In this episode, Kevin Yoder shares why self-regulation may be one of the most important skills an entrepreneur can develop.

Entrepreneurship brings problems every day. The difference is not whether challenges appear, but how well you manage your emotions, protect your focus, and keep moving forward when they do. đź’Ş

Kevin explains that the problems that keep us down can reveal our current limitations, while the problems we learn to solve can expand our leadership and impact.

That lesson applies to business, real estate, and life. Bigger opportunities often come with greater pressure, more responsibility, and harder decisions. 🏢

Growth requires more than ambition. It requires the discipline to stay grounded while solving problems that matter.

what is your favorite real estate quote or success quote or mantra- that, that keeps you anchored? For me, there's not just one, but there is one- That's good that seems to have bubbled up recently, and last week it came up. I, and someone asked me, what's the one skill set that every successful entrepreneur should adopt? What's the one?" She didn't ask me the five, and I thought for a second, and it just came to me that this is it, and I said, "Self-regulation." Ooh. And she said, "So tell me how." And I said, "Because the size of the problem determines the size of the person, and so you can gauge the limitations of a person's life by the size of the problem that gets him or her down for extended period of time." Think about that. That's absolutely true. And so you can also measure the impact of a person's life by the size of the problems that we solve. And every day, as entrepreneurs, aren't we just waking up solving problems? And so you can either solve little problems for a lot of people, or you can solve big problems for a small amount of people, or you can solve big problems for a lot of people.
