Talmage:

Hey, everyone, thank you so much for coming back and listening to release the podcast. I just want to give you guys an update. So some crazy things are going on in my life right now. Some really good things, some pretty tough things, but just wanted to put this out here to let you guys know that there's some really good episodes coming up really soon. They're going to be coming out next week. And I just wanted to come on here and kind of just give an update. So as you guys may know, I am a Podcast Producer. Of course I am. I do released. But I am a Podcast Producer for other people as well. I actually released as the reason I got into podcast production, it was kind of a means to an end I loved released I wanted to make it better than it was in the first season. I wanted to continue to improve upon it and I just found a passion for creating quality content with quality stories and putting it together in a way that will make people want to listen. And for me creating released and I'm have a long way to go I still needed to make this thing much better than it is now. But as it is right now, I'm not saying I'm not proud of it, because I really am. I am so honestly, I don't have much to say I edit it. I put it together. But it's the people, the people that come on share their stories. That's the That's the true magic of it. But yeah, as I've been able to edit, learn more, get better equipment, have a studio, I've kind of developed a passion for this. And so I started a pod started doing podcast production, and my brother at film lab actually brought me on the team. He said, Talmage can you build out a podcasting department? And I'm like, Yeah, let's do it. So that's been something that has been incredibly fun to do is building out this podcasting department, helping other podcasts learn and grow. As we've done this, I've gotten to the point where it's just kind of gotten busy and we are having some growth pains right now things are kind of crazy. I am working way too much the balance in my life is almost non existent. I and so I'm kind of running myself ragged. Now the reason I guess I am telling you guys all of this is because I just want to let you know that while it's been crazy and a little bit a little bit spotty, not bad. But I am hoping to get some things in order with work so that way I can be a little bit more consistent with released it is currently really growing right now. And I am so grateful for every single one of you that have listened to it that have shared it that have subscribed and written reviews, it makes the biggest difference. But yeah, I'm I'm currently putting some things together with work so that way I can put the attention and time into released that it deserves. Now released is purely a passion project. I don't get any money from this, this is on my own dime. And I don't want any money from this. I love what I'm doing. And I have cool plans to make it even better. It's going to be going up on YouTube. We actually have some episodes out on YouTube right now. We're going to be getting a website with a blog from the episodes as well as other resources that return missionaries can look at in their transition home. With that being said I would I would appreciate it I know I always am asking you guys to subscribe and leave reviews and all that stuff. But honestly the most important thing, the best way you could help is just to send up a prayer for this podcast and for the returned missionaries that it'll it'll be able to really make an impact in their lives. And so if you guys could send up a prayer for released for the the guests that come on released. And for the other listeners, now again, as is my kind of tradition whenever I'm doing one of these solo episodes and more, more, so update, I want to leave you guys with something. And oftentimes it's a poem and today is no different. Now this poem is kind of on my mind right now because it is something I have not been good at recently. It's leisure by W. H. Davies. What is this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare. No time to stand beneath the boughs and stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see in woods we pass where the squirrels hide their nuts in the grass. No time to see in broad daylight, streams full of stars like skies at night. No time to stare at beauties glance and watch her feet how they can dance. No time to wait till her mouth can enrich that smile, her eyes began a poor life this is full of care, we have no time to stand and stare. Now you guys could probably totally pick out the reason why I've been thinking about that poem is because I haven't had much of that in my life as of late. And it's something I want to change. I think God is really, he really wants us to enjoy this life that He's given us, Adam felt that men might be in men or that they might have joy. And yeah, there's seasons of really hard work. And then there's seasons of, of more plenty. But if we can balance as well as we can, then we can sustain that hard work and make it much more consistent. And so that's my kind of goal for right now is to put myself in a situation where I can keep this more consistent and more sustainable. Well, everybody again, thank you so much for listening to released. Remember God is good and is planning on your success. And though you've been released from your mission, you've not been released from your ministry.
