What would a person be like if they never experienced adversity?

Imagine someone who was handed everything without ever having to work for it.

Imagine someone who's never experienced heart-break, loss or challenge.

What might that person be like?

Would they be strong, capable and compassionate?

Would they be empathetic, hard working and grateful for everything they have?

Probably not.

How can you appreciate love without experiencing loneliness?

How can you appreciate success without experiencing failure?

How can you appreciate wealth without experiencing poverty?

And that's the key.

To realize that it's your adversities, and what you DO about them, that build your character.
