One beautiful thing I learned from Damla is her definition of a healer. It includes not only people who learn and share the healing arts, but also "someone who, through their own healing journey, has begun to embody so much light, so much joy, so much life force that just their pure existence in the world is healing for the people around them." We are like a drop of water in a pond which creates ripples that radiate outward. Our actions, words, and very essence affect the people around us.
