SPEAKER_03I don't know how nobody didn't notice me. Um I mean, sure, if I gained some weight and you're like, how'd you gain weight? If you've been homeless, well, if you eat enough leaves and dirt, you'll start gaining weight.

SPEAKER_06Anyway, uh, we're stoked to be back. This was our first like full real recording in 2026, and it all just felt like man, we recorded that episode with BC, and then it took us two years to finally get it out. It felt only right that we actually had him on to talk to him currently. So uh we had the homie BC right back on again, uh kind of for a back-to-back from the way that it's posted, but there was a uh two-year and a month gap. Um but happy August 2026. Um lot of things have happened uh since we were off the air.
Missing Coasters Flyer Prank
SPEAKER_03Dude, we we should talk about the missing coasters for a minute.
SPEAKER_06Okay, yeah. Well, that was uh something funny that was kind of like an idea that Ophelia originally had about us coming back because she watched uh Search for Animal Chin. And then I told you about her idea, and then you totally ran with it, like wrote up a little script about it, and uh you made those wanted those missing flyers mostly. I kind of came in to to finish them up. And then yeah, we printed.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, we printed we we uh what's that had Chad GBT help me out a little bit, but you know, we'll talk about that later.
SPEAKER_06Oh cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Anyway, had a wife kept on what do you say had had a wife and always beat her or something like that. Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater, had a wife and always beat her, something like that. Anyway, it's neither here nor there. We do not condone, we condemn domestic abuse and violence. Um goddamn right. I don't play that shit. No, but uh the flyers, uh I was taping them up and just everywhere and like just taping them up briefly to get little clips, you know, for Instagram stuff to kind of create a little like, hey, we're gonna be back. We've been silent, but we're we're coming back. We've been missing. Um and then and then we some people got the joke. Yeah, most people got the joke. Most people got the joke, but shout out the to the people that uh didn't get the joke and um expressed their concern to Martin. We don't need to name any names, but we just want you to know we appreciate y'all. Fucking thank you. Um, and that made it all uh even even more worthwhile. So uh we're all about uh you know jokes and laughter. What is uh what did Big Jokerson? It's all love and laughs over here, bruh.

Technical Struggles And Video Plans
SPEAKER_06Um this episode that does have BC, we actually um did record it. Um had the output from my mixer going into the to my phone and we recorded on my phone, but just like every other time we tried to incorporate video, um the the audio came out fucked up on it. So I finally on the pod without yeah, it wouldn't be poly on the pod without those technical difficulties, baby, because uh goddamn it, man. No matter how hard I try. But I've been trying to uh do, I guess, the uh budget friendly way, because fucking I'm blue collars fuck and I don't got money like that. You're disabled, you know I don't got money like that. So we out here doing it for the love of the game, spending our own dime. Um, but you know what? Fuck it. I just finally broke down and ordered some webcams. I'll be ordering a video switcher.

SPEAKER_06After a lot of people hitting us up, begging and pleading, we are back. Uh, we are definitely coming at you with some video, hoping that all of this audio is going to the camera the way it has in practice, if you will.

SPEAKER_06If you don't use it, you lose it. Um, it is true in uh uh across the board in many things. So uh practice out there, young padwands, practice. Um yeah, and I know we got that.

SPEAKER_06But anyway, we couldn't be more stoked to be coming at you from again uh the one and only legendary Kone's gate park, uh, our home away from home. Um a lot of things have been going on in our time off uh from here. Let me give you a little slack. I got you wrapped up, hold up. Let's fix that real quick. Technical difficulties wouldn't be poly on the pod without him. The reboot doesn't change nothing. Uh but yeah, as you can see behind us, the old crusty concrete vert ramp last year was completely renovated and refurbished, resurfaced. Um it is fast, it is gnarly. BC, my guy, got it. He got it. Yeah, he did, got it for the gram.
SPEAKER_04It was so scary. Anyway, how are you guys doing?
SPEAKER_06We're doing great, man. We're doing great. We were just kind of talking about, you know, like come come along with the two years that we've been off the air, and we've been in hiding and we've been missing, we've had a lot of big changes around here. Like, if you look at this big, beautiful concrete vert ramp, you know, for my whole life, this thing was pretty crusty. And now, I mean, it's it's smooth, it's it's fast, it's it's ripping, dude. Yeah, this thing is faster than it looks.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, faster than it looks. They did a great job resurfacing. I can't even talk right now. I'm so tired.

Oh man, so uh I'm already sweating too. Man, word on the street, you know, like not a lot of people were sharing it because they didn't know whether they should be scared. They didn't want to share something, you know, it could end up in a fatality. They didn't know what was going on. Right, right. So um let us let us know uh what you've been doing in here early in the hiatus. What was you doing? Why'd you like stop it?
Why The Show Paused
SPEAKER_06A couple of reasons. So I had had a little bit of turmoil in my personal life that I definitely had to start to prioritize. But honestly, um when I first started podcasting, I really just wanted to shine light on the people and the things that I think are rad. It was really never supposed to be like an about me thing. Yeah. And starting it in like 2020, um, around their first messing around, um, it was kind of before the big explosion, and then all of a sudden there was an explosion of podcasts where it seemed like everybody that was hosting the podcast was trying to have like main character syndrome. Yes. And I kind of was struggling with being associated with that because I everybody knows we don't take ourselves very seriously. Like we try to have fun, man. It's all about spreading the love, spreading, you know, spreading the fire, each one to each one, and sharing, you know, our our own personal experiences in life. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04It's like it's like the uh view behind the curtains, if you will. If he was the main character, it'd be like what he did when he got off the stage. There you go. That's why we watch, you know, yours. Because the one with Tim Johnson and uh Ron Allen. Yeah, you know, oh dude, the Ron Allen one was one of my house?
SPEAKER_06No. Well, Ron Allen was here in the uh the Kona Clubhouse, like right on the stage. We actually did that here, which was super dope. Um, and I had tried that was another thing towards the hiatus. I kept trying to get caught up. It was originally just an audio platform. I listened as a kid in like the the 90s, man, I listened to a lot of radio. It was like the whole that's why I've got a lot of hot drops. Tried to make it like a radio show kind of a thing, yeah. Feel to it. And uh I was trying to get into the video aspect to catch up with everybody else, and I didn't really have the budget, and I was struggling in every attempt. So that one, we actually recorded that one, but the messed up thing is the audio didn't transfer to the video. I gotcha. And I have a weird technical problem with the mixer that I bought is super rad, but the bitrate for all the nerds out there, um, the bitrate doesn't match that of my camera. So if I just tried to export this audio and then put it on top of the video, it would be it would match up for a little bit, but then eventually the audio gets off from the lips and it looks really weird, and there's really no way to fix that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, because it has like a like a point decimal second delay and you and you can't really get to it. But you know, this is a good time to bring up that uh there's a lot of people that have been having board companies and all kind of like stuff that has been popping up for skateboarding, and people are trying to be the main character of their own brand, if you will. But uh this is a good opportunity to to reach out to those people doing that, and if we can have like a little program where just those little people put in, you know, freaking 20 to 50 bucks, you know, and if we get like 10 people like that, you know, after a few episodes, we can get a for sure something uh well I'm I'm I'm stoked to bring that up.

SPEAKER_06too, that was another thing. I think as with the relaunch, we're gonna start um putting out most of the episode for free. Kind of the core stuff when we talk about skateboarding and what's popping off in the community, we'll all be up on YouTube. But I think we are gonna get a Patreon account going. And so kind of the more full length where we get into just being goofy, vulgar, joking, you know, like messing around kind of stuff. Put that behind a put that behind a paywall. And so if you want to subscribe for three bucks a month, you'll get like a uh you know, a full-length episode. If you want to just watch the free on YouTube or listen to, you'll be able to listen to the full length audio.

Doc’s Health Scare And Recovery
SPEAKER_06personal stuff in line and we've been slowly regrouping, and so now I'm ready to come back. But uh, doc. You're too close, man. Let the let the people know what's been up with you, my guy.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, doc. How'd you how'd you get started and still crippled podcasting? You're a funny guy by nature. I mean, not funny ha not funny, haha.

SPEAKER_03Well, I got uh I started getting like real sick and everything. Like uh bodies trying to fucking just give up. And uh so spent a little time in the hospital and whatnot, and then finally was able to get my hip got my left hip replaced finally. And so I'm still recovering from that. And then coup about a month and a half ago, two months now.
SPEAKER_06This was a scary one.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I uh uh went to the doctor's because like my left leg was swollen up the same leg I just had my hip replacement on, and I thought someone was like, I don't know what the fuck's going on with this shit. Right. And uh so they x-rayed me up and then they uh CT scanned me, and they're like, You got a blood clot in your leg. I was like, I what now? You you have a blood clot in your leg. I was like, that's not good. And like, we also have two in your lungs. Okay, alright. Well, dude.
SPEAKER_06Got scary for a minute. Our boy was laid up in the hospital, blood thinners, the whole thing, like, yeah.
SPEAKER_04That's the worst BC I've ever heard. Blood clot BC. Yeah, but where is it?

Kona Upgrades And Local Shoutouts

Brother, living the dream. And you know, skating and having the music up, drinking some brewski's and um yeah, that was like a couple months. But to to live out here at Kona in the wilderness, dude, like I lived out here for a little bit. Yeah, I think like what six months? Kluckus. Cluckas. Seven months.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, at one point the homeless people across the way, they've been eradicated now. Eradicated.
SPEAKER_04Finally, Trump came in.
SPEAKER_06Uh this yeah, city came in and they'd bush hogged everything. Marty has been on top of it, man. The grounds look better than ever. All of our wood lines and everything, he've completely cleared down around the trees, so our next big event.

SPEAKER_06Uh no, I mean, Marty took care of everything. On his property, I think the city already had that plan because the home was kept in camp, like entrenching themselves right across the crick over there. Oh, that's a good spot right there. But Dakota went over there several times and he took it upon his, like, they came over and fucked with our stuff across the creek one time. Uh-and Dakota was like, Oh no, dude, war is war. And he like went over there and completely like tore down their camp. Did you say did you say like single-handedly? Did you say crick? Yeah, sometimes that happens.

So remember when Street League started and they had some bullshit about you had to be like you had to sign an exclusive contract and people like Greta Glutzka couldn't sign because he was with uh maybe Rockstar, maybe maybe Monster. I think he was with Rockstar, and with Rockstar? Something like that. And so he couldn't participate, you know, he couldn't play no damn reindeer games. Damn, I didn't know about any of that. That's crazy. Like, why you don't see Greg Lutzko in there or didn't?

Because it was in New Orleans, and oh my gosh, to see all my uh people from over there like just be engulfed in skateboarding for a little while, things that I have to go travel and get to and see. For sure. It came to New Orleans, and those people have to got to experience that. I mean, I am so humbled by uh for them to go there because that place is another place when you go there. Right. Um, but yeah, so they got the team, so they got like Tokyo and they got uh New York City, let's say, yeah, yeah, San Paulo. They're they're probably not gonna be asking Ryan Clemens, but uh I should hit up Ryan Clemens and be like, yo, bro, you gotta get the South and you gotta put the uh league together and put it together. Yeah, representative. But you know what? X Games is probably scared to have someone like Ryan on his coach. So anyway. Why do you say that? Oh, because he he he just knows what he's doing and they don't think I mean I mean he'd have to go and just do it. He just knows what he's doing and they don't.
SPEAKER_03I mean, he's been doing it for his whole life.
SPEAKER_04They they know they get they got more people wearing different hats than like for sure like Clements, Rob, yeah, you know, George, uh Scotty, all those guys down there at the border. But uh yeah, that he should totally uh have the South um contest. And and he has to go in and just worry about the the riders and not worry about like the the league and what they're doing and what they're building.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I watched it, but I came in like kind of after the fact and I didn't really know the whole premise of it. And then halfway through I was like hella confused because then they started like ranking in, like, oh New York, and da da da da. And like I'm like, wait, what? SPEAKER_04One time I skated for like uh I mean uh skated, I smoked for like one summer. Uh-huh. I held a cigarette like this. And I I just puffed on it, you know, back when that movie Mask came out. Oh, yeah. The movie Mask with uh Cher and uh um Rocky Case.

SPEAKER_04You know the guy that plays that was the guy that played uh was that Back to the Future? Yeah, he was the original caster from RT McFly. Yeah, they cut his ass and refilmed everything. Yeah. Oh yeah. And then he was he's like, I'm just gonna be Rocky Dennis. Fuck it. How'd that work out for you? Okay. You got to um hang out with Cher. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Um something more important. Yes, I was gonna say something. Just because um I love all the homies, and I love when we have our events here and everybody comes out, and this actually caused an issue with a newer guy that had been coming around, is that yes, when we have big events and people don't know, like, yeah, people think because it's an outdoor venue, you can just smoke anywhere. We as we work here because it is dedicated to the youth of Jacksonville, and we know what smoking does, and and we don't care, like I smoke weed, bro, but I don't do it in front of like the kids in the environment, you know what I mean? And the way that I raise my kids and my family doesn't, you know what I'm saying? However, whatever other people have certain stigmas about like it's just not allowed here, so just be mutually respectful. And everybody's not a public park either. It's no private and right and it stayed open private too. That's right, which is and then and then and the whole other thing is like you you you say you love it, you have so many memories of being here as a kid, but then when we have these big events, you have a couple of beers, you see some people from God knows where that are here visiting, spark up a cigarette, and you're like, I'm just gonna spark mine up too. And I don't know, my parents raised me to be a leader, not a follower, you know, so I I I I I haven't always been that, but I strive to be that. So just when I see other people doing it doesn't mean I'm going to. And there was a couple of people that got a little upset because we told them, like, hey man, stop smoking a cigarette, and they just couldn't understand. And I'm like, me going and telling somebody that's never been here before, and then when I leave, they might go light up again. Like, I don't know them, we don't have relationship, they don't even really have a relationship to Kona. You know what I'm saying? Right. But then, like, y'all are core community that came here at one point in time, you've grown up, yeah. And all we ever ask, man, is like, go to the edge of the woods, go to the rock, go to the rubble, go to go to the parking lot. Just don't be on the deck of the ramp lighting up a cigarette dock. I thought this was America. But anyway, so all love.

Sober Skating And Better Role Models
SPEAKER_04But uh quitting, I don't drink anymore. Really? Yeah, yeah, life sucks.
SPEAKER_06That'll make you better, make me. No, dude. Good for you, man. I went I mean, I wish I could like cut my grass and drink a beer. I went I went a few years without drinking because I needed to get my life. Now I always say I'm a like a vacation drinker. Pretty much drink on vacation.
SPEAKER_04Which is every afternoon? Vacation's all I ever wanted. I'm from New Orleans, and so like we drink Oh yeah. Period. Yeah. Like hurricane. Like they they had us practice. It was called a it was called a teen club. And and like you get you go there, and it's a bar at night, and on the weekend, because teens can go in there, it's like 20 bucks to get in, 13 to frickin' 17, you can go in there and hang out. No shit. That was the 80s. Hell yeah. Yeah, that was like the break day dancing days, and they had the fly guys and they were over there with the jumpsuits and stuff. The Adidas outfits. Mullets and hair metal, baby. Yeah, so so you would practice going to bars, and then if your mom didn't have enough money for you to go to college and you and you didn't join the military because you had a mullet, you know, you stayed back in the bar scene and just hung out.
SPEAKER_06Story of my life. Well, no, I mean, I definitely like I struggle when I was younger, but I also look at you know how we kind of even grew. I think it's so rad for skateboarding now that you have people like Nean Williams and like a plethora of others that are like sober and doing well and they're like vocal about it and they're like good good role models. Because I mean, we grew up in the whole like uh prime time piss drunks era, dude. Like, I mean, yeah, you know, like, dude, if if you're not skating hard and then getting blackout drunk and puking on yourself at the end of the day, are you really a skateboarder? Yeah, yeah. Like that's what it felt like in that era, right?
SPEAKER_04And that's what the that's what made you go balls to the walls for sure. You know, and just just blow down something. Alibulala boom, yeah. And now people like Naj is like all fucking in on Ninja focused, bro. I can't even be focused. I can't be focused for anything. I can't even focus my deck if I try. I think you can. I know I land on it too perfect now, and I don't I don't every time. I'm early grabbing, so I'm kind of like locked in. But if I was listening to this podcast, I'd probably skip that last part.

I think that's a good thing. So I think it's a beautiful thing.
Skateboarding’s Branching Family Tree

SPEAKER_04Yeah, taxation is that yeah. The um skateboarding, like I always say, we got our roots. Okay. And uh, I mean, we got all the people where it came from, and you know, you got your uh basically people think when the boards changed, that's when skateboarding like kind of excelled. When the wheels changed, it excelled a little bit, but then when the bearings changed, right? Because so so the wheels changed and you was able to ride on more and the clay wheels weren't breaking, but then when the bearings changed, that's when skateboarding like like just took off and it went wherever. So you got the the basics of the old school people and the roots, if you will, of skateboards in that tree. And then the tree goes up and it starts getting branches. You got your bones brigade branch, and then you got your like your alpha branch, right? And it goes over there. And and if you don't like the fucking bones brigade branch, you go get on the fucking alpha branch. Don't even get on the branch, just fucking stay on the tree. And then you go up, and then you know, you got the 90s, and you got all the different branches start coming up. Small wheels, pressure flipping. But then the branches, like you think of like uh Mike Carroll's branch, you know, it goes out and then it turns into La Kai and his branch and it goes on to a whole nother thing with Rick Howard and stuff like that. And then we go up even higher, and then COVID pops off, and then you get all these people that come back and you get influencers. You know how many fucking branches we got now? You're right. Like, like stay on your if you don't like that shit, either. I never really cut the branch off. No, don't cut the branch off. I was about to say don't cut them off. Let them do their thing. I mean, some of some people like some some need a good little pruning. We have a gatekeepers, we have gatekeepers for that. Need a little bit of trim on that bush. We have gatekeepers, and gatekeepers are good. You know, remember consolidated skateboards. Yep. Gatekeepers are good. So you got all these branches, and and if you want to go over there to the other branch, go, but don't be a dick. Moral of the story. You heard it here. Um go over that other branch, but don't be a dick. I just ride up the fucking tree, man. I'm just riding back and forth on the tree.
SPEAKER_06I've told you you're an inspiration, man. You're in. You're in. I ain't never been to Europe. You're a pissing inspiration, my friend. No. Um to us older guys, man, because I as I've been struggling with not as much time to skate, and then when I do, man, it's just such a struggle, you know? It feels like to get out there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then and then uh when I when I do, I finally I get in my zone, I stretch for a little bit, I get loose, then I get in the zone, and it's like, man, I'm fucking 15 years old all over again uh for a period of time, and it's a beautiful thing. But afterwards, I've I kind of get bummed on the level of skating, because even just a couple of years ago, um, where I was at, I've I feel like I've declined so much. But but that's your fault.
SPEAKER_04For sure. No, it is totally my fault. So you have to accept that totally. You have to accept that, and you have to know that you're at your skill level because of you know life got in the way or whatever. Yeah. And then at that moment right there of kind of like a uh recreation of yourself, you actually can go forward being proud of who you are. For sure.
SPEAKER_06But you have to stop that, and that's where you're at now, where you're yeah, it's been it's been a uh accept acceptance is always a hard pill to swallow. You you know what I'm saying? Yeah. So uh so but honestly, watching you, bro, every day, just keep pushing, keep skating, keep having fun. It's like BC 53, then 54. I mean, just and like I said, it's just uh when I'm feeling down, brother, and I and I open up social media and I see your little rail, you know, of your daily, your daily role. My daily car. Um, it it just reminds me of like fucking stop making excuses, man. And just go have fun.

Aging, Motivation, And Acceptance
SPEAKER_04that. Yeah, it's it's hard on both ends. We're yeah, we we all strive just to be out there. You know, like I I know when the chin moment's gonna come, and I know like the when I get out there now, like the chin moment's not at Treaty Skate Park, like sitting there waiting for me. But you know, I'll I'll put some headphones on, I'll see the squirrels jump up there and do a 50-50 across the cope and come in. And then the sun, the sun will uh shine around and and the clouds will get bright, and I'll I'll put my uh my phone up and I'll act like all my friends are there and I'll record something and then I'll post it, and then like maybe a friend will like it that I know from who knows where. I met I met people all over the country, and then uh my real good friends will comment and that that I like that. Uh some people don't like social media, but in my life right now, like it's just it's really cool to be with everybody all the time, you know.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and that's the the other thing too, is like I think the way that you also utilize social media just as reflecting on how I was feeling before the hiatus, feeling like uh you know, the I didn't want to come off as the main character syndrome. You know, it's hard to do a podcast without turning the camera on yourself. Yeah, and as it turned to more turning an actual camera on and not just being audio, I felt a little more awkward and like no, but you the way that you utilize social media is is uh is the way to do it. You root it, the way to do it, put it in the root, yeah.
SPEAKER_04You just you just uh I I've seen everybody like make it. I've I've seen people make it, I've seen like the industry and and I've always you know I you talk about the uh the what's that syndrome you you call it? Individual main character, main character. I had that my whole life, yeah. I mean and people like glorifying it saying it's a bad thing and shit. Um I'm I when I come out, I I used to be after I had a kid, you know, it's more about my kids and my family and things like that. When I go places and my wife told me to turn BC off, you know, while we're eating dinner and shit like that. Because like I am like super main character like all the time, and and that's what skateboarding helped uh me just have foul it for that to be to be main character, and then when everybody else starts being main character, I'm like, oh fuck, this shit ain't as cool. And and I had videos before, and then everybody starts making videos, and I'm like, I don't want to.
SPEAKER_06Bro, you've been like the mouth of the south in skateboarding forever, bro. Like you, but yeah, I mean you've like you've been doing it before it was a fad. I mean, I think I even wore a red hat first. So it's different, it's different, you know what I mean? Like you were kind of the pione from like the the uh what is the southern coast uprising to like all of that like that you've done over the years, like you're like a kind of pioneer on it. You know what I'm saying? So this is like where is me, I felt like uh um just getting lumped and it when I would tell people about a podcast, oh, like getting lumped in with a whole bunch of other podcasts, I was like, I don't really know. Social Media Without Main Character Energy
SPEAKER_06to like if anybody gets anything from it, even if they think like it's just a laugh because they think I'm corny and now I'm old or whatever. Like, I was I was a young kid that thought anarchy was the answer and shit like that, and I made a bunch of stupid mistakes. I don't ever try to come off as judgmental, but I've anybody that's I didn't want to pay taxes at one time in my life for sure, but then you don't I still don't, you know what I'm saying? South Coast Uprising Origins

SPEAKER_04And so um to go back to that, I was um South Coast Uprising when it started, it was just going to all the core spots and people like uh in Louisiana, Larry Blossom and Ben Moore was in Baton Rouge and Shannon May was in Lafayette, Dave Watney, you know, Todd was taking pictures down there with Adam Ludon in New Orleans and a bunch of friends like that. I tried to name all of them, I probably didn't. But uh, so all those friends, I I made like a little uh sign-in sheet, you know, and I had like your age and your phone number, and and so those guys put it together. Then my friends over there in Pensacola, Rob Aaron and all those guys, P. Kelly, and then all some guys in Tampa, and then up this way, and and we were just South Coast Uprising, and we'd call each other up and be like, Hey, I'm coming over there, and I'm coming over here. And it was kind of like a network then. And then I started doing demos with those guys, like all these fucking good guys, yeah. And so we started doing demos, and like I'd get somebody to get us a room at a skate park, like in Georgia. We did a did a couple, and um, they would uh get us a room and all, so all my buddies meet up there and we're hanging out, and then we go do a demo, and and you know, there's like 20 kids there or whatever, but it's just a like 20 frickin' 20-year-olds to 30, yeah skating, having fun. Yeah, doing it for all the right reasons. And so that that that happened for a while, and it and it was fun. Um, and then social media came along, and I was like, oh shit.

I mean, that's the two pillars that like hold up my skateboarding. I don't even know what I was talking about because I got into Chuck, but that dude is uh amazing in the South.

Ramp Restoration And Red Bull Support
SPEAKER_06Super stoked to uh have had our homie BC come out, hang out for a little bit. Definitely got uh some ramblings in. It's always fun hanging out with him. Um the man can talk. But so can we. Um couple of couple of things we started to talk about, but didn't finish, but really want to highlight all the hard work, man. Is Greasy and the crew again for the the concrete vert ramp restoration a year ago. Um, Dakota and Drew and any of the volunteers that helped out on the few volunteer days um on the wooden vert ramp. Definitely gonna add some footage of that in here um so you can visually see just how amazing it came out. They took out the old gnarly two roll-ins and put in a death box. It's uh put in some two two friendly roll-ins on the end. Um yeah, it looks fun. Yeah, so super stoked on that. And then one thing we haven't talked about at all is we had gotten a uh uh middle concrete street course feature, uh, thanks to Red Bull. Um I mean we've had we had a Red Bull pin drop event out here where we had them coming out and they played Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Oh, yeah, the latest one? Yep, because it was the relaunching and uh they kind of teamed up a gamer and a skater. So like and they combined the scores. They had a street contest, and I think it was Jamie Foy, and I can't remember whoever the was hooked up with him that I think won. But they basically combined the skaters score from the contest and the gamers score from the game video game contest. It was interesting. Um that's one way to do it. Yeah, we had that with go skate day, uh 48th, 49th anth anniversary. Uh now we're getting ready looking forward to the 50th next June, which we were just inside talking with Marty and uh hearing a lot about the details as they're getting firmed up, and it is going to be an epic party. Uh the likes of one, don't know if it will ever be able to be recreated, so it's gonna be something you want yeah, you want to stay tuned for, and definitely you don't want to miss uh something BC talking about, he says everybody a lot. I wanted to talk to BC about it because I have been up in Charleston for work for the past several weeks, and um getting to know that scene up there has been really rad. Skate Charleston, very cool hamburgers, very cool spot. Um but then I went to the bridge spot, um, a rad DIY. Definitely very gnarly stuff there to skate.

SPEAKER_06Um, even the stuff that's just four foot and five foot tall has like a foot of hurt on it. And a fucking block of coping. And uh yeah, a big old bullnosed coping like the size of your fist and circle, like it's it's it's ain't treaty, it ain't home as a no ping. Yeah, no, it's definitely kinda gnarly. Um but but super rad, I I did uh post on my story there was uh art everywhere, but uh there was this one little random patch that you didn't really need to fill in with concrete. And they chose to fill it in with concrete, but in the concrete they made the shape of a cock and balls with bricks, so they just put like bricks in, but then at the head, uh at the mushroom tip, they put like a little uh mannequin face that looked like Donald Trump.
