Homeschooling can EASILY become extremely expensive with books, curricula, materials, manipulatives, online resources, extracurriculars, co-ops, etc. But it doesn't HAVE to be! And guess what? Spending more money on your child's education does not equal a better education! So much can be learned with simple resources, lots of books (that can be checked out at the library or found online for free), and using what you have on hand! Not including extracurriculars, we spent just under $300 to homeschool our three girls for this year. Broken down by month, that is $25 a month!
