Have you ever felt the weight of mental clutter muffling God's voice in your life? I certainly have, and it's why I, Lyvita, am inviting you to clear the noise and join me on a spiritual expedition designed to renew our focus on what truly matters. My own battles with anxiety and its impact on my wellbeing revealed a need for silence, a space where God's whispers can break through the chaos. This episode is not just about self-improvement; it's about soul improvement. Embracing our unique voices and gifts, and learning to align ourselves with God's exquisite plan for our lives. It's time to prioritize our relationship with the Lord this January, discovering His intentions and nurturing our ultimate connection with Him.

It's like there was so much going on in 2023 until it was just blowing my mind. As I told you, in 2023, I'm revamping the podcast, I'm revamping my website, because there's been a lot of transitions in my life, and there have been big transitions, until I come to the point where I realize that what God was saying to me and what I was hearing was two different things, because my mind was so cluttered with fear, walking on eggshells, nervous about this, nervous about that, worried about this, worried about that, and the things that I was worried and focused about and the stuff that was causing me stress. I thought it was my job, you know, because my job is stressful at times, but I didn't realize that the way I was internalizing and reacting was because of the stress that I had at home, since when there is no peace within you in your home, there's a problem, and you need to sit down with God to truly clear out your mind so you can hear what he has to say. Not hear what the pastor has to say, or what other preachers have to say, or what people say on YouTube, or what people say on Instagram, or what your family is saying to you or what your friends are saying to you. No, it's what God is saying to you.

Lyvita:

We get so caught up in all those other things until when we get to the place where we're sitting with our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ, we're hanging out with Him and we're hoping to hear from Him. There's so much. I mean. Sometimes it takes a couple of days to get all the clutter out, all the extra voices out, even your voice out, just so you can hear what God has to say. God is always speaking. Y'all, he's always speaking. It's just that we aren't listening. And I've come to this point where I've finally listened, and it's sad that I had to get to a point where my health was affected before I not only listened, but I did , since there is more to living than what we think. God has so much out there for us to do. Have you ever been to a point where it seems like God's giving you this idea, you run with it, but you can only get to a certain level. You can't get any higher. No matter what you do, you can't get any higher. But then there's another idea that comes up. So you run with it and you still get to that certain level. When you can't, that's a problem. That's a problem. And that's when you need to pack up your bags, take five days and talk to the Lord, and sometimes it takes less than five days to realize what God is saying to you.

Lyvita:

This year, we're going to be talking about just getting that clutter out of our minds. We're going to be talking about self-talk and how to react to negative people and how to allow God to propel us to that next level, how to get out of a rut, how to write our own story, how to grow within a mess that has been placed before us. We have allowed the enemy and family members and other people to control us to and when I say control us, I'm talking about allow their thoughts, their choices to influence our thoughts and our choices. Until when it comes to us hearing God, it all gets jumbled up in there and it gets hard to separate. But now is time. It's time to.

Lyvita:

This is the year y'all. This is the year we got a God who has steadfast love. Wow Saying you are so, so awesome, so awesome. But you can't see it. Because of the clutter and the glitter of the world and the confusions that are out there, you can't imagine what God has in store for you. You have an idea, but you can't imagine. I mean. So we all have dreams, we all have goals, but it's God who brings the increase, it's God who makes those dreams and goals go beyond whatever, whatever we can imagine.

Lyvita:

I think, saints, we have to get to the point where we realize that, in a final analysis, it's about you and God, and not anyone else. So, saints, this month I'll be doing a 21-day fast and prayer. It's something I do every year, and this year it's going to be about my voice. God's given me words to say and I'm going to say them. God's given you words to say Brevits and writing, drawing, making something, doing something. God has given us each unique voices and tools and what you to use to speak it through. I mean, I've realized that this podcast is more than what I thought it was. Okay, it's not just, not just for you, but it helps me grow as well, isn't it interesting? It's interesting how God can, can use one tool to help others and bring about a joy, and the person who's using that tool.

Lyvita:

Saints, if there's one thing that I hope and pray is that you grow from these episodes. I don't know how to say it any louder, but you are an opportunity for God to bring about an increase Time to stop procrastinating, to stop rehashing, to stop second guessing. Take this month, january. Spend time with the Lord. One hour, two hour, eight hour, it doesn't matter. Spend time with the Lord.

Lyvita:

Oh, saints, god loves you. I would say God is love. God is so full of love for you. It's not the kind that we think about on this earth. It's not a man and woman's love. It's not a best friend's love, it's not a mother or father's. No, it is a love that fills you too, shout you know you just. You just yeah, yeah, can't find words for it, you just overflow, you just just get all it's. It's a love that brings in some kind of peace that you can't find a word for it.

Lyvita:

So, saints, this year it's been time with the Lord, hanging out with him, especially January, because it's time to go and do what he called you to do intentionally Did you hear me Intentionally? As we go through this, the sheer the episodes are going to focus on being intentional about what you do. But first you guys spend time with the Lord to know what it is that he's called you to do. Saints, spend the time in this month talking to God about your calling and then go do it. Take that Bible, open it up. I don't care if it opens up to Isaiah, open it up. It's some of you already doing devotionals, so go your next devotion, keep doing your devotional, and whatever that scripture is, whatever that chapter is that you're reading, sit with it, talk to God about it, ask your questions.

Lyvita:

Then take out your journal and you write as you hear what God is saying to you, and you may not know which voice is talking at that time. That's okay, just write it down anyway. If you start writing and it says I love you with the everlasting love, don't forget to pick up the eggs. Today, jesus is my son and you are my child. I love you. Put some oil in that car today. I don't know what is going on, that's okay, I got you. I mean, that's what you write. That's what you write, you know, because that's what you heard.

Lyvita:

Say Jesus, I love you, jesus, I love you, jesus, I love you, jesus, I love you, jesus, I love you. Say it. Hear God's voice, you will learn it. You will learn His voice as you spend time with him. Yeah, I'm just a little guy. He's so special because he's made you and I to be unique. Don't try to be someone that you're not. You dig in that Bible to find you cause you're hidden in there.

Lyvita:

All right, saints, let's pray. Father, thank you for the opportunity to just share my heart with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray there's been a blessing to them and I pray that something I have said has sparked them to change and draw closer to you so that they can hang out with you more. Lord, touch their hearts right now with a joy, a peace that brings them an awakening to your love and to their calling. I pray this in the name of who is my Lord and Savior and King Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, amen. So, saints, I'm telling you to get on the air with me Intentionally and daily. Hang out with Jesus. Shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom.
