Welcome to Linda's Corner, a top-rated, positive, encouraging self-improvement podcast. Today's guest is Leila Kubesch. Leila is the founder of Parents2Partners, a non-profit that aspires to promote a greater cultural understanding and educational support for families, educators, and students in order to achieve better learning outcomes and greater success. She won the Audience Choice award for her TEDx talk in Cincinnati; and in 2020, she was awarded as Teacher of the Year in Ohio, and the National Toyota Family Teacher of the Year.
Leila shares her passion for supporting students and empowering them for success. She truly cares for the youth, beyond their experience in the classroom. She put her teaching career on hold for three years to champion a house bill in Ohio, enabling foster youth to have homes until age 21.
