it's about a gal that gets left at the altar. So not at the altar, I think after it gets left on her honeymoon or something. I don't remember exactly how the words went, but yeah. Yeah, I'd like to hear that. Anyway, it's well, you know what, let's put it let's put since we're talking about it, let's see if I can find it right now. Um it's such a great song, and I think your voice um might be perfect for it.
SPEAKER_06Well, you know, anytime I'm playing, you can come up and sing a song.
SPEAKER_08I know. I I realize that I've just too freaking chicken.
SPEAKER_06I'm not uh no.
SPEAKER_08But if I if if I rehearse, maybe, you know, I don't know, maybe I could do it. But anyway, let's listen to this. Bandigold, free to paint, is kind of about But it's a sad song. It's a great two.
SPEAKER_17Now that the gold. Oh, that's a lift is a man of gold. Oh, that's a left of the dream. It's a man of a gold. And a belly. I was love the big. I have never known. We're doing this. Like bursty. That you think go. Oh, that's a bad dog. Oh, that's bad. It's a baby on the dream. But that's a baby. Don't you know this happy? Smill with blue. That does that. Thank you. All that land is a band of home. All that land of the dreams are hold. It's a band of gold. And the dream up. What not could be? If you are still here with me. The jumping gold. All that is.

SPEAKER_08Oh my gosh. I you know what? I guess I absolutely love that tune. And I know you were like, listen, I do appreciate it. I was turning on the microphone. We're gonna have a lot more music next hour. I'm gonna do painter song. And I love painter. Not just the color, but the woman. For sure. Alright, so we got lots more coming up. Stick around.
SPEAKER_14Busted flattened Ben Rouge, waiting for a train on us feeling near as faded as my Jews. Bobby thumbed a diesel dam, just a foreign rain. The rode us all the way into New Orleans. I pulled my harpoon out of my dirty red bandana. I was playing soft while Bobby sing the blue. When she walked for sharp and time, I was holding Bobby's hand in the mat. We sang every song that driven. Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. You know, feeling good was good enough for me. Good enough for me and my bobby. From the Tucky combine through the California sun. Yep, I'm baby. One day I'm new to snow. I let him slip away. He's looking for that home. And I hope we find it. But I'm trained on tomorrow. Bobby's body next to mine. Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose. Nothing. That's only Bobby left me. But a feeling good was easy alone when he sang the boost. Good enough for me and my Bobby.
SPEAKER_09La da da La-da. La da la da La Babay La-la-da-da-da. La ba-be La la la.
SPEAKER_05On a man of my love.
SPEAKER_08Yes, love me some Miss Bobby McGee. I don't know about you, but I just love me. Uh Janice Joblin. Yeah, absolutely. I don't know. I hope, um, I hope you're doing okay over there. I don't think I turned you on. I haven't turned you on yet. There you go. There you go. You turned on? Yep. Okay. You feel turned on? I can barely hear my headset for some reason. Alright, well listen, um Let me get the particulars out of the way. K S J E. I just love these guys. Scott Mickel's a great guy. Do you know Scott? I know you do have done some several gigs around. Um several gigs around. Let me ask you this. Playing it in a band, I know it was lots of fun. And you know, you said you got a rehearsal tomorrow. Some rehearsals tomorrow with the with the new band.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_08What's the new name gonna be? Can we let that other band yet?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I think I alright. So we were gonna do bad influence. We thought that was kind of cool, and then we're gonna be able to do that. Yeah, you said we got an attack, yeah.
SPEAKER_08That was great.
SPEAKER_06But I think we're we're deciding on twist of fate.
SPEAKER_08I think I like that even better.
SPEAKER_06And not a twisted rebel.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. You guys did a great job. Um Well, listen, and I know you're keeping the same uh guitar player. Lead guitar player, which I adored him and his wife were fantastic folks. Is that what is that? Is that your phone? Maybe it's my phone. I don't know. It was your phone, wasn't it? Anyway, um there for a second. I always think Rin would have handled it up. I I'm gonna made my blood talker. Anyway, so him and uh your bass player, I don't think I know this guy.
SPEAKER_06Ross of Argus, yeah. He was a which was a rebel too. Was he? Okay, well then I do know him.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, that was a great group, honestly. And your drummer?
SPEAKER_06He doesn't know new drummers right now. Yeah, and we've we've had a few. We'll see who we end up with who wants to be able to do that. And then we have Gilbert Rodriguez, he's he's he's singing.
SPEAKER_08No, you haven't had a keyboard player, have you?
SPEAKER_06I haven't seen you with a keyboard player, but yeah. Oh, he's great.
SPEAKER_08Listen, I I I know you're very passionate about doing it. I mean, uh you can tell when you're on stage. And I can tell right now, and I'm not trying to embarrass you, but you have that glitter in your eye when you talk about the band or or performing. Yeah. Um I love it. Yeah, I mean, what how does it make you feel? I mean, the the crowd, I know you feed off the crowd like that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Um and you always get them involved, whether they want to be or not.
unknownI know.
SPEAKER_08Have you ever had anybody just like you to get away from them when you ask them to see?
SPEAKER_06Not because, but it I can tell when if if they're getting too grouchy, I'll move on to the next person. But it's funny because most people actually want to want to try undercover or even, you know, go up into them and say, You always pick good things to do that too.
SPEAKER_08I don't remember which one I did, but uh it was really well.
SPEAKER_06I do my things that we quite a bit.
SPEAKER_08I don't think it would be losing. I don't think it would be more job with it. You have the right job. Your voices are definitely different. I would say you have to meet I mean this is a couple of that you have more of a ganna than job and the voice is a little bit more gravel.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_08And Shanna's a little more quaint. I hope she didn't think of it. I know her well. She's excellent too. She's one of the other lady that they have with Reason too, I can't remember her name right now, but she's a sweetheart as well. So I hope I'm gonna wish you guys the same kind of success. You know, reason's been around. This is probably the longest running. Alright, so listen, I appreciate you guys. Should we do that, Pink Song? We're gonna do it. I know I'm gonna have to edit it. But this is I think you know, you asked me if I knew how she got her name, oh yes. And we don't talk about it right now. Um but um this song I think is when they broke up her her husband that she is with now. They broke up for a short period and she wrote this was for him or something. I don't remember exactly the whole story. But it's a great tune. Like I say, we'll have to censor it. Uh I would when you sent me it as part of your playlist, I almost made it. I thought, you know what? We're gonna get along just fine. A lot of these I have not heard of a lot of them, but this one, oh yeah, I know this one for me.
SPEAKER_16Once or twice, dug my way out, blood and fire, bad decisions. That's alright. Welcome to my silly life. This place misunderstood. Miss know it's so good. It didn't slow me down. Mistaken, always back and guessing, under made it to come to the round. There's no meat when you talk, when you stop, that's just it. You were wrong. There's no voice of what in your head.
SPEAKER_17Stop on the kid, don't help me on making feeling so much agent. Such a fire day, I can't stay, it's down on my day, don't stay.
SPEAKER_16The only thing I should be drinking is an ice cold beer. So cool in line, and we try, try, try, but we try to run it's a waste of my time done. So the critics just everywhere. They don't like my jeans, they don't get my hair. Streams are supposed and we do it all the time. Why do we do that? Why do I do that? Why do I do that?
SPEAKER_10You still look like an angel. I heard you're doing fine. Got promoted back in April, and you met someone, your dad says he's okay. Well, I've never been better. Things are going my way. I never show a place for work. I don't think whiskey. I don't know how it feels to her. Since you said goodbye. Wish I could say I miss you. But you know I never lie. Yeah, I met somebody too. She's a model at LA. And she's begging me to move. She's a smile. I decided if I'm going on. But at the end of the day, I sleep like a baby. I never show up like work. I don't like whiskey. I don't know how it feels for night. Since you said goodbye. Wish I could say a mission. But you know I never lie. Things are going my way. I sleep like a baby. I never show a legal work. But I don't think whiskey. I don't know how it feels. Since you said goodbye. Wish I could say a wish you. Oh, but you know I never lie.
SPEAKER_08Oh my. Thank you for keeping me on my toes. You're you're you're as good as Rin, if not better.
SPEAKER_06Oh, don't say that.
SPEAKER_08I I was gonna say no, nobody's better than Rin.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, for sure. Yeah. I think I bit my tongue.
SPEAKER_08That's probably a good thing. Your foot fits in your mouth. Yes, it does. No, I I um I I do, and we were kind of talking off mic too a little bit about um what we're gonna you and you even wrote it down for me. Because I keep forgetting we talk about we have some great subjects, and I and you know I have a a deal with Ren is that we don't talk when there's music's playing. We just but you and I are kind of catching up. I haven't seen you in a while, so it's been one of those kind of things. And we've talked about stuff uh uh that we probably shouldn't talk about on the show. So I just want to say I I I think you fit in really well with our group because you have the same eclectic taste in music that uh Ren and uh and and I do. And let me ask you this do you like rap music? I do. Do you I like everything? I did not care for rap music. I did not I just couldn't wrap my head around rap music. But Ren, we did a show called Rap for People Who Don't Like Rap. And it changed my mind. But you know, there's a lot of songs out there um that even the early songs, uh that song that I did, that Elvis song, that is a rap song. If you really listen to it, it's not a sung song. Yeah. Jailhouse rock. Yeah. Warden through a party in the county jail, you know that it's a rap song.
SPEAKER_06Prison I began to win. Even think about like the the four non-blondes have the twenty-five years left is you know that song? Oh, yeah, yeah. What's up?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, it's a great tune.
SPEAKER_06Cardi B has she does a whole rap thing in the background of it and it it just blends so well.
SPEAKER_08Well, there was a we she played a few I didn't care for, but the majority of them were good. It just seemed to me like rap guys were just mad at the world, you know, all the time. But it's more of them just getting their feelings out and getting it, you know. It's either that or Exactly. Yeah, talking about women. Yeah, we'd rather have them do that. Well, listen, I really, I really this is K SJ E, and I'm David. This is my lovely friend Sarah. Um We have a little bit of history, and I'm and I'm glad that you showed. Um I I I hesitate to tell the story that uh the first time I actually saw you perform on stage was uh music from Asada, and it was during a rehearsal thing. Oh no. Do you mind me? No, go ahead. Everyone that knows me knows that I'm clumsy. Well, the stage is freaking crowded to begin with. I mean, you know, they keep it it's a little stage and the wires are everywhere. It's just it's a pain in the rear. When I do MC stuff, I I like to just stay on the floor. You know, give me a remote mic and let me do it that way. Because I I'm a little uh dysfunctional for one thing, but I'm also a little disabled. So yeah, uh very unsafe. But anyway, um it was during a rehearsal and there was a few people out front that are starting, the crowd was starting to arrive. You were coming off stage or getting ready to come off stage and you fell. You're wearing a dress too, a short dress, if I remember correctly. Nice legs, by the way. And um and you like what I liked to used to get when I was in high school, I love the fever shot. You did that. You gave that to the back of the stage. And uh at the time a guy that Daniel was with you, he helped you back up. But oh my god, I just felt so awful for you. And I was so glad when you came off stage.
SPEAKER_06That I was laughing at myself?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, you were laughing your butt off, and I and I said, Man, I'm so glad you fell the direction. And you're like, you know, I just like you said her minute ago, I'm just so clumsy.
SPEAKER_06I just Well and I am who I am. That's right. Love me or hate me. There you go.
SPEAKER_08And that's you know, it's funny that you bring that up, and it's a different. I listened to I found some really old radio checks myself this morning when I was doing your song that I pulled out, that one that I played that I just adore. Um and I was listening to myself and I'm like, holy crap, man, I was really good. Maybe I'm a little biased, I don't know, but I think I listened to that, I'm like, is that me? Is that really me? Because nowadays I think, ah, I don't, you know, I'm not that good. I just don't know. But at one time in my life I could be a real radio Johnny Radio, you know, and I was witty. I don't know what happened to my wit.
SPEAKER_06It's still there.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I don't know. It just kind of goes by the wayside. Alright, so um what if it's on your new band, uh, what kind of what kind of music are you guys gonna play?
SPEAKER_06Um so yeah, we're doing like our classic rock kind of thing. Spanish, some Spanish, some country. A lot of country probably.
SPEAKER_08Right.
SPEAKER_06They love their waltzes.
SPEAKER_08So yeah, it's pretty much the same type of stuff, but you played it the elves quite a bit when you on toasted rebel things.
SPEAKER_06Yes. Yeah. We were kind of almost their house band for a little while.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. Yeah, well you well, it it deserved to be. Um there's another band that plays up there quite a bit too, and I can't think of it right off the bat. But they're good too. I know a couple of those guys. Anyway, um and I and I know Breezen goes up there every once in a while, but not.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and I haven't seen Breeze in there in a while. No, it's they like no worries and I love to play at No Worries too.
SPEAKER_08And I think that's where I probably have seen you most in No Worry. I'm not a member of the Elks, but um you always give me in. I've been in twice. Oh yeah. I appreciate that too. Um but yeah, I just I don't know. So if if so you're gonna do country, you're gonna do some wrong, and you gotta do country because of the area for sure. A little two-step music. Yeah. Um, maybe do you do guys do a waltz at all?
SPEAKER_06Yeah, we do some waltzes. Not our favorite, but we do them.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, but you know what? Have you ever waltzed?
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_08Uh there's something about doing a waltz properly that just can't be beat.
SPEAKER_06Like Disney princess type stuff. Yeah, exactly. I hadn't looked at it that way. Well that and like so Ross and Tim and Gilbert, they've always played in like Spanish bands too. And so they have that whole Spanish connection. So I I get to practice my Spanish.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, you guys you guys do a a couple of songs in Spanish, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yep, we have quite a few.
SPEAKER_08Uh yeah, yeah. There's something about that too. It's and and when it you come the minute it comes on, you know that's what you know, but it's something about it. It's lots of energy, number one. I don't think I've ever heard a slow one. I'm sure there are some.
SPEAKER_06There's some Spanish waltzas.
SPEAKER_08Is there really? No, yeah, I've not heard. So I learned something today.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, we're we're working on some new stuff like that.
SPEAKER_08Well, I I'll tell you, I think um for me, I I never want to think that I know it all. Ever. And I I I want to try to learn something every day, you know. I'm gonna be 71 this month. So, um I I just want to make sure that uh I like it. Um and I I'm not gonna say your age, but when you told me I like to faint it, I'm away.
SPEAKER_06But you do have what did you say, a 19-year-old and 20-year-old. A twenty-year-old in college, yep. She's in nursing school. She's gonna graduate next year. Good for her. And then I have a almost 15 and almost 13-year-old. They share the same birthday. July 5th.
SPEAKER_08Well, that's when uh Bloomfield shoots their fireworks if I remember correctly.
SPEAKER_06So what you need to tell her, because my ex-Tem, yes. I've always told them they're just for you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08My ex was her birthday was on my my youngest boy's mother. Her birthday was on July 3rd. So when we were together, she used to say, Oh, th they just do that today because it's my birthday.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_08And I used to look at it.
SPEAKER_06Well, and Bloomfield's fireworks are fantastic.
SPEAKER_08I know, I've been to those. I did I covered those already. I knew uh I know Scott um um the mayor. No, he wasn't the mayor, but city council. Uh I don't know if it was Scott.
SPEAKER_06Next time?
SPEAKER_08Yes, yes. Uh so we went over when I was at Pirate Radio, we went over there and covered it. Um, he's always been real nice. I've seen him at the car a lot a couple times. He's a super.
SPEAKER_06He also loves to do karaoke.
SPEAKER_08Oh, does he really? That I didn't know because I knew it. He has a good voice. Oh, I would love to get too much. Alright, there's a chat out. Yeah. I was gonna say, I'd love to get him to karaoke. Alright, we're just about out of time. Matter of fact, I don't know if I have time to play a lot, so we might do it anyway. Um, you know, there was one on here that you really could. We've got to do this. No. Did I do Susan? I think I did.
SPEAKER_06Jeff Beck.
SPEAKER_08Jeff Beck.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_08Thank you so much. Thanks for having me. Um and if you'd like to say I'd love to have you become a part of the team.
SPEAKER_06I'd love to be.
SPEAKER_08So the next show you're gonna while Rin's on vacation or whenever she leaves. As a matter of fact, she may want to do one with you too, so we don't have to.
SPEAKER_06Oh, that'd be great.
SPEAKER_08I don't think anybody can fill my shoes.
SPEAKER_06We have pretty big teeth.
SPEAKER_08Oh, thank you. Thank you so much for coming. Thanks for having me. You betcha. Here we go, we're out of here. KSJE, I'm David Bells, wake up call. See you next time.
