The Unbreakable Boundaries Podcast
Setting and defending boundaries is the difference between letting someone else run your life, or you getting the life you've always wanted. Through my experience of being in recovery of a severe drug addiction, and managing my codependency with toxic people, I have learned a thing or two about the importance of boundaries. Boundaries is something that is forever changing, growing, morphing, and something to keep a constant check up on. This podcast is your check-in for your own boundaries, and maybe even give you the strength and wisdom to set the boundaries you know you have been needing to set for yourself.

Episode 43
When it comes being a family member with a loved one in addiction/substance abuse issues, we have to come at it like we are training for a obstacle course where we don't exactly know what the obstacle course is going to look like, so we need to be prepared for anything. How do we do that? One, we don't do it alone. If I had to actually train for a marathon or obstacle course, I'd have to find people to help me. This is important for self care, so when the event happens that we don't know about yet, we are going to be prepared for whatever situation it is. We may stumble still, but we will be more prepared to handle the situation.
