Romans 12:1-3

1. Start with God's Mercy

Paul begins with "by the mercies of God."

Mercy is the fuel for obedience.

Without grace, there is no lasting motivation.

What motivates your service to God right now?

2. Embrace the Sacrifice

"Living sacrifice" means daily surrender.

This is not about self-fulfillment, but about God's glory.

Key Thought:

Don't think less of yourself-think of yourself less.

What is hardest for you to surrender?

3. Pursue Holiness

God's will is your sanctification.

You are made acceptable through Christ, not your own effort.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

Where is God currently calling you to grow in holiness?

4. Redefine Worship

Worship is your whole life, not just Sundays.

Serving God is worship.

Key Idea:

Every action reflects devotion to God.

How can your daily routines become worship?

5. Resist Worldly Conformity

The world has a plan for your life.

Two dangers:

- Isolation (separating from the world)

- Compromise (becoming like the world)

Biblical Balance:

Be in the world, but not of it.

Discussion:

Which extreme do you tend toward?

6. Renew Your Mind

Transformation happens through:

- God's Word

- Prayer

- The Holy Spirit

Key Truth:

You don't change God through prayer-He changes you.

What is one practical way you can grow in the Word this week?

7. Understand Testing

God uses His Word to reveal and refine us.

Testing leads to discernment.

Result:

You begin to recognize God's will as:

- Good

- Acceptable

- Perfect
