Show Notes

As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad.  Thank you, #CatchSitkaSportFishing and #ACMEHomes, for your continued support!!!

Today, we sat down with a former college teammate of mine, Marty Greenlee.  Marty is the Vice President of Sales for Neighborly Software, a company that is purpose-driven people dedicated to serving something bigger than ourselves.  Helping Communities Help People is at the heart of all they do.  It's how they designed their software and delivered unmatched Neighbor experiences.

Today, we learn about Marty, the dad who is the father of three young boys.  Marty is a divorced father who is remarried and still has a great co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife.   If you're a father who has been through a divorce, this episode is for you on what success looks like from a co-parenting perspective.  Marty also shared a powerful acronym on the word L.O.V.E. (Learn, Observe, Value & Empathy).

Marty also shares a vulnerable story from our football days regarding a missed field goal in a championship game.  Just like us all, we are not defined by one moment.  Marty has worked hard to ensure he is the best version of himself, and you will hear how in the powerful episode.

Lastly, Marty provides superior wisdom and reminders for us dads to always be present, Listen intently, and work on self-forgiveness as we take on challenges and experiences each day.  You can connect live with him on LinkedIn to learn more about Marty.
