Happy Thanksgiving!

Matt and Jeremy hope that you have a very joyful and connected and Happy Thanksgiving. We are going to be with our families today, pressing to connection, and maybe even against some togetherness pressures. But always mindful of where we end, and the other person begins. (I couldn't resist -... Man, there are potential differentiation jokes everywhere!)

We are going to air the episode that would have gone live today - tomorrow. Please look for it on Friday the 28th (2025) as it's a really good one. For now, Turn us off, and go delight in your friendships, family, and invest in the relationships that God has blessed you with.

Are you gonna have turkey today? I am, yes. I'm not sure where I'll be having it. I'm not sure what else I'll be having with it, but I am certain to have Thanksgiving. I've been playing with cornbread recently with jalapenos and cheddar. Oh, stop it! And I plan to have this already done so that later today, with my turkey, I can have a jalapeno cheddar cornbread stuffing.

I know I'm flying in from Cordelant just to try that. Uh, we will be hosting Thanksgiving today. My wife's uh extended family, my oldest will be back in with his wife. Good. We're gonna have a smoked turkey for the second time. Last year, people were f extreme raving fans of the Spatchcock smoked turkey. So that's excellent. Highly recommended to our listeners.

That is excellent. Well, listener, thank you for dropping by to listen to this, even though it is Thanksgiving Day. Uh, because our episodes drop typically on Thursday, and today is Thursday, but it's also Thanksgiving. We thought that we would not take your time with a regular scheduled episode, but we just say happy Thanksgiving and go back and spend time with your family. Being a non-anxious presence is about relationship. And so go enjoy the relationship with your family, remind each other what it is you have to be grateful for today, and uh give thanks to our creator who's given it all to us. We'll drop the regular episode tomorrow, so catch up instead of doing the Black Friday lines, it's not really worth it. We'll be back to give you the next installment of the Church Renewal podcast tomorrow morning. And we'll see you then.
