The story line includes an analogy between a 5K race and a journey to healing and recovery. It also includes the courage it takes to be vulnerable and an explanation of why the people we are closest to are often the ones who try to hold us back. I share the reason behind the creation and publication of this book and after-effects of my personal healing journey with a final message that "you are loved."
