In part one of a two-part series, Adam Norwitt discusses his journey to become President and CEO at Amphenol Corporation. Adam discusses his childhood experience in boarding school, then formal education in law, and finally pivoting to business, which proved to be life-changing. Adam was given the opportunity for an internship at Amphenol, which he describes 22 years later as "love at first sight." Adam advanced beyond his humble beginnings and took every open door, even when he didn't feel qualified, to emerge as President and CEO of Amphenol. His humble leadership and implementation of an "Intrapreneurship" mentality throughout the company has proven to separate Amphenol from the pack to remain one of the leading manufacturers in the electronics industry.
