You can let deal after deal go by until the right one shows up.
That takes patience. It also takes discipline.

We didn't have a lot going on, right. And we talked ourselves into doing this deal, and this was back when money was cheap and right before they started raising interest rates and it just. We didn't wait, had we been patient and said, eh, this isn't, this is an okay deal, but it's not great. Let's just, let's wait. And, wait for the fat pitch as Warren Buffet says, yeah. He likens investing to baseball where he says that, if you're sitting there with your bat about the, I'm not a big baseball guy, but he says, if you're sitting behind the plate and pitches are coming your way in baseball, you have to swing at something or else you're gonna get. You're gonna get called out. Yeah. Yeah. But in investing, you don't have to, you can literally sit there and let pitch after pitch after pitch go by. You can let a hundred pitches go by before you swing at one, and you only swing when it's the absolute perfect pitch. So, you know that, that's something that I've learned over time, especially after, making mistakes, is to be patient and wait for the good pitches.
