MFREE 100 Trailer # 5 with Michael Pouliot: Is “I’ll Do It Tomorrow” Holding You Back?

Shelon Hutchinson Season 3 Episode 100

Some people wait for the “perfect” moment to get things done. This episode is about those who just get it done. No excuses. No dragging it out. Just commitment.

Michael Pouliot shares how high-performance environments shaped a mindset where almost anything—especially when it's on your desk or screen—can be finished today. It’s not about rushing... it’s about recognizing that discipline builds confidence. That “I can handle anything” energy doesn’t come from talent—it comes from reps.

This one's for the leaders who know that follow-through is the real flex. Start it. Finish it. Then move.

Michael Pouliot:

Anything can pretty much be accomplished, in one day, no matter how long that day is, especially when you're working with computers and you're putting together, a memo or a presentation or something like that's in your control that's right in front of you. there's really no excuse to leave the office or leave that work until it's done. and, and that was just like a requirement. So we would get assignments in the middle of the day and they had to get completed, by the time we left because they were due by the time we got in the next morning. So whether you had to stay till eight to get it done, or 8:00 AM the next morning, you just had to get it done. So the confidence that I think that develops in someone is really important. Recognizing that no matter how big the work effort is, almost anything, especially if it's in your control, if it's just a work product on your computer, it can be accomplished in the day that you. Get it started. and I think that gives you a lot of confidence to be able to go out there and, get an enormous amount of, work completed if necessary in a short period of time.
