Andy Riise - Ret Army Officer, Mental Toughness Coach
As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad. Thank you, #CatchSitkaSportFishing and #ACMEHomes, for your continued support!!!
Today, we sat down with Andy Riise whom I met during my time with Limitless Minds. Andy is a retired Army officer who graduated from West Point Military Academy. Originally from Oakdale, CA, he is a proud Eagle Scout and also grew up playing sports, drawing/painting, and exploring the outdoors. As a fullback for Army Football and two-time letterman, he learned what General Douglas MacArthur said, "on the fields of friendly strife, are sewn the seeds that on other fields, on other days, will bear the fruits of victory."
Andy runs his own consulting company, Design to Perform, and is also a Room filter for Limitless Minds. Andy also spent time in Major League Baseball as a performance coach for the Reds, Rockies, and Seattle Mariners.
Today we talk to Andy, the dad, and learn how he grew up striving to be the ultimate Quarterback of his family. He is a proud father of four children who is leading his family through all of the wisdom shared with him by his family. Andy shares so much in this episode and shares we as a family must be all in together. He also makes sure his kids always will be all they can be while also maintaining and growing their confidence. Andy also opens up about his time serving overseas and how he battled guilt and depression and also shared a story to honor his late brother-in-law.
To connect with Andy, he can be reached on LinkedIn.
