This week, Queenie and Chicken are encouraged by Sammy Showers' weather forecast for heavy snow, and rise early for a day of sledding. The sleds are ready, and their clothes too, but when will the snow arrive? While they wait, they learn about where snow and hail comes from, and Little Dazzy Donuts helps to pass the time by reading three poems on waiting for snow, a fresh snowfall, and the fun of sledding.
