If you like to travel and LOVE learning and visiting lesser-known places...this is the podcast for you! I've been to quite a few well-known areas, but haven't had as much fun or gotten more out of my travels than when going off the beaten path. Now some of the places I mention you may have already heard of, (which is totally fine!) but mayhaps I can hit you with some new knowledge or exciting activities you may not have heard of. Maybe give ya that extra push to get out and visit some of these places! I also tackle some of the bigger issues involving men's mental health. I'm not a psychiatrist or therapist. I just share some of the tools I've used to battle my intrusive thoghts, as well as my depression. Mindfulness Magic: Stop Negative Thoughts in Their Tracks!
Bit of an impromptu video. Just for quick reference, I was sitting there looking at myself in the mirror and judging myself extremely harshly for my physical state of being...I had to stop for a second and realize that I was being pretty mean to myself. I then got to thinking: "If I'm thinking of myelf like this right now, that's going to be obvious to others the rest of the day." How you treat yourself is going to emanate from you throughout your day, and (if this is a daily occurence) consequently the rest of your life if you allow it. Join me for a few simple tips to better mindfulness and self-awareness that I have in my tool belt for self-improvement. We all want to be the best versions of ourselves that we can be, so why not put in the work to get there? It can be a long and oftentimes uncomfortable journey, but it's possible and I believe in you!
