True humility is not thinking less of ourselves, but seeing ourselves rightly before God. In Luke 18:9–14, Jesus contrasts a proud Pharisee and a humble tax collector to reveal that only the broken and repentant heart receives grace. Pride compares and separates, but humility confesses and connects.
