Often, when people are struggling with feelings of being overwhelmed with fear, anxiety, worry, and/or stress they eliminate those things from their lives that bring them joy. They feel that there's too much to do, or they're not in the mood, or that there just isn't enough time. However, experts say that positive emotions can decrease stress hormones, build emotional strength, and improve resilience.
