If you've turned on the news at some point since last year I'm sure you've heard the name Karen Read at least once or twice; whether or not you looked into her case. The 1st trial took national attention which ended in a hung jury but the 2nd one that Norfolk County could not let go despite lack of evidence and police blatantly LYING has just came to and end with a NOT GUILTY verdict on all charges besides a simple OUI. While this is great news for Read we still wonder where was the public outrage for women like Jocelyn Vasquez who was wrongfully charged with murder and has yet to be freed despite a major lack of substantial evidence!
