Gratitude provides benefits on physical, emotional, and mental levels. Studies show that gratitude increases feelings of happiness and optimism, builds confidence, and alleviates anxiety. It has even been shown to lower systolic blood pressure, decrease cortisol, and can actually rewire the brain.
