MFREE 114 Trailer # 5 with VINCENT VILLANI: Is Airbnb Too Saturated or Just More Competitive Now?

Aloha, It’s Shelon "Hutch" Hutchinson here! If you’re enjoying 'The Multifamily Real Estate Experiment' podcast, please like, comment, and share our episodes to help us reach and inspire more people. Thank you for your support!

In this episode, we head into the truth behind the Airbnb saturation talk.

Vincent shares his take on why saturation isn't the problem people think it is. In fact, he sees it as a good thing. Saturation just means the standard has been raised. You can’t dabble anymore. You need real analysis, smart property selection, and a clear plan.

This episode clears up the noise and reminds investors that if you do the work, the opportunity is still there.

Vincent Villiani:

there's a lot of, there's a lot of hysteria around Airbnb that it's getting saturated. and it is right. Just like with anything else that works and is popularized, like wholesaling, for example, right? Wholesaling works. Wholesaling's great. Now it's super saturated because everybody knows that. Same with Airbnb. But I like to say that the saturation is an advantage because all saturation means hutch. Is that the standard has been raised, right? That means that you can't just dabble in it anymore. If you're going to do it, you've gotta do it well, and one of the biggest components of that is finding A, doing proper analysis and finding a good property that will solve 99% of your problems is you find a good property, right?
